## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Jobs API: All Jobs from Any myworkdayjobs.com Career Site

Get every open job from any company that hires through **Workday**, as clean JSON. Workday career sites have URLs like `company.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/...`, and thousands of large employers use them, including NVIDIA, Salesforce, Workday and many Fortune 500 companies. Paste the career-site URLs to get titles, full descriptions, exact posting dates, all locations, country, remote type, employment type and salary parsed from the text.

The Actor reads the same public JSON endpoint that the career site loads in your browser. It needs no login, no proxies and no browser, so it is fast and cheap.

### Why use it

- **No 2,000-job cap.** Workday search never returns more than 2,000 results. Past that point it silently repeats page 1. This Actor detects the cap and splits the search by Workday's own facets (job family, location…), then removes duplicates. In our test, NVIDIA returned **2,682 jobs** while Workday's counter showed "2,000".
- **Full details.** Description (text and HTML), exact posting date, every location, country and ISO code, remote type (Flex/Remote/Office), time type, requisition ID, legal entity and apply URL.
- **Salary from pay-transparency text,** e.g. `$120,000 – $150,000 per year`, with the currency and period.
- **Filters:** Workday's own search text, title keywords, excluded keywords, location/country text, remote only and posted within N days. Cheap list-level filters run before any detail request.
- **Only-new mode.** Schedule the Actor and get only the jobs it hasn't returned before. Add a Slack, email or webhook integration to get job alerts.
- **Same schema as our [Company Jobs API](https://apify.com/globose_talent_mn9/ats-jobs-api)** for Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters and Recruitee, so you can merge both feeds.
- **Failed sites are free.** A wrong or dead URL produces a clear error row, and you are not charged for it.

### Input example

```json
{
  "careerSiteUrls": [
    "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite",
    "https://salesforce.wd12.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/External_Career_Site",
    "workday/wd5/Workday"
  ],
  "searchText": "engineer",
  "locations": ["Israel", "Ireland", "Remote"],
  "postedWithinDays": 30,
  "maxJobsPerCompany": 200
}
```

**How to find the URL:** open the company's careers page and click "Search jobs". If the address bar shows `myworkdayjobs.com` or `myworkdaysite.com`, copy it. Any job URL from that site also works. Locale prefixes such as `/en-US/` are handled.

### Output

There is one item per job:

```json
{
  "ats": "workday",
  "tenant": "workday",
  "site": "Workday",
  "company": "workday",
  "legalEntity": "Workday Limited",
  "jobId": "JR-0110463",
  "title": "AI Engineer",
  "location": "IRL.Dublin.College Square",
  "locations": [
    "IRL.Dublin.College Square"
  ],
  "country": "Ireland",
  "countryCode": "IE",
  "remoteType": "Flex",
  "isRemote": false,
  "employmentType": "Full Time",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-28",
  "postedOnText": "Posted Today",
  "postedAtApprox": null,
  "validThrough": null,
  "url": "https://workday.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/Workday/job/IRLDublinCollege-Square/AI-Engineer_JR-0110463-1",
  "applyUrl": "https://workday.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/Workday/job/IRLDublinCollege-Square/AI-Engineer_JR-0110463-1/apply",
  "salaryMin": null,
  "salaryMax": null,
  "salaryCurrency": null,
  "salaryPeriod": null,
  "salaryText": null,
  "salarySource": null,
  "descriptionText": "Your work days are brighter here.\n\nWe’re obsessed with making hard work pay off, for our people, our customers, and the …",
  "descriptionHtml": "<p><b>Your work days are brighter here.</b></p><br /><p>We’r…",
  "externalPath": "/job/IRLDublinCollege-Square/AI-Engineer_JR-0110463-1",
  "input": "https://workday.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/Workday",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-28T14:29:32.040Z",
  "error": null
}
```

- `postedAt` is the exact date from the job page. With `includeDescription: false`, only `postedAtApprox` is available, calculated from "Posted 3 Days Ago". Workday shows anything older than 30 days as "30+ Days".
- The `SUMMARY` record in the key-value store shows, for each site, the number of jobs listed and returned, Workday's reported total, our estimated real total and how many facet splits were needed.

### Pricing

Pricing is pay per event: a small Actor-start fee plus a fee per job written to the dataset. Error rows are free. Set *Maximum cost per run* and the Actor stops cleanly at that limit. See the Pricing tab.

### Speed tips

- Use `searchText` and `maxJobsPerCompany` for large employers. Workday filters server-side, which saves time.
- `includeDescription: false` returns only the list fields (title, location text, URL, approximate date, req ID) and is about 20× faster.

### Limits and honest notes

- The Actor works only for career sites hosted on Workday Recruiting. Sites that embed Workday behind a custom domain work if you use the underlying `myworkdayjobs.com` URL.
- Facet splitting recovers nearly all jobs. In our NVIDIA test it got 2,682 of 2,688, about 99.8%. Jobs that have no value in the facet used for splitting can occasionally be missed on sites with more than 2,000 jobs.
- The data is what the employer publishes. Salary appears only where the description states it.
- This endpoint isn't officially documented by Workday. If Workday changes it, the Actor will be updated.

### Legal and data use

Job postings are information that employers publish for the public. The Actor reads only public career-site pages that the site's robots.txt allows. It doesn't log in, bypass protections or collect candidate or employee data. Emails and phone numbers in descriptions are redacted by default. You are responsible for using the data in line with applicable law and the site's terms.

# Actor input Schema

## `careerSiteUrls` (type: `array`):

One per line. Open the company's careers page and copy the URL, e.g. https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite or https://salesforce.wd12.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/External_Career_Site. Also accepts \*.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/{company}/{site} URLs and the shorthand tenant/wdN/site.

## `searchText` (type: `string`):

Optional free-text search run by Workday itself (same as the search box on the career site), e.g. 'data engineer'. Fastest way to narrow big sites.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains at least one of these words (case-insensitive).

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. 'intern', 'senior'.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs where any location or the country contains one of these strings, e.g. 'Israel', 'London', 'Remote'.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs whose remote type or location says remote.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs posted in the last N days. 0 = no limit.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Remember jobs between runs (named key-value store in your account) and return only ones not seen before. Ideal for scheduled job alerts.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Fetch each job's detail page (description, exact posting date, all locations, country, employment type, legal entity, salary parsed from text). Turn off for a fast list of titles, locations and URLs only.

## `redactContacts` (type: `boolean`):

Replace e-mail addresses and phone numbers inside descriptions with \[redacted].

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many matching jobs per career site. 0 = no limit. Tip: set a limit for quick test runs.

## `maxJobsTotal` (type: `integer`):

Stop the run after this many jobs. 0 = no limit.

## `detailConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many job detail pages to fetch at the same time per site (1–10).
