## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## eBay & Vinted Sold Prices

What did it **actually sell for**? This actor returns real sold prices for **eBay US** and **Vinted** (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Poland): the median, the typical range, sell-through, and the individual sales behind them.

No login, no cookies, no proxies to configure — it reads from the [Comps](https://swanum.com/comps?ref=apify) sold-price history.

### How the data is collected

- **eBay US** — listings are followed until they end, and the final page is read. A sale is recorded only when eBay's own page says it sold. **Best Offer sales are excluded by default**: eBay hides the accepted offer and shows the asking price, which overstates the market.
- **Vinted** — new listings are sampled and re-checked on a schedule; a sale is recorded only when Vinted's own "Sold" status appears.
- Seller and buyer data are never collected.

### Input

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Search terms | `playstation 5`, `levis 501` (whole-word title match) |
| Marketplace | eBay US or a Vinted country |
| Condition | any / new / used |
| Look-back window | up to 90 days (eBay), 365 (Vinted) |
| Exclude words (eBay) | `box only, broken, for parts` |

### Output

One `summary` row per search term:

```json
{"type":"summary","query":"iphone 13","source":"ebay US","sales":20,"currency":"USD",
 "median":200.5,"p25":167.38,"p75":293.75,"medianWithShipping":208.5,"sellThrough":0.71}
```

…followed by one `sale` row per individual sale (title, price, currency, condition, sold date, listing type, bids, link).

`sellThrough` is sold ÷ ended listings — 0.71 means 71% of tracked listings that ended actually sold.

### Coverage — please read

This is a **tracked history**, not a copy of eBay's sold search. Popular items (consoles, phones, sneakers, big fashion brands) are well covered; niche items may return few or no sales. Every term you search moves up the crawl queue, so a thin result today usually fills in over the following days. Vinted coverage is newer and thinner than eBay's.

### Free web version

The same numbers are available as a free lookup at **[swanum.com/comps](https://swanum.com/comps?ref=apify)**, and as a JSON API.

Independent; not affiliated with eBay or Vinted.
