## Pricing

from $5.00 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## 10times Events Scraper — Trade Shows & Conferences

Scrape **trade shows, conferences and exhibitions** from **10times.com** — the world's largest event-discovery database (200K+ events, 100+ industries). Get name, dates, venue, location, categories and price as clean JSON/CSV/Excel.

Great for **B2B event intelligence**, **exhibitor/attendee lead generation**, **market research**, **sponsorship prospecting** and **event calendars**.

### How it works (the Cloudflare trick)

10times.com is behind **Cloudflare Turnstile** — datacenter and ordinary residential IPs get walled, and a plain HTTP client (even with a perfect TLS fingerprint) can't clear it. This actor drives **Camoufox**, an **anti-detect Firefox**, through a **US residential proxy**: it clears the Cloudflare challenge once, then reads each listing page and flattens both the **JSON-LD (schema.org/Event)** and the DOM event cards into one clean row per event.

### What you get per event

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `name`, `description` | Event name & tagline |
| `categories` | Industry categories |
| `startDate`, `endDate`, `status` | When & status |
| `venue`, `city`, `region`, `country` | Where |
| `streetAddress`, `latitude`, `longitude` | Full address & coordinates |
| `isVirtual` | Virtual event flag |
| `price`, `priceCurrency` | Ticket price when published |
| `image`, `url`, `eventId` | Logo, 10times URL & id |

### Input

```json
{
  "startUrls": ["https://10times.com/newyork-us", "https://10times.com/technology"],
  "maxPages": 3
}
```

or use slugs:

```json
{ "location": ["newyork-us", "medical-pharma"], "maxPages": 3 }
```

- **startUrls** — any 10times listing URL (a city, an industry, a top list, a search).
- **location** — 10times slugs (`newyork-us`, `berlin-de`, `technology`…), each becomes `https://10times.com/{slug}`.
- **maxPages / maxItems** — caps per listing and overall (~50 events per page).

### Notes

- **US residential proxy required** (the default). 10times geo/anti-bot walls other traffic; the actor uses Camoufox to clear Cloudflare.
- Uses an anti-detect browser, so it's heavier than a pure-HTTP scraper — keep page counts modest.
- 10times throttles **deep pagination**, so later pages are best-effort; page 1 is the most reliable.
- Cloudflare/site changes can affect it; the actor clears the challenge and parses JSON-LD + DOM, but may need occasional updates.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

10times.com listing pages to scrape — a city (e.g. https://10times.com/newyork-us), an industry (https://10times.com/technology), a top list or a search result. Paste the URL(s), one per line.

## `location` (type: `array`):

Instead of full URLs, give 10times location/industry slugs, e.g. `newyork-us`, `berlin-de`, `london-gb`, `technology`, `medical-pharma`. Each becomes https://10times.com/{slug}.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

How many pages to paginate per listing (~50 events per page). Note: 10times throttles deep pagination, so later pages are best-effort.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of events to save across all listings. 0 = no limit.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

US RESIDENTIAL proxy is required — 10times serves empty listings to datacenter IPs even after Cloudflare clears. Keep the default. The actor keeps proxy cost low by blocking images, media and fonts (≈85% less traffic).

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://10times.com/newyork-us",
    "https://10times.com/technology"
  ],
  "location": [
    "newyork-us",
    "technology"
  ],
  "maxPages": 3,
  "maxItems": 0,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ],
    "apifyProxyCountry": "US"
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `events` (type: `string`):

Trade shows, conferences & exhibitions scraped from 10times.com — name, dates, venue, location, categories and price.
