## Changelog

All notable changes to Glassdoor Jobs Scraper are recorded here. The newest release is first.

Apify renders this as a Changelog tab on the Store page. Keeping it current is a
visible signal that the Actor is maintained, which feeds the quality score that
drives Store and MCP search ranking. Add an entry with every published build.

### 0.1 - 2026-10-16

First public release.

- Pricing: $0.30 per 1,000 jobs from the search results. Full descriptions are a separate event, charged only for jobs whose description was actually fetched. Maximum jobs is always respected (small description runs are no longer raised to 20 jobs).

- No date sort: Glassdoor's search does not return jobs in date order, so the Actor does not offer one. Use Date posted for fresh jobs; every row has `postedDaysAgo`.

- Personal data: emails (also "jane(at)example.com" spellings), phone numbers, personal profile links and contact names are removed from snippets, `description` and `descriptionHtml`, including the names in federal "Agency contact information" blocks.

- Glassdoor job search by keywords, location (resolved with Glassdoor's own location list) or Glassdoor search URLs, with date, job type, remote, Easy Apply, rating and radius filters.

- Salary range as numbers (`salaryMin`, `salaryMedian`, `salaryMax`), company rating, skills and tags on every row; optional full description.

- Residential proxy included in the price; no login and no API key.

- Every row carries `status`, so a missing record (`not_found`) and a failure (`error`) are told apart from real data. Only `ok` rows are charged.

- Records are validated against a schema before they are written, so an upstream change produces loud warnings instead of silently billing for empty rows.

- Callable with no arguments by an AI agent, which the input schema's defaults make safe.
