## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## App Store Scraper — Apps, Search & Reviews, No Login

Get Apple App Store apps — by link, id, bundle id, search word or developer — with their rating, number of ratings, price, version history, genres, size and screenshots. Switch on reviews and get the written customer reviews of every app, from as many countries as you like. No login, no browser, no Apple developer account.

**Why this one**

- 📱 **Apps and reviews in one run.** Search `habit tracker`, add a competitor's App Store link and a developer, switch on reviews — one run delivers every app and its reviews, each row labelled.
- 🌍 **More reviews than one feed gives.** Apple hands out at most 500 reviews per app, country and order. This Actor reads the newest *and* the most helpful, from every country you list: in a live test, Spotify gave 950 reviews from the US and 949 from the UK in one run.
- 🕳️ **No silent gaps.** Apple's review feed has holes — whole pages that come back empty although there are reviews after them. This Actor asks an empty page again from another IP and reads on to the last page, instead of stopping at the first gap.
- 🔒 **No personal data.** Reviews are delivered without reviewer names.
- 💸 **You pay only for what is delivered.** An unknown app, a search with no results or a country with no reviews comes back as a free record with the reason.

### What you get

```
### How to use it
1. Add **Apps** (App Store links, ids or bundle ids), **Search words** and/or **Developers**.
2. Set the **Store country** (`us`, `gb`, `de`, `jp`…).
3. For reviews, switch on **Also get reviews**, list the **Review countries**, and pick the **Review order** — newest, most helpful, or both.
4. Press **Start**, and download the results from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel. Filter on `recordType` to separate apps from reviews.
To follow your ratings or a competitor's reviews, save your input as a task and schedule it daily or weekly.
You can also call it from the Apify API, from Make, Zapier or n8n, or from an AI agent through the Apify MCP server.
### Pricing
You are charged **per app** and **per review** delivered — see the prices on this page. Unknown apps, empty searches and countries without reviews are free. If your run has a **Maximum charge**, the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.
### FAQ
**Why at most 1,000 reviews per country?** That is what Apple's public review feed gives: 500 newest and 500 most helpful per app and country. For more, add more countries — reviews are kept per country.
**Why are some countries' reviews missing?** An app may have no written reviews in that country's store. It comes back as `NO_RESULTS` and is not charged.
**Is this affiliated with Apple?** No. This is an independent tool that reads Apple's public App Store data.
**Like it?** A short review on the Store page helps other people find this Actor. Something missing or broken? Tell us on the Issues tab — we read every one.
