## Google Play Regional Top Charts — South Asia & MENA

Daily Google Play top-chart snapshots for Pakistan, India, UAE and 16 other
under-covered markets — rank, rating, price and category for every app on
the chart.

### Why regional charts, not another generic scraper

Regional Play charts diverge sharply from the US chart most scrapers are
built around. A live comparison found:

For ASO research, competitor benchmarking, or market analysis focused on
South Asia or MENA, a US-anchored chart tracker is missing most of what
you need to see.

### What you get

One row per app per chart, per run:

### Input options

- Countries — pick from 19 verified markets: PK, IN, AE, BD, EG, SA, NG,
  ID, PH, VN, TR, MY, LK, NP, KE, ZA, MA, IQ, US.
- Categories — the overall top chart by default, or any combination of
  14 Play categories (GAME, SOCIAL, FINANCE, and more). Results are billed
  per country x category, so pulling several categories across several
  countries multiplies row count accordingly.
- Contact email (optional) — included in outbound requests so Google
  can reach you if there is ever an issue, rather than blocking silently.
  Leave blank to omit it.
- Delay between countries — a politeness delay between requests, 1
  second minimum.

### Reliability

Every run is checked before anything is written: each country must return
at least 20 apps with valid ratings, or the run fails outright rather than
handing you a silently incomplete dataset. If one country in a
multi-country run fails, nothing is written for any of them — you get a
complete dataset or a clear error, never a partial one you would have to
discover for yourself.

### Notes

- Only the top free chart is currently supported. Paid and grossing
  charts are not available through the public Google Play web interface
  and are not offered by this Actor.
- Runs on datacenter proxies for speed and reliability; the page requires
  no browser and presents no CAPTCHA.

ISO country codes to collect top charts for. Regional markets diverge 60-79% from the US chart, which is the coverage gap this Actor targets. Verified working: PK, IN, AE, BD, EG, SA, NG, ID, PH, VN, TR, MY, LK, NP, KE, ZA, MA, IQ, US.

## `categories` (type: `array`):

Which Play categories to collect per country. Leave empty for the overall top chart only. Use the single value ALL to collect the overall chart plus every supported category. Supported: GAME, SOCIAL, FINANCE, COMMUNICATION, TOOLS, SHOPPING, ENTERTAINMENT, PRODUCTIVITY, HEALTH\_AND\_FITNESS, EDUCATION, BUSINESS, MUSIC\_AND\_AUDIO, PHOTOGRAPHY, TRAVEL\_AND\_LOCAL. Note: results = countries x categories, so both axes multiply the number of billed results.

## `chart` (type: `string`):

Label written into every output record. Useful when scheduling several runs into one dataset.

## `contactEmail` (type: `string`):

Embedded in the User-Agent so the target site can reach you rather than silently blocking. Honest identification is deliberate.

## `delaySeconds` (type: `integer`):

Politeness delay. Minimum enforced is 1s; the default is deliberately conservative to stay well below nuisance load.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

DATACENTER is strongly recommended. The chart page is ~2.33MB; on residential proxies bandwidth consumes roughly 76% of net revenue per run, versus effectively zero on datacenter. The page needs no browser and presents no CAPTCHA, so datacenter is sufficient.
