## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby & Workable

Scrape **job postings from Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable** career pages in one run. Paste careers URLs or plain company names, and the Actor detects the applicant tracking system (ATS) automatically, then returns one clean, unified schema for every platform. It uses the boards' official public JSON APIs, so it's fast, reliable and needs no proxy.

### Use cases

- **Job boards and aggregators:** keep listings fresh from thousands of companies.
- **Recruiters and sales teams:** spot companies that are hiring (a strong buying signal).
- **Job seekers:** monitor target companies for new roles by keyword, location or remote status.
- **Market research:** track hiring trends by department, location and salary.

### Input

- **Companies:** `https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb`, `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir`, `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp`, `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface/`, or a slug like `airbnb`. You can force a platform with `lever:palantir`.
- **Filters:** title keywords, excluded keywords, locations, departments, remote only, posted within N days, and max jobs per company.
- **Output:** plain-text description (on by default) and optional HTML.

### Output example

```json
{
  "platform": "ashby",
  "company": "ramp",
  "title": "Security Engineer, Cloud",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "location": "New York, NY (HQ)",
  "allLocations": ["New York, NY (HQ)", "Remote (US)", "Miami, FL"],
  "isRemote": true,
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "salary": "$211.4K - $290.6K",
  "postedAt": "2026-04-07T17:12:35.753Z",
  "jobUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-...",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-.../application",
  "descriptionText": "ABOUT RAMP ..."
}
```

Fields a platform doesn't publish (for example, salary on most Greenhouse boards) are `null`. Nothing is guessed. Companies with no board found come back as a row with an `error` field.

### FAQ

**How do I find a company's slug?** Open their careers page. It's the part after `greenhouse.io/`, `lever.co/`, `ashbyhq.com/` or `workable.com/`.
**Does it support other ATSs?** Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable today.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Careers board URLs (boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, jobs.lever.co/palantir, jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp, apply.workable.com/huggingface) or plain company slugs ("airbnb") — slugs are auto-detected across all four platforms. You can also force a platform with "lever:palantir".

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these words (e.g. engineer, data, sales).

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words (e.g. intern, senior).

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location contains any of these (e.g. London, Germany, Remote).

## `departments` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs in departments or teams containing any of these words.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked remote.

Add the plain-text job description to each row.

## `includeDescriptionHtml` (type: `boolean`):

Add the original HTML job description.
