Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

**One username in, one TikTok profile record out.**

TikTok User Profile Scraper is a lightweight account-vetting lookup — no video history, no comment history, just the account fields you'd check before deciding whether to pull anything deeper. Turn on Add User Details for country and similar-account signals in the same run.

### Getting started

Provide a username. Deactivated or geo-restricted accounts may return a partial record.

#### Look up a user

Enter a username and enable Add User Details when you need country and similar-account data merged into the record.

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `username` | string | Yes | TikTok username (without @), or a profile URL (https://www.tiktok.com/@<name>). |
| `enrichUserDetails` | boolean | No | Add country lookup and similar-account recommendations to the profile. One extra request. |

```json
{
  "username": "khaby.lame",
  "enrichUserDetails": false
}
```

### Dataset fields

#### 👤 User identity

| Field | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `username` | string | TikTok username/uniqueId. |
| `user_id` | mixed | TikTok numeric user ID. |
| `sec_user_id` | mixed | TikTok opaque secUid. |
| `nickname` | mixed | Display name. |

#### 📊 Engagement signals

| Field | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `stats` | object | Engagement stats (likes/comments/shares/plays or followers/following/hearts), when available. |

#### 🔍 Optional detail payload

| Field | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `user_detail` | object | Country + similar-account detail, present when Add User Details is enabled. |

```json
{
  "username": "khaby.lame",
  "nickname": "Khaby Lame",
  "stats": {
    "followerCount": 1
  }
}
```

### Pricing

This Actor uses Apify pay-per-result pricing. You are charged for successful dataset results according to the Actor pricing shown on the Apify Pricing tab.

Apify's free credits may cover small test runs and up to the free result allowance configured for the Actor.

Use Max Results to bound a run before scaling to larger usernames, keywords, or ID lists.

### Legal disclaimer

This Actor extracts publicly available TikTok content. It should not be used to collect private user data. Make sure your use case complies with applicable privacy laws, TikTok's terms, and your own legal obligations. If you are unsure, consult a qualified lawyer.
