## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Turkey Fuel Prices 🇹🇷⛽

Daily **pump prices for all 81 Turkish provinces** — gasoline (95), diesel, kerosene, heating oil, fuel oil and LPG autogas — with **VAT-included and VAT-excluded** prices, from public Petrol Ofisi price tables. Optional **district-level** granularity per city.

No login, no API key.

### What you get (per province × product)

```json
{
  "level": "province",
  "province": "ANKARA",
  "district": null,
  "product": "V/Max Diesel",
  "category": "diesel",
  "priceWithVat": 80.80,
  "priceWithoutVat": 67.34,
  "unit": "TL/LT",
  "currency": "TRY",
  "source": "Petrol Ofisi",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-08-14T15:00:00.000Z"
}
```

One full run = ~490 records (82 regions × 6 products). District mode adds per-district rows for the cities you choose.

### Use cases

- **Logistics & fleet cost models** — diesel cost per province for route planning and freight pricing
- **Price tracking & alerting** — run daily on a schedule, diff against yesterday, alert on changes
- **Fuel & mobility apps** — seed current Turkish pump prices
- **Economic research** — regional fuel price spreads, tax component analysis (VAT in/ex)

### Input

- `provinces`: filter, e.g. `["istanbul", "ankara"]` — empty = all 81
- `includeDistricts` + `districtCities`: district-level rows per city

### Pricing

Pay per event: you are charged only per price record returned — no subscriptions, no minimums.

### Notes

- Public price pages only; no logins; no personal data.
- Prices are brand list prices (Petrol Ofisi) and change with market conditions — treat as snapshot at `scrapedAt`.
- Issues? Open an issue — response < 24h.

# Actor input Schema

## `provinces` (type: `array`):

Only return these provinces, e.g. \["istanbul", "ankara"]. Empty = all 81 provinces.

## `includeDistricts` (type: `boolean`):

Also crawl per-city pages for district-level prices (see District cities below).

## `districtCities` (type: `array`):

Cities to fetch district-level prices for when 'District-level prices' is on.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy settings. Apify Proxy (automatic) is recommended.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "provinces": [],
  "includeDistricts": false,
  "districtCities": [
    "istanbul",
    "ankara",
    "izmir"
  ],
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
