## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Jobs.cz & Prace.cz Scraper — Czech Jobs & Salaries, No Phones

Get job ads from Jobs.cz and Prace.cz, the two biggest Czech job boards: title, company, place, the salary as the ad shows it — parsed into minimum, maximum and period — on-site, hybrid or remote, when it was posted and until when it runs, professions and fields, and, if you want, the full ad text with the education and languages asked for, the contract, the benefits and the workplace address. Paste search links from either site, or type keywords and places.

**Why this one**

- 🔗 **Both boards, one run.** Jobs.cz and Prace.cz belong to the same company but carry different ads: a live search for "řidič" around Ostrava found 84 jobs on Jobs.cz and 119 on Prace.cz, only 38 of them on both — the run delivered 165, each once. Paste links from either site, or search both at once.
- 🔎 **Your search, as you set it up.** Set up a search on jobs.cz or prace.cz and paste the link — keyword, place, radius and every filter are kept. Or type **Keywords** and **Places** here (Brno, Kladno, Praha, Jihomoravský kraj) and pick posted within, minimum salary, employment type, contract, education, home office and direct employer or agency below.
- 💰 **Salaries you can sort by.** "45 000 – 60 000 Kč" becomes `salaryMin` 45000, `salaryMax` 60000, `salaryPeriod` month. In a live test run 1,666 of 3,515 jobs showed a salary. A salary the employer hides on the site stays hidden here too.
- 📄 **The full ad — also from employers' career sites.** Many ads (104 of 400 in a live run) are not on Jobs.cz at all but on the employer's own career site. With **Full job ad and details** on, a live run read 400 of 400 ads in full — from jobs.cz, prace.cz and those career sites — in 155 seconds.
- ⚡ **Fast.** No browser. A live run read three searches — all of Praha on Jobs.cz, full-time jobs within 20 km of Brno on Prace.cz, and "řidič" in Ostrava on both sites with a minimum salary — 3,515 jobs in 85 seconds.
- 🔒 **No contact persons, no phones.** Job ads name their recruiters with phone numbers ("Kontaktní osoba: …, tel. 7xx xxx xxx"). The site's contact block is never read, and contact lines, names after "paní/pan", titles and names ("Mgr. …"), phone numbers and e-mail addresses are taken out of the ad text. Companies are named; people are not.
- 💸 **You pay only for jobs delivered.** A link that is not a Jobs.cz or Prace.cz search, a place Jobs.cz does not know, or a search without jobs comes back as a free record with the reason.

### What you get

For every job:

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `title`, `jobId`, `url` | the job; `jobId` is Jobs.cz's number, which Prace.cz uses too; `url` opens the ad where the site sends you (on Prace.cz sometimes the employer's career site) |
| `source`, `praceAdId` | `jobs.cz` or `prace.cz`, and Prace.cz's own id of the ad |
| `company` | the employer as the site names it |
| `location`, `extraLocations` | the place ("Praha – Malešice"), and how many more places the ad lists |
| `salary` | as the site shows it: "45 000 – 60 000 Kč", "32 000 – 38 000 Kč/měsíc", "180 – 250 Kč/hodina" |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod` | the same in numbers; `salaryPeriod` is `month`, `hour` or `year` |
| `workplace` | `on-site`, `hybrid` (home office possible) or `remote` (mostly from home) |
| `postedDate`, `postedAt`, `validTo` | the day it was posted (on Jobs.cz: the day of the site's "Přidáno dnes / Aktualizováno včera / 12. září" label), the exact time (Prace.cz), and until when it runs (Prace.cz, and Jobs.cz ads that say "Končí za 3 dny") |
| `dateLabel`, `isPromoted` | Jobs.cz's own date label, and whether it is a paid, promoted ad |
| `employmentTypes` | `full-time`, `part-time`, `temporary`, `internship` (Prace.cz; Jobs.cz with the full ad) |
| `professions`, `fields`, `suitableFor` | the site's professions and fields (Prace.cz; Jobs.cz with the full ad), and for whom it is suitable: `graduates`, `no-experience`, `retirees`, `parental-leave`, `disabled`, `ukraine-refugees` |
| `input`, `place`, `position`, `scrapedAt` | which search it came from, the place the site matched, its place in the results, when it was read |
| `status`, `error` | `OK`, or why a search gave nothing |

With **Full job ad and details** also:

