## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Marktplaats & 2dehands Scraper — Listings, Prices, No Phones

Get listings from **marktplaats.nl**, the biggest classifieds site of the Netherlands, and its Belgian sister sites **2dehands.be** (Dutch) and **2ememain.be** (French) — one platform, one actor. Title, price and price type (fixed, bidding, free), condition, delivery, category, place and country, distance from your postcode, the date shown, the picture, and for cars make and model, year, mileage, fuel, gearbox and body — plus every filter value the seller filled in. Paste your search links from any of the three sites, or type keywords and pick the site.

**Why this one**

- 🔗 **Your search, as you set it up.** Set up a search on the site — category, words, price, postcode and distance, sorting, any filter — and paste the link, including everything after "#". One run can mix Dutch and Belgian searches. Or type keywords and use the simple form: site, postcode and distance, price, condition, posted since.
- ⚡ **Fast and deep.** A live test run read four searches on all three sites — VW cars from €5,000 to €15,000, "playstation 5" within 25 km of Gent, bikes on 2ememain posted since yesterday and "lego" from €20 to €300 — 4,776 listings in 87 seconds. Sorted newest first, one search goes as deep as the sites allow: 5,000 listings for "fiets" in under three minutes.
- 🎯 **Filters obeyed.** In that run all 1,500 VW cars were priced €5,000–€15,000, all 1,288 PlayStation listings were within 25 km, and all "lego" listings were €20–€300. No listing came twice.
- 🔒 **Private sellers stay anonymous.** Three out of four listings in the test run were from private sellers: they come with their town and country only — no name, no seller id, no map point. Businesses (dealers, shops) are named by their company. Phone numbers and e-mail addresses in titles and descriptions are replaced with `[phone removed]` / `[e-mail removed]`, and there is no option to fetch contact details.
- 💸 **You pay only for listings delivered.** A link that is not a search of the three sites, a category that does not exist, or words with no listings come back as a free record with the reason.

### What you get

For every listing:

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `title`, `description`, `url`, `listingId`, `site` | the ad, the start of its text as the search shows it (about 250 characters), and which site it is on |
| `price`, `priceType`, `currency` | the price in EUR, and its type: `FIXED`, `MIN_BID` (bidding from), `FAST_BID` (make an offer), `SEE_DESCRIPTION` or `FREE` |
| `condition`, `delivery` | e.g. "Gebruikt" / "Zo goed als nieuw", "Ophalen of Verzenden" |
| `category`, `subcategory`, `categoryId` | where the ad is listed |
| `attributes` | every filter value of the ad: brand, colour, size, energy label, car options… |
| `city`, `country`, `distanceKm` | where it is, and how far from the postcode of your search |
| `latitude`, `longitude` | for businesses only |
| `sellerType`, `seller`, `sellerId`, `sellerVerified` | `private` or `business`; the name and id for businesses only |
| `listedOn` | the date the site shows on the ad (YYYY-MM-DD) |
| `isTopAd`, `isAdmarkt`, `isUrgent`, `isReserved`, `hasVideo` | paid placement (top ad, Admarkt ad) and flags |
| `image`, `images` | the main picture, and the pictures the search shows (one, or three for some paid ads) |
| `input`, `position`, `scrapedAt`, `status`, `error` | which search it came from, and why a search gave nothing |

Cars also: `makeModel`, `model`, `year`, `mileageKm`, `fuel`, `transmission`, `body`.

### How to use it

1. Paste **Search links** from marktplaats.nl, 2dehands.be or 2ememain.be, one per line — or type **Keywords**, pick the **Site** and, if you like, a postcode and distance, a price range, the condition and how recent.
2. Set **Max listings per search**. Untick **Include private sellers** to keep businesses only.
3. Press **Start**, and download the results from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.

To follow new listings or prices, sort your search by date on the site (keywords are sorted newest first already), save the input as a task and schedule it daily.

You can also call it from the Apify API, from Make, Zapier or n8n, or from an AI agent through the Apify MCP server.

### Feed mode: only new listings + alerts

Run the same search every day and get only what is new. Tick **Only new listings (feed mode)** and the Actor remembers every item it has delivered for this exact search.

