## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Find public Street View panoramas from Google Maps URLs, coordinates, GeoJSON, or a public location query. Each dataset item describes one panorama, with its public identifier, coordinates, page title, camera information, and capture-date details when available.

Coordinate searches select the nearest public panorama within the radius you provide. They do not enumerate every panorama in a circle.

### How to use

1. Provide Street View URLs, coordinates and a radius, GeoJSON coordinates, or a location query.
2. Set the panorama limit.
3. Optionally request a public address or a panorama thumbnail.
4. Run the Actor and view the panorama records in the dataset.

Example: coordinate search

```json
{
  "latLonCoordinatesWithRadius": [
    { "latitude": 40.5107, "longitude": -74.2484, "radius": 100 }
  ],
  "maxItems": 5,
  "includeAddress": true
}
```

Example: provide a Street View page

```json
{
  "streetViewUrls": [
    "https://www.google.com/maps/@40.5107092,-74.248462,18a,75y,90t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sLfOdrDmaJG58_PBskp4axw"
  ],
  "maxItems": 1
}
```

### Input

| Input | Description | Default |
|---|---|---:|
| `streetViewUrls` | Public Google Maps Street View URLs. `urls` and `startUrls` are aliases; `url` accepts one URL. | — |
| `latLonCoordinatesWithRadius` | Coordinate points with a search radius; the nearest matching panorama is returned for each point. | — |
| `geoJSON` | GeoJSON point, multipoint, polygon, feature, or feature collection used as coordinate input. | — |
| `queryString` | Public location text, resolved to coordinates through Nominatim before searching. `query` is an alias. | — |
| `maxItems` | Maximum panorama records to emit across the run. | 25 |
| `resultLimitPerThread` | Additional maximum for unique panorama records across the supplied inputs (1–1,000). | 100 |
| `page` / `maxPages` | Fixed at 1; Street View does not provide supported numbered pages. | 1 / 1 |
| `includeAddress` | Look up a public address for coordinate results. | `false` |
| `scrapePanoramaImages` | Request one Google-exposed panorama thumbnail per panorama. | `false` |
| `panoramaImageResolution` | Requested thumbnail dimensions, such as `512x256`. | `512x256` |
| `renderJavaScript` | Use standard browser rendering to read public Street View pages. | `true` |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Optional proxy configuration for supported requests. | — |

### Output

Each record requires `panoId` and may include:

- **Panorama identity and location:** latitude, longitude, Google Maps URL, and visible place name.
- **Capture information:** capture date or period when shown; the dataset preserves its available precision.
- **Camera and image dimensions:** heading, pitch, roll, field of view, panorama width and height when exposed.
- **Optional enrichment:** address when requested and returned, and thumbnail information when image collection is enabled.

Example dataset item:

```json
{
  "panoId": "LfOdrDmaJG58_PBskp4axw",
  "latitude": 40.5107092,
  "longitude": -74.248462,
  "streetViewUrl": "https://www.google.com/maps/@40.5107092,-74.248462,18a,75y,90t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sLfOdrDmaJG58_PBskp4axw",
  "displayName": "176 Main St",
  "captureDate": null,
  "captureDatePrecision": null,
  "pitch": 90,
  "fieldOfView": 75,
  "panoramaPixelWidth": 16384,
  "panoramaPixelHeight": 8192,
  "panoramaAspectRatio": 2
}
```

Optional values depend on what the public page exposes. A URL or coordinate by itself does not guarantee that a panorama is available. Thumbnail collection is off by default; when enabled, the image must be available from the source and is saved with the run in Apify storage. The Output tab shows the available result fields.

### Limits and responsible use

Google may not have a panorama at the requested location or may restrict a page. Address lookup and image collection add extra work. The Actor does not sign in or bypass access checks.

Use public imagery and location information responsibly and follow applicable privacy requirements and Google Maps terms. This Actor is not affiliated with Google.

# Actor input Schema

## `streetViewUrls` (type: `array`):

Public Google Maps Street View URLs.

## `latLonCoordinatesWithRadius` (type: `array`):

Open Google’s documented public panorama URL at each coordinate, accept only the nearest source panorama inside the radius. Does not enumerate all panoramas in a circle.

## `queryString` (type: `string`):

A public location text query resolved through Nominatim before the public Street View search.

## `geoJSON` (type: `object`):

GeoJSON Point, MultiPoint, Polygon, Feature, or FeatureCollection used as coordinate input.

## `scrapePanoramaImages` (type: `boolean`):

Default off. Download one identity-matching Google-exposed JPEG per panorama, validate actual bytes/dimensions and save a KVS artifact. Missing or denied imagery is diagnostic; no generated URL is claimed as an image.

## `panoramaImageResolution` (type: `string`):

Requested dimensions for a public Street View thumbnail.

## `resultLimitPerThread` (type: `integer`):

Maximum unique public panoramas emitted across all inputs.

## `timeoutMs` (type: `integer`):

Maximum time allowed for each public request.

## `browserWaitMs` (type: `integer`):

Milliseconds to allow the rendered Street View page to populate.

## `maxRetries` (type: `integer`):

Additional attempts for transient public request errors.

## `includeAddress` (type: `boolean`):

Look up a public address for coordinate results through Nominatim.

## `renderJavaScript` (type: `boolean`):

Use ordinary Chromium on the documented public Maps panorama route. A captured source panorama is required; generic map shells never emit rows.

## `urls` (type: `array`):

Compatibility alias for streetViewUrls.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Compatibility alias for streetViewUrls.

## `url` (type: `string`):

Compatibility alias for one Street View URL.

## `query` (type: `string`):

Compatibility alias for queryString.

## `page` (type: `integer`):

Street View has no stable page cursor; only page 1 is supported.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of business records to emit.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Street View has no stable page cursor; use 1. Multiple input coordinates and URLs are processed sequentially.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional permitted proxy for HTTP and ordinary Chromium requests, including the coordinate service and existing geocoder. Residential groups require enabled account access. GOOGLE_SERP supports Search and Shopping pages, not Street View endpoints.