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `description` | the full ad as plain text, without contact persons, phone numbers and e-mail addresses |
| `detailsFrom` | where the ad was read: `jobs.cz`, `prace.cz` or `career site` |
| `educationRequired`, `languages` | "Středoškolské nebo odborné vyučení s maturitou"; "Angličtina (Středně pokročilá)" |
| `contractTypes`, `employmentText`, `employmentDuration` | `employment` (pracovní smlouva), `freelance` (IČO), `agreement` (DPP/DPČ); "Práce na plný úvazek"; "Na dobu neurčitou" |
| `employerType` | `employer` or `agency` (Jobs.cz pages) |
| `benefits` | "13. plat", "Dovolená 5 týdnů", "Stravenky/příspěvek na stravování", … |
| `workplaceAddress` | the workplace: "Tiskařská 257/10, Praha – Malešice" |
| `firstPostedAt` | when the ad was first published (Prace.cz and career sites) |

### How to use it

1. Paste **Search links** from jobs.cz or prace.cz, one per line — or type **Keywords** and/or **Places** and choose the **Job board** (Jobs.cz, Prace.cz or both). Every keyword is searched in every place; a keyword alone searches the whole Czech Republic, a place alone gives all its jobs.
2. Optionally pick a **Radius**, **Posted within**, **Minimum salary**, **Employment type**, **Contract**, **Education required**, **Home office** and **Posted by**.
3. Set **Max jobs per search**, and turn on **Full job ad and details** if you need the text (slower: one or two more requests per job).
4. Press **Start**, and download the results from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.

For a daily feed of new jobs, save your input as a task with **Posted within** set to the last 24 hours and schedule it every morning.

You can also call it from the Apify API, from Make, Zapier or n8n, or from an AI agent through the Apify MCP server.

### Pricing

You are charged **per job delivered** — see the price on this page. The full ad and details cost nothing extra, only time. Links that are not Jobs.cz or Prace.cz searches, places Jobs.cz does not know and searches without jobs are free.

### FAQ

**How many jobs per search?** Jobs.cz shows at most 45 pages — 1,350 jobs — of any search: a live run of all of Praha (8,340 jobs found) delivered those 1,350. Prace.cz shows up to 250 pages — 10,000 jobs: a live run of all of Prace.cz (20,690 jobs found) delivered 10,000 different jobs in 336 seconds. For more, split a big search by place, keyword or filter, or search both boards.

**Why do Jobs.cz and Prace.cz give different jobs?** They are separate boards: an employer can advertise on one or both, and their keyword searches differ too. With **Job board → Both**, a job found on both is delivered once, from Jobs.cz.

**Why is the salary empty for some jobs?** The employer chose not to show it. Prace.cz keeps a hidden salary in its page data, but this scraper does not deliver what the site does not show. With **Minimum salary**, a job whose shown monthly salary is entirely below it is left out.

**Why do some Jobs.cz jobs have no `postedDate`?** Jobs.cz labels promoted ads "Příležitost dne" and ads about to end "Končí za 3 dny" instead of a date; those have `validTo` or `isPromoted` instead. Prace.cz jobs always have `postedAt`.

**Why are contact persons missing?** They are personal data. Every job has its `url`; candidates apply through the site or the employer. When a company trades under a person's name (a sole trader), that name is kept as the site publishes it.

**Is this affiliated with Jobs.cz, Prace.cz or Alma Career?** No. This is an independent tool that reads the job ads Jobs.cz and Prace.cz publish on their websites.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchUrls` (type: `array`):

Set up a search on jobs.cz or prace.cz with all the filters you want and paste the address of the results page. One per line; both sites can be mixed.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Or search here without a link: job titles or keywords (účetní, programátor, svářeč, řidič). Each keyword is searched in each place below, or in the whole Czech Republic when there is no place. The filters below apply.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Czech towns, city districts or regions (Brno, Kladno, Praha, Jihomoravský kraj). A place without keywords gives all its jobs.

## `site` (type: `string`):

For the keywords and places above: which site to search. Jobs.cz and Prace.cz belong to the same company but carry different ads; with both, an ad found on both sites is delivered once.

## `radius` (type: `string`):

For the places above: how far around the place.

## `postedWithin` (type: `string`):

Optional: only ads published in the last day, 3 days or week.

## `minSalary` (type: `integer`):

Optional: the site's salary filter. Ads that show a salary entirely below it are left out.

## `employmentTypes` (type: `array`):

Optional: only jobs of any of these kinds.

## `contractTypes` (type: `array`):

Optional: only jobs offering any of these contracts.

## `education` (type: `string`):

## `employerType` (type: `string`):

Optional: direct employers or recruitment agencies only.

## `maxListingsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):

Stops each search after this many jobs. Jobs.cz serves at most 1,350 jobs per search (45 pages), Prace.cz at most 10,000 (250 pages).

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Opens every ad for its full text, education, languages, fields and professions, contract, benefits and workplace address — also for ads on employers' own career sites. One or two more requests per job, so slower.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many searches to work on at the same time.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Used only to try again after a network error: the first try goes out directly.
