## Pricing

from $2.10 / 1,000 inspections

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

The **Las Vegas restaurant inspections scraper** gives you one row per restaurant inspection for **Las Vegas & Clark County, NV**, straight from the **Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD)** official developer download. No login or coding needed: run it in your browser, on a schedule, or through the Apify API, and export results as **JSON, CSV or Excel**.

Get food-establishment inspections in **Clark County, NV** (Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, Mesquite and more) as clean JSON (default window: the last 30 days; set `inspectedSince` for older history): grade, demerits, result, violation descriptions, current and previous grade, and coordinates. **Monitor mode** returns only inspections not delivered in an earlier run (only rows actually delivered are marked as seen), so you can schedule it daily and send alerts to Slack, email or n8n.

**Who uses it**

- Food-safety consultants and restaurant suppliers targeting recent C grades and closures (grade `X`)
- Hospitality groups watching their own locations and competitors on the Strip
- Delivery, review and data apps that need Southern Nevada grades

### How to scrape Las Vegas restaurant inspections

1. Click **Try for free** (or **Start**) on this page. A free Apify account is enough.
2. Leave the prefilled input to get a quick sample, or set the filters described below.
3. Set **maxItems** to cap how many rows (and how much) a run returns.
4. Click **Start** and wait a few seconds to a minute.
5. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or connect them to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or a webhook.

### Input

`cities` (exact city name, case- and space-insensitive; `Las Vegas` does not include `North Las Vegas`), `zipCodes`, `nameContains`, `grades` (A/B/C/X…), `minDemerits`, `inspectedSince` (real YYYY-MM-DD date, default: last 30 days), `includeViolations`, `monitorMode` and `monitorKey`, `maxItems`.

### Output (one row per inspection)

`inspectionId, permitNumber, restaurantName, locationName, category, address, city, zip, latitude, longitude, inspectionDate, inspectionType, grade, demerits, result, violationCount, violations[{code, demerits, description}], currentGrade, currentGradeDate, previousGrade`

### Data source & responsible use

The data comes from the Southern Nevada Health District's official **developer download**, which is published for developers and updated nightly (southernnevadahealthdistrict.org › Restaurant Inspections › Developers). Each run makes one download. Inspector names and owner IDs are removed before output. The latitude and longitude columns are swapped in the source file; the Actor corrects this. Not affiliated with SNHD.

### Pricing (pay per event)

$3 per 1,000 inspections ($0.003 each), plus Apify's minimal $0.00005 start fee. **Example:** the default 1,000 inspections cost about $3.00. If a run hits your max charge limit, it stops cleanly and reports how many rows it delivered.

### Source, license & data caveats

Data is provided as published by SNHD (nightly developer download). Inspector names and owner IDs are removed.

### FAQ

#### How much does it cost to scrape Las Vegas restaurant inspections?

You pay $0.003 per result ($3 per 1,000) plus a $0.00005 start fee, and nothing else. Apify's free plan includes $5 of monthly credit, which covers about 1,600 results. See **Pricing** above for a worked example.

#### Is it legal to scrape Las Vegas restaurant inspections?

This Actor reads public records from the **Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD)** official developer download, using only public endpoints (no login, no CAPTCHA bypass, no private accounts). See the source/license section above for the dataset's terms. You are responsible for how you use the data; this is not legal advice.

#### How fresh is the data?

Each run reads the source live, so you get whatever the agency has published at that moment. How often the agency updates, and any known lag, is described in the data caveats/notes section above.

#### Can I use it via API, on a schedule, or with Google Sheets?

Yes. Every Apify Actor has a REST API and client libraries for Python and JavaScript. You can schedule daily or weekly runs, and send results to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Make, n8n, webhooks, or an AI agent via the Apify MCP server.

#### I need another city, county or field. Can you add it?

Open an issue on the **Issues** tab with the city or data source you need. We build new public-records scrapers regularly.
