## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

This Apify Actor reads public Google Search result pages and expands the **About this result** panel when available. Each dataset record combines a search result with the source details and relationship information Google displays in that panel. Results without a readable panel are not included.

Each business record describes one result and the source facts Google actually displays: result title, destination, snippet and breadcrumb; source name and explicitly labeled description; raw first-seen or indexing wording; and the panel's complete visible text and sections. Structured relationship details preserve Google's displayed statements about search terms, related terms/content, links, website matches, location, language, publication recency, helpful content types, and explicit-content notices when shown. Terms, locations, source links, and dates are not inferred when Google only provides a general statement. These panel details vary by region and result, so absent facts remain null or empty arrays.

### Input

```json
{
  "queries": ["machine learning"],
  "page": 1,
  "maxPages": 1,
  "maxItems": 10,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": ["RESIDENTIAL"]
  }
}
```

`startUrls` accepts public Google Search URLs, and `query` is a single-phrase alias for `queries`. Use `page`, `maxPages`, and `maxItems` to set the starting page and collection limits. `proxyConfiguration` is optional for public Google requests.

### Output and dataset

Only search results with a readable **About this result** panel are included. If Google blocks a page or the panel is unavailable, the run summary and logs report the issue.

The Actor reads public Google Search pages only and does not bypass access challenges. When `useApifyProxy` is false or no proxy URLs are configured, requests use direct access.

The dataset includes search-result, source-detail, and search-relevance views. `startUrls` must use HTTPS Google Search pages and include a search query (`q`).

The rich record keeps the result card and the visible source context together. In addition to the compatibility aliases `title` and `description`, it includes the result URL structure, organic/sponsored classification, the complete visible panel text and sections, source type and description, first-seen/indexing wording with honest age precision, explicitly matched search terms, classified relationship statements, related-result links, regional and language statements, and Google's help/ad disclosures. Empty or unavailable facts remain `null` or `[]`; the actor does not invent dates, source facts, or locations.

The dataset, run summary, and access diagnostics are available in the Output tab. You can download dataset records in formats such as JSON, HTML, CSV, or Excel.

### Example output

This is a source-backed example shaped from the live Google panel for `NASA official website`. The `aboutResult` object is a structured copy of the same panel facts for consumers that prefer one nested object.
