## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## DBA Scraper — Denmark Marketplace, Cars & Boats, No Phones

Get listings from DBA (Den Blå Avis, dba.dk), Denmark's largest classifieds site: the marketplace (Markedspladsen — furniture, electronics, bikes, clothes, kids' things, everything that is not a vehicle), cars, motorcycles, mopeds, ATVs, boats, caravans, motorhomes and farm machines. Title, price, town, seller type and company, when it was published, pictures, shipping and "buy now" — plus make, model, year, mileage, fuel and gearbox for vehicles, and length, engine and boat type for boats. For marketplace listings, the full description, the category, the condition, the postcode and the item details if you want them. Paste your DBA search links — or just type a keyword.

**Why this one**

- 🔗 **Your search, as you set it up.** Set every filter you like on dba.dk and paste the link. Or type keywords here — "sofa", "iphone 15", "ladcykel" — and choose the section, a category, a region or town (Østjylland, Aarhus, København K…), a price range, the condition, private sellers or dealers, and the order.
- ⚡ **Fast.** The ready-made search delivers its 30 listings in about 4 seconds. A live test run read four searches — bikes in Østjylland up to 5,000 kr, dealers' cars up to 150,000 kr, cargo bikes (from an old dba.dk/soeg link) and privately sold LEGO in Nordsjælland from 100 kr — and delivered 5,623 listings in 234 seconds, 4,123 of them opened for their descriptions.
- 📚 **More than DBA's 50 pages.** DBA stops every search after 50 pages (2,650 marketplace listings or 2,500 vehicles). The Actor reads on town by town, district by district and in price bands: a live run delivered 4,000 of the 4,486 sofas in Østjylland, with no duplicates, in 147 seconds.
- 📝 **Descriptions when you need them.** Tick **Open every marketplace listing for its description** for the ad text, the category path, the condition, the postcode and the item details (brand, size, type…). In the live run above all 4,123 opened listings came with their description, category and postcode, and 3,134 with a condition (not every ad states one).
- 🔒 **No phone numbers, no seller names.** Dealers and shops are named by their company; private sellers by nothing — only their town (and postcode), no map point. Phone numbers and e-mail addresses written into titles and descriptions are replaced with `[phone removed]` / `[e-mail removed]` — including Danish 8-digit numbers written as "tlf. 7231 1184", "20 30 40 50" or "2030 4050" — while prices, years, postcodes and sizes stay. In the same live run, 87 of the 5,623 listings had a phone number in the text.
- 💸 **You pay only for listings delivered.** A link that is not a DBA search, a place DBA does not know, or a search with no listings comes back as a free record with the reason.

### What you get

For every listing:

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `title`, `price`, `currency` | the ad title and the asking price (DKK) |
| `section` | marketplace, cars, motorcycles, mopeds, atvs, boats, caravans, motorhomes, trucks, buses, construction-machines, tractors, farm-tools, combine-harvesters |
| `location`, `latitude`, `longitude` | the town or district; the map point only for dealers and shops |
| `sellerType`, `seller` | private or business, and the company name (none for private sellers) |

| `tradeType`, `brand`, `canShip`, `buyNow`, `sellerPaysShipping`, `isSold`, `matchedBy` | marketplace: for sale / give away / wanted, the brand, DBA shipping and "buy now", sold, and whether the ad has your words (`keyword`) or DBA added it as similar (`semantic`) |
| `make`, `model`, `series`, `version`, `year`, `mileageKm`, `fuel`, `transmission`, `vehicleClass` | vehicles |
| `saleForm`, `priceIsMonthly`, `engineCc`, `engineHours`, `serviceHistory` | vehicles: used / new / leasing (leasing prices are per month), and the rest when the seller gives it |
| `boatClass`, `lengthFt`, `widthCm`, `engineType`, `engineFuel`, `engineHp` | boats |
| `input`, `region`, `position`, `scrapedAt`, `status`, `error` | which search it came from, and why a search gave nothing |

With **Open every marketplace listing for its description** also: `description`, `category` (e.g. "Sport og friluftsliv > Cykling > Cykler"), `condition` (e.g. "Brugt - men i god stand"), `postcode`, `postalTown`, `details` (DBA's item details, such as brand, size or type), `edited`, `isWebshop`.

