### What does this Pinterest keyword research tool do?

Pinterest is a search engine. People type words into its search bar, and Pinterest suggests what others search for. This tool collects those suggestions in a smart way:

1. It searches your keyword alone.
2. It searches your keyword with every letter (a to z) and every number (0 to 9).
3. It opens each keyword it found and searches again, like the branches of a tree. `fall nails` leads to `fall nails short`, which leads to `fall nails short almond`.
4. It reads the **Pinterest search volume** of every keyword.
5. It builds a report with topics, categories, post ideas, a keyword wheel and a mind map.

You get keywords with 2, 3, 4 and more words. Long keywords are specific, and they are usually the easiest to rank for.

### Pinterest search volume: where the numbers come from

Many people ask how to see search volume on Pinterest. Pinterest publishes a number on its public idea pages: "N people searched this". This tool reads that number for every keyword.

Honest note: Pinterest does not say which period its number covers, so do not read it as "monthly searches". Use it to compare keywords with each other, which is what keyword research needs.

### How to find Pinterest keywords with this tool

1. Type your keyword in **Seed keywords**, for example `fall nails`, `home decor` or `chicken recipes`. One keyword per line, up to 100.
2. Choose how deep to search:
   - **Standard**: about 350 keywords per seed, about 30 seconds.
   - **Deep**: about 3,000 keywords per seed, 3 to 9 minutes.
   - **Maximum** and **Full tree**: everything Pinterest has, 15 minutes and more.
3. Press **Start**.

One keyword per line, 1 to 6 words each. Example: pioneer woman, slow cooker chicken, fall nails. Any language works.

## `depth` (type: `string`):

Start with Quick to see the tool. Pinterest shows only 12 suggestions per search, so most keywords are hidden: Deep searches every keyword again for its own children (pioneer woman > pioneer woman chili > pioneer woman chili mac) and digs by letter wherever Pinterest has more. Results appear in the table while the run is still working.

## `keywordTree` (type: `boolean`):

Each keyword found is searched again to get the longer keywords under it. Turn off to dig by letters only.

## `searchVolume` (type: `string`):

Adds the number Pinterest shows on its Ideas pages ("N people searched this") and the keyword's category. The number is worldwide and long-term; Pinterest does not publish the exact period. Not every keyword has one.

## `estimateMissing` (type: `boolean`):

Many long keywords have no published number. Pinterest still ranks them with a popularity score, and that score follows the real numbers very closely (tested on 414 keywords: half of the estimates are within x1.22 of the real number, 90% within x1.56). Estimated numbers are always marked as estimated. Available on paid Apify plans.

Searches "keyword a", "keyword b" ... "keyword z". Arabic seeds use the Arabic alphabet.

## `includeNumbers` (type: `boolean`):

Searches "a keyword", "b keyword" ... Finds words people put in front, like "easy" or "best".

Optional. Each word is added after the keyword, like "keyword christmas".

Pinterest sometimes suggests related phrases that drop one of your words. Turn this on to remove them.
