## Pricing

from $1.60 / 1,000 job scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Jobs Scraper

Scrape job listings from **Google Jobs** (the jobs panel in Google Search) for any keyword, city and country. Google aggregates postings from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, company career pages and hundreds of niche boards, so one search returns jobs from all of them. The result is clean JSON with the full description, salary, job type and **direct apply links** for each job.

**$2 per 1,000 jobs, lower on higher Apify plans.** You pay only for the jobs you get, with no start fee and no charge for empty searches.

### What you get for each job

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `title` | Staff Product Data Analyst, Fraud & Surveillance |
| `companyName` | NinjaTrader |
| `location` | Chicago, IL |
| `via` | Built In Chicago (the board Google shows first) |
| `salary` | 162K–212K a year (as shown, when the posting discloses it) |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod` | 162000, 212000, USD, YEAR (parsed) |
| `jobType` | Full-time |
| `postedAt`, `postedAtDate` | 4 days ago, 2026-09-25 |
| `workFromHome` | true / false |
| `description` | full plain-text job description (HTML optional) |
| `highlights` | qualifications, responsibilities and benefits as extracted by Google (English UI) |
| `applyOptions` | every "Apply on …" link with its real URL: LinkedIn, Indeed, company site… |
| `sourceUrl` | the original posting |
| `googleJobsUrl` | link to the job in Google Jobs |
| `benefits` | badges such as "Health insurance", "Paid time off" |
| `noDegreeMentioned` | true when Google flags "No degree mentioned" |
| `tags` | any other badges Google shows |
| `searchQuery`, `searchLocation`, `country`, `page`, `scrapedAt` | where the row came from |

### How to use

1. Enter one or more **search terms** ("data analyst", "registered nurse").
2. Optionally enter **locations** ("Chicago", "Houston"). Every term is combined with every location.
3. Pick the **country** and **language** of Google. 16 countries, each tested: US, UK, Canada, India, Singapore, South Africa, UAE, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Brazil, Mexico.
4. Choose **pages per search** (default 10). Each page holds about 10 jobs, and Google usually runs out after about 10 pages.
5. Run it and export the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or call the Actor through the API.

### Use cases

- **Lead generation for recruiters and staffing agencies**: find companies hiring for the roles you place.
- **Job boards and aggregators**: keep listings fresh with direct apply links.
- **Labor-market and salary research**: track demand, disclosed pay ranges and job types by city.
- **Sales intelligence**: hiring for a role or a tool is a strong buying signal.
- **AI agents**: structured, deduplicated job data via the Apify API or MCP.

### Pricing

**$0.002 per job ($2 per 1,000 jobs)**, pay per event, with volume discounts on higher Apify plans (down to $1.60 per 1,000). Jobs are deduplicated inside a run, so you never pay twice for the same posting in one run. Use **Max jobs** to cap your spend.

### FAQ

**How many jobs does one search return?** About 10 per page, so up to about 100 per search term and location. For more coverage, add more locations or related terms. Duplicates across searches in one run are removed and never charged.

**Which countries work?** The 16 countries in the Country list — every one is tested. Google Jobs is not available in some countries (e.g. Australia, Ireland, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Sweden), so they are not offered. Match the language to the country for best results.

**What if a search finds nothing?** You pay nothing for it. If 10 searches in a row return nothing, the run stops so a typo doesn't burn through a large input.

**Why are some fields empty?** `salary`, `postedAt`, `benefits` and `highlights` appear only when Google shows them for that posting. Google often skips highlights (e.g. for most UK postings), and they are parsed for the English interface only. The full `description` is always there.

**Is it legal?** The Actor collects publicly available job postings. You are responsible for how you use the data. Check the terms of the sites involved and the laws that apply to you, especially if you process personal data.