#### Example

A real record from a live run with **Open every marketplace listing for its description** ticked — a cargo bike from a shop, 25 September 2026:

```json
{
  "listingId": "14403996",
  "url": "https://www.dba.dk/recommerce/forsale/item/14403996",
  "section": "marketplace",
  "title": "Livelo #1 Ladcykel",
  "price": 39995,
  "currency": "DKK",
  "location": "Aalborg",
  "latitude": 57.04072,
  "longitude": 9.89138,
  "sellerType": "business",
  "seller": "Gladcyklen.dk",
  "published": "2026-09-16T10:45:03.000Z",
  "imageCount": 3,
  "matchedBy": "keyword",
  "tradeType": "for sale",
  "canShip": false,
  "buyNow": false,
  "isSold": false,
  "description": "Livelo #1 er en elektrisk assisteret familie- og transportcykel, som du kan bruge hele året rundt. Pendler, aflever børnene, tag hunden med eller tag på indkøb…",
  "category": "Sport og friluftsliv > Cykling > Cykler",
  "condition": "Helt ny - uåbnet/med prismærke",
  "postcode": "9000",
  "postalTown": "Aalborg",
  "details": { "Cykeltype": "Elektrisk", "Køn": "Unisex" },
  "isWebshop": true,
  "status": "OK"
}
```

A private seller's listing from the same run comes with `"seller": null`, `"latitude": null` and `"longitude": null` — only the town and the postcode.

### How to use it

1. Paste **Search links** from dba.dk, one per line — or type **Keywords** and choose the section and the filters.
2. Set **Max listings per search**, and tick **Open every marketplace listing for its description** if you need the ad text, the condition and the category.
3. Press **Start**, and download the results from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.

To follow new listings, choose **Newest first** (or sort by date on dba.dk before you copy the link), save your input as a task and schedule it daily.

You can also call it from the Apify API, from Make, Zapier or n8n, or from an AI agent through the Apify MCP server.

### Pricing

You are charged **per listing delivered** — see the price on this page. Opening marketplace listings for their descriptions costs nothing extra, only time. Links that are not DBA searches, places DBA does not know and searches with no listings are free.

### FAQ

**How many listings per search?** As many as you set in **Max listings per search**. Past DBA's own limit of 50 pages the Actor splits the search by region, town, district and price band, and leaves out listings it has already delivered.

**Why are there listings without my words?** When a marketplace search finds only a few ads with your words, DBA adds similar ones and counts them in its own result: in a live run "volvo pv444" gave 37 listings, 20 of them with the words, and "hasselblad 500cm" 15, 2 of them with the words. `matchedBy` tells them apart; tick **Only exact matches** to leave the similar ones out.

**Do old DBA links work?** Links from the old site (dba.dk/soeg/?soeg=…, dba.dk/cykler/…) are followed to the new search, the way DBA redirects them. DBA's redirect can leave some filters out (the old price range, for one), so for exact results set the search up again on dba.dk.

**Why no condition or category without the description option?** DBA's search results do not carry them; they are on each listing's own page, which the Actor opens when you tick the option. Vehicle listings carry their data in the search results and are not opened.

**Why no phone numbers or seller names?** They are personal data. Every listing has its `url`; buyers contact the seller on DBA. Note that the description is the seller's own text: it is passed on as written apart from phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

**Is this affiliated with DBA?** No. This is an independent tool that reads public DBA listings.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchUrls` (type: `array`):

Set up a search on dba.dk — the marketplace (Markedspladsen), cars, motorbikes, boats, caravans, motorhomes or farm machines — with all the filters you want, and paste the address of the results page. One per line.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Or search for these words, one per line — e.g. "sofa", "iphone 15", "ladcykel". The options below apply to them.

## `maxListingsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):

Stops each search (link or keyword) after this many listings. DBA shows at most 50 pages (2,500-2,650 listings) for one search; to go further, the Actor reads the rest region by region, town by town and in price bands.

## `section` (type: `string`):

For the keywords above.

## `category` (type: `string`):

Optional, for marketplace keywords. For a narrower category (e.g. bikes or sofas), set it up on dba.dk and paste the link instead.

## `region` (type: `string`):

Optional, for the keywords above: a region (landsdel) such as "Østjylland", "Nordsjælland" or "København og omegn", or a town such as "Aarhus", "Odense" or "København K". Empty: all of Denmark.

## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):

Optional, for the keywords above.

## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):

Optional, for the keywords above.

## `condition` (type: `string`):

Optional, for marketplace keywords.

## `sellerType` (type: `string`):

Optional, for the keywords above.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

For the keywords above.

## `exactMatchesOnly` (type: `boolean`):

When a marketplace search finds only a few listings with your words, DBA adds similar ones and counts them in its result ("volvo pv444": 37 listings, 20 of them with the words). Tick to leave the similar ones out. Every marketplace record says how it matched in "matchedBy".

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the full description, the category, the condition, the postcode and the item details (brand, size, type…) to marketplace listings. One more page per listing, so slower. Vehicle listings already carry their data and are not opened.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many searches to work on at the same time.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Used only to try again after a network error: the first try goes out directly.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchUrls": [
    "https://www.dba.dk/recommerce/forsale/search?q=sofa&location=0.200001&price_to=3000"
  "exactMatchesOnly": false,
  "includeDetails": false,
  "maxConcurrency": 3,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Every result as a JSON record, with a status for each input.

## `resultsCsv` (type: `string`):

The same records as CSV, for a spreadsheet.
