# Shopify Store Products Scraper (`goodnight-dreams/shopify-store-products`) Actor

Export every product from any Shopify store as clean JSON: title, vendor, price range, availability, images, tags and all variants with SKUs. Works on the store's public catalog, no login or API key. Optionally scrape a single collection or flatten to one row per variant.

## Pricing

$1.00 / 1,000 product records

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Store Products Scraper

Export the full product catalog of any Shopify store as clean JSON, straight from the store's
public catalog endpoint. No login, no API key, no proxies. Give it one or more store domains and
get every product with variants, SKUs, prices, compare-at prices, availability, images, tags,
vendor and product type. Point it at a single collection with `collectionHandle`, or flatten to
one row per variant for spreadsheets and price monitoring.

Works for competitor price tracking, dropshipping research, catalog migration, stock monitoring,
and feeding product data to AI agents.

### What you get

One record per product (or per variant with `flattenVariants`): `store`, `productId`, `title`,
`handle`, `url`, `vendor`, `productType`, `tags`, `priceMin`, `priceMax`, `available`, `images`,
`options`, `createdAt`, `updatedAt`, `publishedAt`, and `variants` (id, title, SKU, price,
compare-at price, availability, weight).

### Limits

Reads the store's public catalog (250 products per page), which contains every product visible in
the online store. Stores that have disabled their public catalog feed (rare) return an error and
are skipped with a warning.

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$1 per 1,000 product records** ($0.001 each). With `flattenVariants` each variant
row counts as one record. A 3,000-product store costs about $3.

### Example input

```json
{ "stores": ["allbirds.com", "shop.gymshark.com"], "flattenVariants": false }
```

# Actor input Schema

## `stores` (type: `array`):

Store domains or URLs, e.g. allbirds.com or https://shop.example.com. Any Shopify storefront with a public catalog works.

## `collectionHandle` (type: `string`):

Scrape only one collection instead of the whole catalog, e.g. mens-shoes (the last part of the /collections/... URL). Applied to every store in the list.

## `flattenVariants` (type: `boolean`):

Instead of one record per product with a variants array, output one record per variant with the product fields repeated. Handy for spreadsheets and price monitoring.

## `maxProductsPerStore` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many products per store. 0 means the whole catalog.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "stores": [
    "allbirds.com"
  ],
  "flattenVariants": false,
  "maxProductsPerStore": 0
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `products` (type: `string`):

Dataset with one record per product (or per variant with flattenVariants).

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "stores": [
        "allbirds.com"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("goodnight-dreams/shopify-store-products").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
