## Changelog

All notable changes to BusinessesForSale Scraper are documented here.

### 0.2.1 (2026-11-04)

- 📧 New option to find contact emails: turn on Find contact emails and each listing is checked for a contact email, including the business's own website when it links one. Listings with no public email are simply left without one, never a made-up address.
- 🔁 Off by default, so existing runs are unchanged. All earlier inputs and output fields keep working.

### 0.2 (2026-10-23)

- 🏢 Now built for business broker listings: results carry asking price, revenue and cash flow straight from the search results, with no extra setup.
- ✅ Business type, sector, country site and region searches now open the right BusinessesForSale pages. Earlier versions often found nothing for these inputs.
- 🤝 New broker details option: broker name, how many listings that broker has, seller reference, selling points, all photos and the full description.
- 🏪 Franchises now return franchise fee, total investment and minimum investment. Choose businesses only, franchises only, or both.
- 🔔 New monitor mode: name a search, schedule it, and each run returns only new listings, price drops, price rises and edits.
- 🎯 Price, revenue and cash flow limits now work on every run. Listings without a shown figure are skipped when you set a limit.
- 🛡️ Runs end cleanly with a clear message when a search has no matches or the site cannot be reached. Free-plan runs are limited in size and frequency.
- ⚡ Faster and cheaper runs: pages are read directly and a proxy is only used if the site refuses the connection.
- 🔁 All earlier inputs and output fields keep working.
