## Pricing

from $3.00 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Resy Scraper — Restaurants & Real-Time Availability 🍽️

Scrape **[Resy](https://resy.com)** restaurants and their **real-time reservation availability**. Search a city by keyword/cuisine and get each restaurant's details plus the **open slots** (time + table type) for your date and party size.

No login, no API key, no browser. Export to JSON, CSV, Excel, HTML or XML.

### What you get (per restaurant)

- **Name, cuisine, price range, neighborhood, locality**
- **Rating + review count**, coordinates, Resy URL
- **availableSlots** — open reservation times with table type (Dining Room, Bar, Patio, Counter…) + booking token
- **hasAvailability / slotCount** for the chosen date & party size

### Use cases

- **Reservation monitoring** — track when hard-to-book restaurants open tables.
- **Dining market research** — restaurants by cuisine, price, neighborhood and rating.
- **Concierge / travel tools** — find available tables for a date & party size.
- **Competitive analysis** — availability patterns across a city.

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|-------|------|-------------|
| `searchQuery` | string | Keyword/cuisine or restaurant name. Empty = all in the city. |
| `city` | string | City name (new york, los angeles, san francisco, chicago, miami, london…). |
| `latitude` / `longitude` | string | Optional exact coordinates (override city). |
| `day` | string | Date `YYYY-MM-DD` to check availability (default: 2 days out). |
| `partySize` | integer | Number of guests (default 2). |
| `checkAvailability` | boolean | Fetch open slots (default on). Off = faster restaurant-only list. |
| `maxVenues` | integer | Max restaurants. |

#### Example input

```json
{ "searchQuery": "italian", "city": "new york", "day": "2026-10-25", "partySize": 2, "checkAvailability": true, "maxVenues": 50 }
```

### Output (example)

```json
{
  "venueId": 443, "name": "Eccolo Italian Restaurant", "cuisine": ["Italian"],
  "priceRange": 1, "neighborhood": "Hell's Kitchen", "locality": "New York",
  "rating": 4.43, "ratingCount": 260, "url": "https://resy.com/cities/ny/venues/eccolo",
  "day": "2026-10-25", "partySize": 2, "hasAvailability": true, "slotCount": 50,
  "availableSlots": [
    { "time": "2026-10-25 16:00:00", "type": "Dining Room", "token": "rgs://resy/…", "sizeMin": 1, "sizeMax": 2 }
  ],
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-17T12:00:00.000Z"
}
```

### How it works

The actor searches Resy's venue index for your city + keyword, then queries each restaurant's live availability for the chosen date and party size — all over fast HTTP using Resy's public web key. Turn off `checkAvailability` for a quick restaurant-only list.

### Legal & ethical use

Collects **publicly available** restaurant and availability data from Resy. Use responsibly and in line with Resy's Terms and applicable law.
