- Three data types from Yahoo Finance's public endpoints, with no login and no API key: quote snapshots (up to 50 symbols per request), historical OHLCV bars with adjusted close, dividends and splits, and fundamentals with company profile and about 50 ratios.
- Stocks, ETFs, indices, crypto, currencies and futures on every exchange Yahoo covers; company names are resolved to tickers with Yahoo's symbol search.
- Every row carries `status`, so an unknown ticker (`not_found`) and a failure (`error`) are told apart from real data. Only `ok` rows are charged, and a run whose only rows are `not_found` still succeeds.
- Unknown tickers get one free `not_found` row with `symbol`, `dataType` and a plain reason in every mode; for history and fundamentals they are found before fetching, so they are reported even when `maxItems` is small. The anonymous session crumb travels in a request header and never appears in a row or the run log.
- Executives' names and pay, head-office phone numbers and street addresses are never extracted.
- Callable with no arguments by an AI agent: the default returns six example quotes in a few seconds.
- Results whose text mentions "captcha" or "access denied" (a company description, a headline) are no longer mistaken for an anti-bot block, which could fail a good run.
