## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Monitor

Get open jobs from company career boards on **Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and SmartRecruiters** in one schema.

The Actor reads each platform's public job-board API. It doesn't use a browser or proxies, and it reads no login-protected data.

### What it does

- **One schema across five platforms**, so you can combine boards without writing mapping code.
- **Only new jobs:** turn on `onlyNew` and schedule the Actor to get just the jobs not seen in earlier runs.
- **Salaries as numbers:** uses the salary the ATS provides, or looks for an annual range in the description. `salarySource` tells you which.
- **Filters:** title keywords, excluded keywords, location, remote, salary present, posted within N days.
- **Bad boards don't fail the run:** each board's result is listed in `SUMMARY` in the key-value store.

### Input

```json
{
  "companies": [
    "https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/stripe",
    "https://jobs.lever.co/spotify",
    "ashby:ramp",
    "notion"
  ],
  "keywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "excludeKeywords": ["intern"],
  "remoteOnly": false,
  "onlyNew": true,
  "monitorName": "engineering"
}
```

A bare slug such as `notion` is checked on each platform, and the first one with open jobs is used. Use a URL or `ats:slug` if you need a specific board. Boards hosted in Lever's EU region need a `jobs.eu.lever.co` URL.

You need to know which companies you want: this Actor reads the boards you list and doesn't search the whole job market.

### Output

```json
{
  "id": "ashby:ramp:34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "ats": "ashby",
  "company": "ramp",
  "companySlug": "ramp",
  "title": "Security Engineer, Cloud",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "team": "Backend",
  "location": "New York, NY (HQ)",
  "country": "USA",
  "isRemote": true,
  "workplaceType": "Hybrid",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "salaryMin": 211400,
  "salaryMax": 290600,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryPeriod": "year",
  "salarySource": "ats",
  "publishedAt": "2026-04-07T17:12:35.753+00:00",
  "updatedAt": null,
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245/app",
  "descriptionText": "...",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-11-04T16:00:00Z"
}
```

Fields a platform doesn't provide are `null`. `company` is the board's slug on Lever and Ashby, because their APIs don't return a display name.

### Pricing

$0.005 per run plus $0.001 per job returned. Filtered-out and already-seen jobs aren't charged. If you set a maximum cost per run, the Actor stops there, and jobs it didn't send stay "new" for the next run.

### Limits

- Salary parsing covers `$`, `€` and `£` annual ranges written as ranges in the description. It can miss or misread unusual wording, and it may pick up a range for a different location, so check it before relying on it.
- `isRemote` reflects what the board says. Without a platform flag, it means the location or workplace type contains "remote".
- With `onlyNew`, a job that leaves a board and returns later counts as new.

### Issues

Open an issue on the Actor's Issues tab with your input and run ID. This Actor isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the ATS platforms it reads.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Career board URLs (https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/stripe, https://jobs.lever.co/spotify, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp, https://apply.workable.com/acme, https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/acme), or ats:slug such as greenhouse:stripe, or a bare slug such as stripe to detect the platform.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these. Case-insensitive. Empty keeps all.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location text contains any of these, such as Berlin or United Kingdom.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs the board marks as remote or that say remote in their location.

## `onlyWithSalary` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs with a salary from the ATS or found in the description.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs published in the last N days. Jobs without a date are dropped when this is set.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Output only jobs not seen in earlier runs. Use with a schedule. The first run outputs everything that matches.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Keeps separate seen-job history for each monitor when Only new jobs is on.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Limit output per company. 0 means no limit.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Include the job description as plain text.

## `includeDescriptionHtml` (type: `boolean`):

Also include the original description HTML.
