## Pricing

from $150.00 / 1,000 scored role with pitches

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Hiring-Signal Automation Leads

**$0.50 per job market scan + $0.15 per scored role with pitch. Example: 17 qualified roles = $3.05. You pay no role fee for jobs that do not qualify.**

Find local businesses paying $35-75K a year for desk work an AI agent can do, with the savings math and the pitch already written.

### What does Hiring-Signal Automation Leads do?

Indeed desk-job postings open 14+ days -> automation score -> payroll savings -> decision-maker -> pitch, n8n workflow and demo outline.

### Who is it for?

AI automation agencies, voice-AI resellers, and new AI businesses that need warm, provable reasons to call a business owner.

### How it works

1. Pulls fresh Indeed postings for receptionist, front desk, scheduler, dispatcher, intake, data entry, billing and appointment-setter roles in your city.
2. Scores each role 0-100 for how much of the job an AI agent can take over, and boosts roles that have sat open 14+ or 30+ days.
3. Estimates the salary, loaded payroll cost and yearly savings, then suggests a setup fee and monthly retainer.
4. Finds the owner, CEO or GM from public search results (company-matched; low-confidence matches are dropped).
5. Writes a LinkedIn DM, email, follow-up, the n8n + Claude workflow you would build, and a 10-minute demo outline.

### How much does it cost?

| Event | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Job market scan | $0.50 | Indeed desk-job postings in your area pulled and scored for automation. Charged once per run. |
| Scored role with pitch | $0.15 | One qualified open role with automation score, savings math, decision-maker (when found) and pitch copy. |

Indeed postings and Google lookups run on your Apify account (about $0.01 per 100 jobs and $0.0045 per lookup). Every sub-run gets a hard spend cap (`maxUpstreamSpendUsd`), and you can set a maximum charge per run in the Console.

### Sample output (live run, Richmond, VA)

| automationScore | employer | jobTitle | daysOpen | annualSavingsEstimate | suggestedSetupFee | suggestedMonthlyRetainer | decisionMakerTitle |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 90 | Dentists of Richmond | Front Desk Receptionist | 22 | 44,800 | 11,000 | 750 |  |
| 84 | Virginia Family Dentistry | Dental Front Desk Scheduler | 14 | 39,300 | 10,000 | 650 | CEO |
| 95 | Commonwealth Vector Control | Customer Service Representative (Inside Sales) | 513 | 31,200 | 8,000 | 500 |  |

### Input example

```json
{
  "location": "Richmond, VA"
}
```

### Output

- Dataset: one row per result (table view in the Console, or JSON/CSV/Excel via API).
- Key-value store `LEADS_CSV`: Leads as CSV

### Why this instead of a plain scraper?

Plain Indeed scrapers (valig/indeed-jobs-scraper, borderline/indeed-scraper) give you raw postings. B2B trigger tools (seibs.co/b2b-sales-triggers) flag hiring but don't score automation, size the savings or write the pitch. This does all of it in one run.

### Use it from n8n, Make, GoHighLevel, Claude or Cursor

- n8n or Make: add an HTTP Request step that POSTs your input JSON to the API endpoint below and returns the dataset items.
- MCP: add `https://mcp.apify.com/?actors=growth-installations/hiring-signal-automation-leads` to Claude, Cursor or any MCP client.
- API: `POST https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/growth-installations~hiring-signal-automation-leads/run-sync-get-dataset-items` with header `Authorization: Bearer <your Apify API token>`

### FAQ

**Do I need my own API keys?** No. Only your Apify account.

**Can I bring my own data?** Yes. Paste JSON into the "Bring your own" field and the scrape is skipped.

**Is the data public?** Everything comes from public listings, postings and pages.

# Actor input Schema

## `location` (type: `string`):

Where to look, e.g. 'Richmond, VA'.

## `roles` (type: `array`):

Leave empty for the default desk roles (receptionist, scheduler, dispatcher, data entry, intake, billing, appointment setter, customer service).

## `maxJobs` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit on Indeed postings pulled and scored in this run (10-1000). Roles that pass your filters are charged $0.15 each; the rest are free.

## `minDaysOpen` (type: `integer`):

Skip postings that have been live for fewer days than this. Roles left open 14+ days signal a business struggling to hire, which is the strongest pitch. Use 0 to include every posting.

## `minScore` (type: `integer`):

Only return roles whose automation score (0-100, how much of the job an AI agent can take over) is at least this high. Raise it for fewer, stronger leads.

## `minSalary` (type: `integer`):

Optional, e.g. 50000 for the $50-75K sweet spot.

## `maxSalary` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Skip postings that advertise a yearly salary above this, e.g. 75000. Leave empty for no upper limit.

## `maxEmployerSize` (type: `integer`):

Skip employers with more staff than this (when Indeed lists company size). Smaller businesses decide faster and buy automation from agencies.

## `findDecisionMakers` (type: `boolean`):

Look up the owner, CEO or GM for each qualified role from public Google results. Low-confidence matches are left blank rather than guessed.

## `maxDecisionMakerLookups` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit on decision-maker lookups per run (each is about $0.0045 of Google search on your account). Highest-scoring roles are looked up first.

## `maxLeads` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many qualified roles. Each one is charged $0.15, so this also caps the per-role fee.

## `agencyName` (type: `string`):

Your agency or company name. It appears in the LinkedIn DM, email and demo outline written for each lead.

## `senderName` (type: `string`):

Your first name, used to sign the email and follow-up. Leave empty to leave the sign-off blank.

## `jobsDataset` (type: `array`):

Optional: Indeed-style job objects. Skips the scrape.

## `maxUpstreamSpendUsd` (type: `number`):

Hard cap passed to the Indeed and Google sub-runs.
