## Gumtree Scraper — UK Classifieds, Cars & Property, No Phones

Get listings from gumtree.com, the UK's big classifieds site: **stuff for sale**, **cars, vans and motorbikes**, **property to rent and for sale**, rooms to share and **pets**. Title, price, area, category, when it was posted and the seller type, plus the section's own data — make, model, year, mileage, fuel, gearbox, engine and power for vehicles; property type, bedrooms, bathrooms and available date for rentals; condition and delivery for goods. Paste your Gumtree search links, or type keywords and a place.

**Why this one**

- 🔗 **Your search, as you set it up.** Set every filter you like on gumtree.com — category, place, distance, price, make, seller type — and paste the link. Or type keywords here ("sofa", "golf gti") with a town and a category. One run can mix cars, property and stuff.

Dealers and agencies with a Gumtree business account keep their postcode and map point, and with **Open every listing** their business name. Phone numbers and e-mail addresses written into titles and descriptions are replaced with `[phone removed]` / `[e-mail removed]`.
- 💸 **You pay only for listings delivered.** A link that is not a Gumtree search, a place Gumtree does not know, or a search without results comes back as a free record with the reason.

### How to use it

1. Paste **Search links** from gumtree.com, one per line — or type **Keywords**, a **Place** and a **Category**, with an optional price range, distance and seller type. A place without keywords lists the whole category there.
2. Set **Max listings per search**. Tick **Open every listing** for the full description, every attribute and the business name of dealers and agencies (one more page per listing: a live run read 180 listings this way in 73 seconds).
3. Press **Start**, and download the results from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.

Searches are read newest first: Gumtree's "relevance" order reshuffles between pages, so reading it page by page would repeat some ads and miss others. Price order is kept.

To follow new listings in a search, save the input as a task and schedule it daily.

### FAQ

**How many listings per search?** Gumtree shows up to 50 pages for one search — about 1,400 listings (cars in London: 9,855 found, 1,390 read). For more, split the search by price band, make or place. For keyword searches Gumtree's count is an estimate and it serves fewer pages: private road bikes in London showed "1,649 ads" but 311 listings on its pages — the same on the website.

**Why fewer listings than Gumtree's count?** Featured ads come back on every page and are delivered once, ads outside your price range or seller type are left out, and so are the sections below.

**Rent prices?** Gumtree filters rents by the week, so a price range on a rental search is per week (£1,300 a month is £300 a week) — for links and for the form. Every rental also comes with `pricePerMonth`.

**Services, jobs, community?** Left out, and so are "wanted" ads, lost-and-found and home swaps: they are about people, not things for sale or rent. A link to them comes back as a free record saying so.

**Can I search by postcode?** Not by a postcode: use a town or an area (Leeds, Kings Cross) with a distance.

**Why no seller phone numbers or names?** Every listing has its `url`; buyers contact the seller on Gumtree. Business accounts are named by the name they publish — a sole trader's business name can be their own name or initials.

**Is this affiliated with Gumtree?** No. This is an independent tool that reads public Gumtree listings.
