## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Find public advertiser pages and ads in Google’s Ads Transparency Center. Search by advertiser or provide a public Center URL. The dataset connects each creative to its advertiser and can include visible ad text, format, public media, dates, and other disclosures.

### How to use

1. Search for an advertiser, or provide a public Ads Transparency Center URL in `startUrls`.
2. Set a country or platform and add any advertiser, format, or verification filters.
3. Choose the result and page limits. Enable `includeCreativeDetails` for additional public information about each ad.
4. Run the Actor and view the advertiser and creative records in the dataset.

Example:

```json
{
  "advertiserName": "Example Advertiser",
  "country": "US",
  "platform": "SEARCH",
  "adFormat": "IMAGE",
  "verifiedOnly": true,
  "maxItems": 25,
  "includeCreativeDetails": true
}
```

### Input

| Input | Description | Default |
|---|---|---:|
| `advertiserName` | Advertiser name or website to search. `searchQuery` and `q` are aliases. | `Google` |
| `queries` | Search for several advertisers. `searchKeywords` is an alias. | — |
| `startUrls` | Public Center home, advertiser search, advertiser gallery, or creative detail URLs. `sourceUrls`, `urls`, `url`, and `sourceUrl` are aliases. | — |
| `country` / `region` | Country or region for generated searches and optional filtering, such as `US`, `IN`, `GB`, or `DE`. | `US` |
| `platform` | Filter by a public platform, such as `SEARCH` or `YOUTUBE`. | — |
| `adFormat` | Filter by a public format, such as `TEXT`, `IMAGE`, or `VIDEO`. | — |
| `filterAdvertiserName` | Keep rows whose advertiser name contains this text. | — |
| `verifiedOnly` | Keep only advertisers with a public verified marker. | `false` |
| `maxItems` | Maximum creative records across the run (1–500). `maxResults` is an alias. | 50 |
| `page` / `maxPages` | Search-results page for query searches and maximum gallery scroll rounds. | 1 / 5 |
| `deduplicate` | Remove repeated creative IDs. | `true` |
| `sortBy` | Order results by source, advertiser name, creative ID, or format. | `source` |
| `includeMedia` | Include public Google-hosted image and video URLs and dimensions. | `true` |
| `includeCreativeDetails` | Visit creative pages for additional dates, format, media, and public disclosures. | `false` |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Optional Apify Proxy configuration for public Center pages. | — |

For custom URLs, the supplied pages take precedence over generated advertiser searches. Set `page` for search-result URLs; it applies to query searches and does not change a directly supplied advertiser or creative URL.

### Output

Each dataset record represents a public advertiser and creative, with `advertiserId`, `creativeId`, and `creativeUrl` as its key identifiers. The visible page determines which additional fields are available:

- **Advertiser:** public name, legal name, country, identity-verification status, and displayed ad-count text. Approximate counts are labeled as estimates.
- **Creative:** format, platform, region, visible text, headline, description, and public destination information when shown.
- **Media:** public image and video URLs, dimensions, labels, and media counts when available and enabled.
- **Dates and disclosures:** first or last shown dates, run duration, spend or impression ranges, recipient counts, audience criteria, and variation details when displayed by the Center. These fields are most likely to appear when `includeCreativeDetails` is enabled.

Text is collected only when it is visible in the public ad preview; text is not inferred from an image. Counts and date precision follow the wording shown by the source, and unavailable values are left empty or unknown.

Example dataset item:

```json
{
  "advertiserId": "example-advertiser-id",
  "advertiserName": "Example Advertiser",
  "creativeId": "example-creative-id",
  "creativeUrl": "https://adstransparency.google.com/advertiser/example/creative/example",
  "adFormat": "IMAGE",
  "platform": "SEARCH",
  "region": "US",
  "adText": "Example public ad text",
  "creativeImageUrl": "https://example.com/public-ad-image.jpg",
  "lastShownText": "Sep 1, 2026"
}
```

The Output tab shows the available result fields. Run information and the dataset are available in the Actor’s Output tab.

### Limits and responsible use

Ads and disclosure fields vary by advertiser, country, platform, and what the Center displays. Results are bounded by the configured record and page limits. This Actor is not affiliated with Google. Use the public information responsibly and follow applicable laws and Google’s terms.
