## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## karriere.at Scraper — Austrian Jobs & Salaries, No Phones

Get job ads from karriere.at, Austria's largest job board: title, company, places, employment type, home office, the salary as the ad states it — parsed into minimum, maximum and period — the posting date, karriere.at's short summary, and the full ad text with job level, job fields, regions, a staffing-agency flag, the company website and the apply link. Paste your karriere.at search links, or type keywords and places.

**Why this one**

- 🔗 **Your search, as you set it up.** Set up a search on karriere.at and paste the link — keyword, place, radius and every filter are kept. Or type **Keywords** and **Places** here (Linz, Graz-Umgebung, Tirol, 1010 Wien) and pick employment type, job level, job field and "home office possible" below.
- 💶 **Salaries you can sort by.** Austrian job ads state the pay: in a live test run 2,282 of 2,381 jobs had one; `salaryMin`, `salaryMax` and `salaryPeriod` turn "ab 4.214,37 € monatlich" into numbers.
- 📄 **The full ad.** With **Full job ad and details** on (the default), every job comes with its complete text, the exact posting time, job level, job fields and whether the employer is a staffing agency (233 of 2,381 in the test run were).
- 🆕 **New jobs only.** **Posted within (days)** keeps just the fresh ones: a live run read every job posted in Linz today and yesterday — 542, the same 542 a full read of all 1,995 Linz jobs found — in 27 seconds.
- ⚡ **Fast.** No browser. A live run read three searches — IT jobs in Vienna with home office, "lehre", part-time "pflege" in Styria — 2,381 jobs with full ads in 200 seconds.
- 🔒 **No contact persons, no phones.** Job ads name recruiters and HR staff with their numbers ("Ihre Ansprechpartnerin ist Frau Mag. …, Tel. …"). Those lines, contact blocks, phone numbers and e-mail addresses are taken out of the summary, the snippet and the full text. Companies are named; people are not.
- 💸 **You pay only for jobs delivered.** A link that is not a karriere.at search, a place karriere.at does not know, or a search with no jobs comes back as a free record with the reason.

### What you get

For every job:

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `title`, `jobId`, `url` | the job on karriere.at |
| `company`, `companyId`, `companySize`, `companyUrl`, `companyLogo` | who is hiring (its karriere.at page and size band); `companyHidden` is true when the employer is not named in the ad |
| `location`, `locations` | the places as karriere.at lists them ("Wien 5. Bezirk (Margareten)", "Graz") |
| `homeOffice` | whether working from home is possible |
| `employmentTypes`, `employmentTypeText` | `full-time`, `part-time`, `marginal`, `internship`, `apprenticeship`, `thesis`, `freelance` — and karriere.at's own words ("Vollzeit, Teilzeit") |
| `salary` | as the ad states it: "ab 3.812,70 € monatlich", "4.000 € – 6.000 € monatlich", "50.000 € jährlich" |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryPeriod`, `salaryCurrency` | the same in numbers; `salaryMax` is empty for "ab" (from) salaries — usually the collective-agreement minimum, with more paid by experience; `salaryPeriod` is `month`, `year` or `hour` |
| `postedDate`, `isPromoted` | the day it was published, and whether it is a paid, pushed listing |
| `summary`, `snippet` | karriere.at's three-sentence summary and the start of the ad |
| `input`, `place`, `position`, `scrapedAt` | which search it came from, the place karriere.at matched, its place in the results, when it was read |
| `status`, `error` | `OK`, or why a search gave nothing |

With **Full job ad and details** (on by default) also:

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `description` | the full ad as plain text, without contact persons, phone numbers and e-mail addresses |
| `postedAt` | the exact publication time |
| `jobLevel` | `entry`, `experienced`, `lead`, `executive`, `self-employed` |
| `jobFields` | e.g. `it`, `engineering`, `sales`, `health-social` (the same names as the **Job field** filter) |
| `regions` | the Austrian states of the workplaces |
| `isStaffingAgency` | true when the employer is a recruitment or staffing agency |
| `companyWebsite`, `applyUrl` | the employer's website and where to apply |

```
### How to use it
1. Paste **Search links** from karriere.at, one per line — or type **Keywords** and/or **Places**. Every keyword is searched in every place; a keyword alone searches all of Austria, a place alone gives all its jobs.
2. Optionally pick **Employment type**, **Job level**, **Job field**, **Home office possible**, a **Radius** around the places, and **Posted within (days)**.
3. Set **Max jobs per search**, and turn off **Full job ad and details** if the list fields are enough (faster).
4. Press **Start**, and download the results from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.
For a daily feed of new jobs, save your input as a task with **Posted within (days)** set to 1 and schedule it every morning.
You can also call it from the Apify API, from Make, Zapier or n8n, or from an AI agent through the Apify MCP server.
### Pricing
You are charged **per job delivered** — see the price on this page. The full ad and details cost nothing extra, only time. Links that are not karriere.at searches, places karriere.at does not know and searches without jobs are free.
### FAQ
**How many jobs per search?** As many as karriere.at shows for it, up to its limit of 500 pages. A live run of all of Austria stopped there, at 7,500 of 12,873 jobs — the newest five days — in 372 seconds without the full ads. For everything, split by state or job field. Promoted jobs that karriere.at shows again on later pages are delivered once per search.
**Why is there no salary filter?** On karriere.at it needs a login. Every job that states a salary has `salaryMin` and `salaryPeriod`, so you can filter the results yourself.
**Why do some results not contain my keyword in the title?** karriere.at searches the whole ad; a search for "lehre" also finds jobs that ask for a finished apprenticeship. Use **Employment type → Apprenticeship** for apprenticeships only.
**Why are contact persons missing?** They are personal data. Every job has its `url` and `applyUrl`; candidates apply through karriere.at or the employer. When an employer trades under a person's name, that company name is kept as karriere.at publishes it.
**Is this affiliated with karriere.at?** No. This is an independent tool that reads the job ads karriere.at publishes on its website.
**Like it?** A short review on the Store page helps other people find this Actor. Something missing or broken? Tell us on the Issues tab — we read every one.
# Actor input Schema
## `searchUrls` (type: `array`):
Set up a search on karriere.at with all the filters you want and paste the address of the results page. One per line.
