## Pricing

from $3.50 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Google Maps Leads Scraper — Phone, Website & Email

Turn Google Maps into a **local lead list**. Search by business type + location and get every listing with the fields that matter for outreach — including the **email address pulled from each business's own website**, which Maps itself almost never shows.

### What you get

| Field | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| `name` | Business name |
| `category` | Primary category (e.g. "Marketing agency") |
| `address` | Full street address |
| `phone` | Phone number |
| `website` | Business website URL |
| `email` | Email found on the business website *(when `extractEmails` is on)* |
| `plusCode` | Google Plus Code |
| `rating` | Average star rating |
| `reviews` | Total review count |
| `mapsUrl` | Google Maps place URL |
| `searchQuery` | The query + location used |
| `scrapedAt` | ISO 8601 timestamp |

### Input

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["marketing agency", "dentist"],
  "location": "Dubai",
  "maxResults": 30,
  "extractEmails": true,
  "proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": true }
}
```

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|-------|------|---------|-------------|
| `searchQueries` | array | — | Business types / search terms |
| `location` | string | — | City or area, appended to each term |
| `maxResults` | integer | 20 | Businesses per query |
| `extractEmails` | boolean | true | Fetch each website to find an email (slower, high value) |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | Apify proxy | Proxy for loading Maps |

### Use cases

- **Local lead generation** — build prospect lists of businesses in any niche + city.
- **Sales prospecting** — get phone, website and email in one export.
- **Market research** — map competitor density, ratings and categories in an area.
- **Agencies** — find local businesses without a strong web presence to pitch.

### 🤖 Use with Claude or ChatGPT (MCP)

Run this actor straight from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client via the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com). In **Claude Desktop**: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → `https://mcp.apify.com`, then ask it to find local business leads. Or expose just this tool:

```json
{ "mcpServers": { "apify": { "url": "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=get_anything/google-maps-leads" } } }
```

### Notes

- Only public Google Maps and website data is collected; no logins.
- Email extraction visits the business's own site and one contact page.
- Respect anti-spam and data-protection laws (GDPR/CAN-SPAM) when contacting leads.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

Business types or search terms, e.g. 'dentist', 'coffee shop', 'marketing agency'. Combined with the location below.

## `location` (type: `string`):

City / area to search in, e.g. 'Dubai', 'London', 'New York'. Appended to each search term.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of businesses to collect per search term.

For each business with a website, fetch the site (and a contact page) and extract an email address. Slower but adds the most valuable lead field.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy used to load Google Maps. Apify Proxy is recommended.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchQueries": [
    "marketing agency"
  ],
  "location": "New York",
  "maxResults": 5,
  "extractEmails": true,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One item per business in the default dataset - name, address, phone, website, email, rating and reviews.
