## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## French Public Tenders Scraper & Monitor (BOAMP)

Get **French public tenders and contract awards** from **BOAMP** (Bulletin officiel des annonces des marchés publics), the official French procurement bulletin, as a clean table you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, or send to your CRM or an AI agent.

BOAMP publishes **about 3,000 notices a week** from ministries, regions, departments, cities, hospitals and public companies. Unlike TED, it also carries the **contracts between €90k and the EU thresholds and small contracts under €90k (MAPA)**, which are never published at European level. That is where most opportunities for small and medium-sized companies are.

### What you can do with it

- **Find contracts to bid on.** Search by keywords (in French), CPV codes, department, contract type (works, services, supplies), size band and minimum value. Keep only tenders that are still open.
- **Get a daily feed of new tenders, straight to Telegram or Slack.** Turn on *Only new notices since the last run*, add a Telegram bot, a Slack webhook or any webhook (Make, Zapier, n8n), and schedule the Actor. You never pay twice for the same notice.
- **See who wins what.** Pull award notices (*résultats de marché*) to see winners and awarded values by buyer and sector.

### How to use it

1. Enter **keywords** in French (for example `nettoyage`, `maîtrise d'œuvre`, `logiciel`), **CPV codes**, or both.
2. Optionally pick **departments** (`75`, `92`, `06`, `2A`, `971`…), **notice types**, **contract types**, **size bands**, a **date range** or a **minimum value**.
3. Click **Start**, then download the results as Excel, CSV or JSON, or connect them to Google Sheets, Make, Zapier or n8n.

#### Example inputs

Open cleaning tenders in Île-de-France, all sizes:

```json
{
  "keywords": ["nettoyage", "propreté"],
  "departments": ["75", "77", "78", "91", "92", "93", "94", "95"],
  "noticeTypes": ["APPEL_OFFRE"],
  "openOnly": true
}
```

A daily Telegram alert for small works contracts (under €90k) in Brittany:

```json
{
  "departments": ["22", "29", "35", "56"],
  "contractTypes": ["TRAVAUX"],
  "thresholdBands": ["small"],
  "monitorMode": true,
  "telegramBotToken": "<your bot token>",
  "telegramChatId": "<your chat id>"
}
```

IT contract awards above €200k last month, to see who won:

```json
{
  "cpvCodes": ["72000000", "48000000"],
  "noticeTypes": ["ATTRIBUTION"],
  "minValue": 200000,
  "publishedFrom": "2026-09-01",
  "publishedTo": "2026-09-30"
}
```

### What you get

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `noticeId`, `publicationDate` | BOAMP notice number and publication date |
| `noticeType`, `noticeTypeLabel`, `status` | Open tender, award, correction, cancellation… |
| `title`, `description` | What is being bought |
| `buyerName`, `departments` | The public buyer and its department(s) |
| `contractTypes`, `thresholdBand`, `procedure` | Works / services / supplies; size band; open, adapted, negotiated procedure… |
| `categories`, `cpvMain`, `cpvCodes` | BOAMP categories and CPV codes |
| `deadline`, `deadlineAt` | Bid deadline (date, and exact time) |
| `estimatedValue`, `awardedValue`, `currency` | Values in euros, when the buyer published them |
| `winners` | Award notices only |
| `contractDuration`, `contractStart`, `contractEnd` | Contract period, when given |
| `environmentalOrSocialCriteria` | Whether environmental or social criteria apply |
| `linkedNotice`, `noticeUrl` | The related earlier notice, and the notice on boamp.fr |

**Compact output** (`"outputMode": "compact"`) returns only the essentials per notice: ID, date, type, title, buyer, departments, CPV, deadline, values, winners and link.

### Pricing

You pay **per notice saved**: **$2.50 per 1,000 notices**. Alerts are free, and there is no monthly fee. Set **Max notices** or a spending limit and the Actor stops exactly there.

### Tips

- **Keywords are matched by BOAMP's own full-text search**, in French and across the whole notice. Add synonyms (`nettoyage`, `propreté`, `entretien des locaux`) for better coverage.
- **Small (MAPA) notices often have no CPV code and no value.** Use keywords and departments rather than CPV or minimum value to find them.
- **Values are in euros**, as published by the buyer. Many notices don't state a value.

### FAQ

**Where does the data come from?**
From BOAMP's official open data API, published by DILA (Direction de l'information légale et administrative). No scraping of web pages.

**Is it legal to use this data?**
Yes. BOAMP data is published under the French *Licence Ouverte / Open Licence*, which allows commercial reuse with attribution.

**Does it collect personal data?**
No contact names, emails or phone numbers are included. The Actor returns the buyer organisation and its department.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Full-text search (in French) across the notice. A notice matches if it contains any of these words, for example \["nettoyage", "propreté"].

## `cpvCodes` (type: `array`):

Common Procurement Vocabulary codes, like 45000000 (construction work) or 72000000 (IT services). Child codes are included. Small (MAPA) notices often have no CPV code, so they are skipped when this filter is used; use keywords for them.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

French department numbers where the buyer is located, like 75, 92, 06, 2A or 971. Leave empty for all of France.

## `noticeTypes` (type: `array`):

'Open tenders' are calls for bids; 'Awards' name the winners.

## `contractTypes` (type: `array`):

Works, services or supplies. Leave empty for all.

## `thresholdBands` (type: `array`):

BOAMP publishes three bands: European-threshold contracts (also on TED), contracts between €90k and the EU thresholds, and small contracts under €90k (MAPA). The last two are not on TED. Leave empty for all.

## `daysBack` (type: `integer`):

Used when 'Published from' is empty.

## `publishedFrom` (type: `string`):

Only notices published on or after this date.

## `publishedTo` (type: `string`):

Only notices published on or before this date.

## `openOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Skip tenders whose submission deadline has passed.

## `minValue` (type: `integer`):

Only notices whose estimated value (or awarded value for awards) is at least this many euros. Many French notices don't publish a value; they are skipped when this is set.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many notices. Leave empty to get every match.

## `outputMode` (type: `string`):

'Full' gives every field. 'Compact' gives a short row per notice, handy for spreadsheets, alerts and AI agents.

## `monitorMode` (type: `boolean`):

Remember what earlier runs of this same search returned and save only notices published since. Schedule the Actor daily to get a feed of new tenders and pay only for new ones.

## `telegramBotToken` (type: `string`):

Send a digest of the saved notices to Telegram. Create a bot with @BotFather and paste its token here.

## `telegramChatId` (type: `string`):

Chat, group or channel to send the digest to. Add the bot to it first.

## `slackWebhookUrl` (type: `string`):

Send the digest to a Slack channel through an incoming webhook.

## `webhookUrl` (type: `string`):

POST the digest as JSON to any URL, for example a Make, Zapier or n8n webhook.

## `notifyWhenEmpty` (type: `boolean`):

Also send a message when a run finds no notices.
