## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 customs records

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

**Get US customs import records from ImportYeti and download them as JSON, CSV or Excel.** Search companies and suppliers, open their profiles, and pull one row per shipment, per trading partner and per shipping lane. No account, no login and no key is needed.

***

### 🔍 What can you do with it?

- **I source products overseas** and want to see which factories already ship my product category to US buyers, how often, and from which country.
- **I sell to importers** and need a list of active US buyers of one HS code, filtered to companies that shipped in the last 6 months.
- **I do competitor and customer research** and want to see who supplies a rival, how fast that volume is growing and which ports it moves through.
- **I qualify suppliers** and need shipment counts, carriers and product mix before I place a first order.
- **I analyse trade flows** and need clean shipment and lane rows for one product or country, not a screenshot of a page.

### 🚀 How to use it

</table>

**Good to know before you start**

- Leave every lookup field empty and the Actor runs a small sample search, so a first test always returns rows.
- A search returns at most 150 matches. For longer lists, add several searches, for example one per country or product word.
- Each profile lists its 50 latest shipments. Each HS code, product word, country or port page lists up to 50 importers and 50 suppliers.
- Profiles, shipments, partners and lanes are off by default. Switch on only what you need, because each one adds rows.
- A bare name such as `apple` tries the importer first. Use `supplier/foxconn-interconnect-technology` to open a supplier with that exact link path.
- Product words work when the site has a page for that word, for example `hdmi` or `carpet`. A word with no page is reported in the log and skipped.

### ⚙️ Input

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Search names or products | array of text | No | Company names, supplier names or product words, one per row. Each row returns up to Max results per lookup. |
| Search by | enum | No | Match names and products, or match the address a company ships from or to. |
| Company or supplier profiles | array of text | No | Profile links, link paths or bare names to open in full. The cheapest way to enrich a list you already have. |
| HS codes | array of text | No | Product codes of 2 to 10 digits, for example `8504` or `8504.40`. Returns the biggest importers and suppliers of that product, the latest shipments and market totals. |
| Product keywords | array of text | No | Single product words as they appear in shipment descriptions, for example `hdmi`. |
| Supplier countries or location pages | array of text | No | A country name such as `vietnam`, or a link to a state, city or port page. |
| Any ImportYeti links | array of URLs | No | Paste links of any supported page type. Each one is recognised automatically. |
| Importer or supplier | enum | No | Keep only overseas suppliers, only US importers, or both. |
| Shipped within | enum | No | Keep only companies whose latest record is within 6 or 12 months. |
| Minimum total shipments | integer | No | Skip companies with fewer customs records than this. |
| Countries (two-letter codes) | array of text | No | Keep only companies based in these countries, for example `VN` or `IN`. |
| Rankings to return for HS codes, keywords and locations | enum | No | Importers, suppliers or both. |
| Load full profiles | boolean | No | Opens every match and returns its full profile. Off by default. |
| Include shipment records | boolean | No | One row per shipment for each profile, or the latest shipments of a market. Off by default. |
| Include supplier and customer links | boolean | No | One row per trading partner of each profile. Off by default. |
| Include port-to-port lanes | boolean | No | One row per shipping lane with year-on-year change. Off by default. |
| Include monthly history | boolean | No | Adds month-by-month shipment counts. Off by default. |
| Only new shipments and partners since last run | boolean | No | Returns only what was not delivered on an earlier run with the same monitor name. The first run returns everything. |
| Monitor name | text | No | A label for the watch, so separate schedules keep separate memory. |
| Max rows | integer | No | Upper limit on rows for the whole run. The default is 10. |
| Max results per lookup | integer | No | Matches kept per search row and per side of a market ranking. The default is 10, the most the site serves is 150. |
| Proxy | object | No | Connection settings. The default works for most runs. |

Shipment value, buyer contacts and per-record detail beyond the public view stay out of reach without a paid account on the source site, and this Actor never asks you for one.

### ✨ Tips and best practices

- Start with the default 10 rows to see the shape of the data, then raise the limit.
- Use Shipped within and Minimum total shipments to drop dormant and one-off companies from lead lists.
- Search a product word with Include supplier and customer links to see which factories sit behind the biggest buyers.
- For monitoring, keep the same Monitor name and the same lookups on every scheduled run. The first run saves the baseline and returns everything.
- Names on customs records are spelled many ways. Check the `alsoKnownAs` list on a profile before you decide two companies are different.

### ❓ FAQ

##### Does it need an ImportYeti account or API key?

No. It reads only what is visible to anyone on the site, so there is nothing to log in to and no key to enter.

