## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 job results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Arbeitsagentur Jobs Scraper: 1M German Jobs with Salaries

**Arbeitsagentur Jobs Scraper** searches the **Jobsuche of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit** (German Federal Employment Agency), Germany's largest job board with **over 1 million open jobs**, and returns clean, English-keyed JSON: job title, employer, workplace address and coordinates, **salary**, remote/home office, contract type, working time, start date and the full description. Search by job title, city or postal code, radius and date. **Drop temp agencies (Zeitarbeit) and private recruiters** with one switch.

Built for **job boards and aggregators**, **recruiting and HR tech**, **labor market research**, **sales teams looking for companies that are hiring**, and **AI agents** answering job questions about Germany.

👉 **Try it now:** keep the prefilled input (Softwareentwickler in Berlin, 20 jobs) and click **Start**. That's 4 cents.

### 🤖 Quick reference for AI agents

- **Actor ID:** `gleanery_actors/arbeitsagentur-jobs-scraper`. MCP: `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=gleanery_actors/arbeitsagentur-jobs-scraper`
- **Use it when** the user asks for jobs in Germany (any sector: IT, nursing, trades, logistics, retail, apprenticeships), salaries for a German job, or which German companies are hiring for a role.
- **Minimal input:** `{"searchTerms": ["Pflegefachkraft"], "location": "Hamburg", "maxItems": 30}`. German job titles match best.
- **Useful inputs:** `postedWithinDays`, `radiusKm`, `remoteOnly`, `onlyWithSalary`, `minSalaryYearly`, `excludeTempAgencies`, `excludePrivateRecruiters`, `offerType` (`job`, `apprenticeship`, `internship`), `workingTime` (`fullTime`, `partTime`)
- **Output:** one item per job: `title`, `companyName`, `city`, `postalCode`, `region`, `remote`, `contractType`, `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryInterval`, `postedAt`, `url`, `externalUrl`, `description`
- **Save context tokens:** `"includeDescription": false` (also much faster), or `"descriptionMaxLength": 300`, plus `"omitEmptyFields": true`
- **Cost:** $0.002 per job. No start fee.
- **No Apify account?** Agents can pay per use with x402 or MPP through [agi.apify.com](https://agi.apify.com).

### ✨ Why this Arbeitsagentur scraper

- 🇩🇪 **The whole German job market**: 1M+ jobs, from software developers and engineers to nurses, electricians, drivers and apprenticeships. Many are posted nowhere else.
- 💶 **Salaries as numbers**: `salaryMin`, `salaryMax` and `salaryInterval` (year, month, hour), parsed from salary ranges and fixed pay. Filter with `onlyWithSalary` or `minSalaryYearly`.
- 🧹 **Direct employers only, if you want**: `excludeTempAgencies` drops Zeitarbeit offers (up to 40% of some searches), `excludePrivateRecruiters` drops placement agencies, and every job has `isTempAgency` / `isPrivateRecruiter` flags.
- 📍 **Precise location**: street, postal code, city, state (Bundesland) and latitude/longitude for maps and distance filters.
- 🏢 **Company website** when the employer posted directly, and `postedVia` when a partner board delivered the job.
- 🔁 **Monitoring mode**: schedule it daily and get (and pay for) only **new or edited** jobs.
- 🌐 **English field names**, so it plugs into your pipeline next to other job sources.
- 💵 **$2 per 1,000 jobs**, cheaper on paid Apify plans. No start fee, no proxy costs.

### ❓ FAQ

**Where does the data come from?**
From the public job search (Jobsuche) of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit at arbeitsagentur.de, the same data job seekers see.

**Should I search in German or English?**
German job titles match best ("Softwareentwickler", "Pflegefachkraft", "Lagerhelfer"). English titles that are common in Germany ("Data Engineer", "Product Manager") work too.

**Why do I get at most 10,000 jobs per search term?**
The job board returns at most 10,000 results per search. For more, split the search by city, add terms, or use `postedWithinDays` with a daily schedule.

**How many jobs have a salary?**
About a quarter. Use `onlyWithSalary` to keep only those.

**Is it legal and GDPR-compliant?**
The actor returns job postings published for job seekers: employer, workplace and job details. It does not collect applicant data or personal profiles. Free-text descriptions may name a contact person exactly as the employer published it; turn off `includeDescription` or cut it with `descriptionMaxLength` if you don't need it.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

One search per term, e.g. "Softwareentwickler", "Pflegefachkraft", "Elektriker". German job titles match best; English titles common in Germany ("Data Engineer") work too. Leave empty to get all jobs matching the filters below.

## `location` (type: `string`):

City, district or postal code in Germany, e.g. "Berlin", "München", "80331". Empty = all of Germany (and the few foreign jobs listed).

## `radiusKm` (type: `integer`):

Search radius around the location.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs published in the last N days. 0 = any time. Use 1 for a daily feed.

## `offerType` (type: `string`):

Regular jobs, apprenticeships (Ausbildung), internships/trainee programs, or self-employment offers.

## `workingTime` (type: `array`):

Any of these. Empty = any.

## `contractType` (type: `string`):

Permanent or fixed-term contracts only. Jobs that don't state it are included only with "Any".

## `excludeTempAgencies` (type: `boolean`):

Drop temporary staffing offers (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung). They are about 40% of some searches.

## `excludePrivateRecruiters` (type: `boolean`):

Drop offers posted by private job placement agencies (private Arbeitsvermittlung), keeping direct employers.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Only jobs that offer home office.

## `onlyWithSalary` (type: `boolean`):

Only jobs that state pay (about a quarter of all listings).

## `minSalaryYearly` (type: `integer`):

Keep jobs whose stated pay reaches at least this per year. Hourly and monthly pay is converted (2,080 hours, 12 months). Jobs without salary are dropped when set.

## `excludeTitleKeywords` (type: `array`):

e.g. "Werkstudent", "Praktikum", "Senior".

## `excludeCompanies` (type: `array`):

Drop employers whose name contains any of these, e.g. a competitor or an agency you've seen enough of.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Fetch each job's full description, the employer's website and the temp-agency / recruiter flags. Turn off for a faster, lighter list.

## `descriptionMaxLength` (type: `integer`):

Cut descriptions to this many characters. 0 = full text.

## `omitEmptyFields` (type: `boolean`):

Leave out null and empty fields for compact output (useful for AI agents).

Stop after this many jobs in total. Caps your cost. The API returns up to 10,000 jobs per search term.

## `onlyNewOrUpdated` (type: `boolean`):

For scheduled runs: return (and charge for) only jobs that are new or were edited since the previous run with the same input.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Optional name for the monitoring memory. Runs with the same key share it.