- **How it works:** the seen items are kept in a named key-value store in your own account, `feed-marktplaats-2dehands-listings-<hash>`. The hash comes from your search inputs (everything except the feed, alert, proxy and parallelism settings), so each distinct search has its own memory and changing a filter starts a fresh one.
- **First run returns everything.** Later runs with the same inputs return only items not seen before, each with a `firstSeenAt` timestamp. Items already seen are neither saved to the dataset nor charged.
- **Memory:** an item is remembered for 60 days after you last saw it (up to 50,000 per search); after that it counts as new again.
- **Alerts:** set **Alert webhook URL** and, when a run finds new items, the Actor sends one POST (10 second timeout, a failure never fails the run). It works with Slack and Discord incoming webhooks, because the body has a `text` field, and with any HTTPS endpoint:

```json
{
  "text": "marktplaats-2dehands-listings: 3 new items — https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/<datasetId>",
  "actor": "marktplaats-2dehands-listings",
  "newCount": 3,
  "sampleItems": [ { "url": "https://…", "firstSeenAt": "2026-10-13T08:00:00.000Z" } ],
  "datasetUrl": "https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/<datasetId>",
  "runId": "<runId>"
}
```

Schedule the Actor (Apify Console > Schedules) to run daily with feed mode on, and the webhook turns it into a new-listings alert.

### Pricing

You are charged **per listing delivered** — see the price on this page. Links that are not searches of the three sites, categories that do not exist and searches without results are free.

### FAQ

**How many listings per search?** Up to 5,000 — the sites let no search go further, whatever the total ("fiets" finds over 200,000). Sort by date (newest first) to reach all 5,000: in the site's own "best match" order the same listings come back on later pages, and a live test reached 3,715 different ones. For more, split a search by category, price or region.

**Why no name or map point for some listings?** Those are private sellers: their name is a person's name and their map point is near their home. Their town and country are included. The search results do not say "private" or "business" in so many words, so a seller counts as a business when the ad shows it: a paid Admarkt ad, a verified seller, a website link or company logo, or dealer features. A small trader without any of these comes out as private, without a name.

**Is the full description included?** No — the start of it, as the search results show it (about 250 characters). Open the `url` for the whole ad.

**Why are there Dutch listings in a Belgian search?** The sites share their listings, and a search on 2dehands or 2ememain can include ads from the Netherlands (and the other way round) — the `country` field tells them apart.

**Is this affiliated with Marktplaats, 2dehands or 2ememain?** No. This is an independent tool that reads public listings from the three sites.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchUrls` (type: `array`):

Set up a search on marktplaats.nl, 2dehands.be or 2ememain.be — category, words, price, postcode and distance, sorting, any filter — and paste the address of the results page, including everything after "#". One per line; the three sites can be mixed. Sorted by date (newest first), a search reaches up to 5,000 listings.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Or search the whole site chosen below for these words, one per line — e.g. "fiets", "iphone 15", "lego 42143". The filters below apply.

## `maxListingsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):

Stops each search after this many listings. The sites show up to 5,000 per search.

## `site` (type: `string`):

Which site the keywords search.

## `postcode` (type: `string`):

Optional, for the keywords: search around this postcode (1012AB in the Netherlands, 2000 in Belgium). Each listing then comes with its distance.

## `radiusKm` (type: `integer`):

Optional, with a postcode: only listings within this many km (the sites offer 3, 5, 10, 15, 25, 50 and 75).

## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):

Optional, for the keywords.

## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):

Optional, for the keywords.

## `condition` (type: `array`):

Optional, for the keywords: any of these.

## `postedWithin` (type: `string`):

Optional, for the keywords: only listings placed today, since yesterday or in the last week.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

For the keywords. Newest first reaches the most listings (5,000 per search); the site's best-match order repeats listings from page to page and reaches fewer.

## `includePrivateSellers` (type: `boolean`):

Untick to keep businesses only (shops, dealers). Private sellers never come with a name, seller id or map point.

## `onlyNewListings` (type: `boolean`):

Return only items not seen by your previous runs with the same search inputs. Seen keys are kept in a key-value store in your account (named feed-<actor>-<hash>) for 60 days. The first run returns everything.

## `alertWebhookUrl` (type: `string`):

When new items appear, POST a JSON summary {actor, newCount, sampleItems (max 5), datasetUrl, runId} to this URL. Works with Slack/Discord incoming webhooks (sends a `text` field too) and any HTTPS endpoint.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many searches to work on at the same time.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Used only to try again after a network error: the first try goes out directly.