##### How do I find all importers of one product?

Put the HS code in HS codes, for example `8504.40`, and choose importers in the rankings option. You get the largest importers of that product, plus the latest shipments for it if you switch shipments on. For deeper lists, add more specific codes.

##### Can I get a company's phone number or email?

No. The source site masks phone numbers and locks email addresses for anonymous visitors, so the Actor leaves them out rather than guessing. You get websites, addresses and shipment history instead.

##### How do I track a competitor's new suppliers?

Add the competitor's profile link, switch on Include supplier and customer links and Include shipment records, turn on the new-only option and give the watch a Monitor name. Schedule the run daily or weekly. Each run returns only new shipments and new partners.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

Company names, supplier names or product words to search for, one per row, for example nike or led lighting. Each row returns up to the value of Max results per lookup (150 is the most the site serves per search). Leave every lookup field empty to run a small sample search.

## `searchBy` (type: `string`):

Choose whether the search rows above match names and products, or the address a company or supplier ships from or to, such as atlanta or ho chi minh.

## `profiles` (type: `array`):

Known profiles to load in full, one per row. Use a link, a path such as supplier/foxconn-interconnect-technology, or a bare name like apple (the importer is tried first). This is the cheapest way to enrich a list you already have.

## `hsCodes` (type: `array`):

Product classification codes of 2 to 10 digits, for example 8504 or 8504.40. Each one returns the biggest importers and suppliers of that product, the latest shipments and the market totals.

## `productTags` (type: `array`):

Single product words as they appear in shipment descriptions, for example hdmi or carpet. Each one returns the biggest importers and suppliers shipping goods described with that word. The tags field on a profile lists words that are known to work; a word with no page is reported and skipped.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

A country name such as vietnam (lists foreign suppliers there), or a full ImportYeti location or port link for a state, city or port. Each one returns the biggest suppliers or importers based there.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Paste importyeti.com links of any supported page type (company, supplier, HS code, product keyword, location or port). Each link is recognised automatically.

## `entityType` (type: `string`):

Keep only overseas suppliers, only US importers, or both. Applied to search results and to bare profile names.

## `mostRecentShipment` (type: `string`):

Keep only entities whose latest customs record is within this window. Useful to drop dormant companies from lead lists.

## `minShipments` (type: `integer`):

Skip entities with fewer customs records than this. Use it to separate regular traders from one-off buyers.

## `countryCodes` (type: `array`):

Keep only entities based in these countries, for example VN, IN or US. Leave empty to allow every country.

## `marketRoles` (type: `string`):

HS code, keyword, location and port pages list up to 50 top importers and 50 top suppliers. Choose which side you want.

## `fetchProfiles` (type: `boolean`):

Open every matched company or supplier and return its full profile: addresses, HS codes, carriers, notify parties, trademarks and volume trends. Slower than plain search cards because each profile is one more page load.

## `includeShipments` (type: `boolean`):

Add one row per bill of lading for each profile, with date, bill numbers, supplier or importer, weight, quantity, containers, product description, trade route and estimated freight cost. The site shows the 50 latest per profile. For HS code and keyword lookups this returns the latest shipments in that market.

## `includePartners` (type: `boolean`):

Add one row per trading partner of each profile: an importer's suppliers or a supplier's customers, with shipments together, last 12 months, volumes, HS codes and the partner's other big buyers. This is the supplier-to-customer map.

## `includeTradeLanes` (type: `boolean`):

Add one row per shipping lane (departure port to US arrival port) with shipments, year-on-year change, weight, containers and estimated cost.

## `includeTimeSeries` (type: `boolean`):

Add the month-by-month shipment counts to profiles and partner rows. Makes rows larger.

## `onlyNewShipments` (type: `boolean`):

Remember what each profile or market already returned and, on later runs, return only shipment rows and trading partners that have not been seen before. The first run returns everything and saves the baseline. Schedule the Actor daily or weekly to watch competitors, customers or suppliers.

## `monitorId` (type: `string`):

A label for this watch. Use different names for different schedules so each keeps its own memory of what was already delivered.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Hard cap on rows saved in the whole run, across every row type. Free plans are capped at 25 per run.

## `maxResultsPerSource` (type: `integer`):

How many matches to keep for each search row and for each side of an HS code, keyword or location ranking. The site serves at most 150 matches per search.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Datacenter proxies work for this site and keep runs cheap. Every request uses a fresh exit address. If the site refuses datacenter addresses the Actor retries through residential ones automatically.
