## Pricing

from $2.00 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Truth Social Scraper — Profiles & Posts (Truths) 📣

Scrape **[Truth Social](https://truthsocial.com)** — profiles and their posts ("Truths"). For any handle you get the **profile** (followers, bio, verified) and every **Truth** with its **text, media, replies, ReTruths and likes**. Just paste handles or profile URLs.

No login, no API key, no browser. Pure HTTP. Export to **JSON, CSV, Excel, HTML or XML** or pull from the API.

> **Residential proxy required.** Truth Social is behind Cloudflare; this actor passes it with a residential proxy (defaults to Apify Residential, US) and retries automatically.

***

### What you get

**Per profile:** username, display name, followers, following, total Truths, verified, bio, avatar, created date.

**Per Truth (post):**

- **Text** and **media** (image/video URLs)
- **Engagement** — replies, ReTruths (reblogs), favourites (likes)
- **Type** — original, reply, ReTruth, quote
- Hashtags, mentions, language, post URL and timestamp
- Author fields (followers etc.) embedded on every row

### Use cases

- **Political & media monitoring** — track what key accounts post and how it performs.
- **Social listening & sentiment** — collect posts and engagement over time.
- **Research & journalism** — build datasets of public Truth Social activity.
- **Influencer / account analysis** — followers, posting cadence and engagement.
- **Archiving** — snapshot an account's Truths.

### How it works

Truth Social is built on a Mastodon fork, so the actor reads its public REST API over HTTP through a residential proxy (which passes Cloudflare), looks up each account and pages through its posts — de-duplicating as it goes.

***

### FAQ

**Do I need a Truth Social account?** No — no login or API key.

**Why residential proxy?** Truth Social uses Cloudflare; datacenter IPs get challenged. Residential IPs pass; the actor retries automatically.

**Can I get just the profile?** Yes — set `maxPosts` to 0.

**Replies and ReTruths?** Toggle with `includeReplies` and `includeReblogs`.

**Followers / search / trends?** Those require a logged-in account and are not scraped.

***

### Legal & ethical use

This actor collects **publicly available** data from Truth Social. Posts can contain personal data — use the output responsibly and in line with Truth Social's Terms and applicable laws (GDPR/CCPA). You are responsible for how you use it.

# Actor input Schema

## `usernames` (type: `array`):

Truth Social handles (e.g. <b>realDonaldTrump</b>) or profile URLs (<b>https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump</b>). Each profile and its Truths are scraped.

## `maxPosts` (type: `integer`):

Max Truths to collect per profile. Set to <b>0</b> to scrape the profile only (no posts).

## `includeReplies` (type: `boolean`):

Include the user's replies, not just top-level Truths.

## `includeReblogs` (type: `boolean`):

Include ReTruths (reposts of other accounts).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

<b>Residential proxy required</b> — Truth Social uses Cloudflare, which blocks datacenter IPs. Defaults to Apify Residential (US).

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "usernames": [
    "realDonaldTrump"
  ],
  "maxPosts": 100,
