## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## MyCareersFuture Scraper — Singapore Jobs & Salaries, No Phones

Get job ads from MyCareersFuture (mycareersfuture.gov.sg), Singapore's national jobs portal: title, company and its UEN, whether a recruitment agency posted it, the monthly salary range in SGD, employment types, position level, minimum years of experience, skills, categories, district and region, when it was posted and when it closes, how many people applied — and the full ad as plain text. Paste your MyCareersFuture search links — or just type a job title and pick the filters.

**Why this one**

- 🔗 **Your search, as you set it up.** Search on mycareersfuture.gov.sg with every filter you like and paste the link. Or type keywords here — "nurse", "data analyst" — and choose categories, employment types, position levels, regions, a minimum salary, direct employers or recruitment agencies, and "posted within" below. No keyword and a category gives you every job in that category.
- ⚡ **Fast, and to the end of a search.** A live run read every Information Technology job on MyCareersFuture — 9,348 of the 9,350 it counted — in 197 seconds. Another read four searches with their full ads (engineers from S$5,000, nurses, managers by salary, IT recruiters) — 5,822 jobs in 176 seconds.
- 💵 **Salaries as numbers.** `salaryMin` and `salaryMax` in SGD a month, ready to sort and chart — all 9,348 IT jobs in the live run had both.
- 🏷️ **Recruitment agencies marked — and left out when you ask.** Many agencies post under their own name, so MyCareersFuture counts them as "direct" employers. Here `postedBy` says `recruiter` for them too, with the agency in `agency`. In a live run 3,813 of 9,348 IT jobs came from recruiters. **Direct employers** really leaves them out: "accountant" kept 354 of 662 jobs; 308 were posted by employment agencies.
- 🔒 **No phone numbers, no recruiter names.** Singapore agency ads sign off with their consultant's name, EA personnel registration number ("R1234567"), mobile or WhatsApp link. Those sentences and signature lines are taken out of the ad, and any phone number (Singapore's 8-digit ones too), e-mail address or chat link left is replaced. In 6,710 ads from live runs, none was left.
- 💸 **You pay only for jobs delivered.** A link that is not a MyCareersFuture search, or a search with no jobs, comes back as a free record with the reason.

### How to use it

1. Paste **Search links** from mycareersfuture.gov.sg, one per line — or type **Keywords** (one search each) and choose the filters. With no keyword, the filters alone make one search.
2. Set **Max jobs per search**, and untick **Include the full job description** if you only need the fields.
3. Press **Start**, and download the results from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.

To follow new jobs, save your input as a task with **Posted within (days)** set to 1 and schedule it daily.

You can also call it from the Apify API, from Make, Zapier or n8n, or from an AI agent through the Apify MCP server.

### Pricing

You are charged **per job delivered** — see the price on this page. The full description costs nothing extra. Links that are not MyCareersFuture searches, and searches with no jobs, are free.

### FAQ

**Where does the data come from?** From MyCareersFuture's public job search (api.mycareersfuture.gov.sg), the same one the website shows its results from. The run keeps to a few requests at a time: at most three pages of 100 jobs per search on the way.

**How many jobs per search?** All of them — MyCareersFuture has no cap on how far a search goes. A live run read all 9,348 Information Technology jobs in 197 seconds. While a search is read newest first, jobs posted in the meantime push older ones back, so a job or two can be missed at the end of a long search (2 of 9,350 in that run).

**Are the filters obeyed?** Yes. In live runs, 1,500 of 1,500 engineer jobs from a "Full Time, from S$5,000" link were full-time and reached S$5,000 a month; 1,322 of 1,322 nurse jobs were full-time or contract and reached S$3,000; 1,500 of 1,500 manager jobs were senior or middle management, in salary order; 173 of 173 jobs from "Manufacturing or Logistics, West, posted within 3 days" matched all three. MyCareersFuture's own rule for the minimum salary is that the top of the range reaches it.

**Why does a search with several categories or employment types take a moment to start?** MyCareersFuture's server gives up after 30 seconds on some "any of" searches (Full Time or Contract, every time we tried). So each category, employment type and position level is searched on its own and the results are merged — newest first, or by salary — without repeats.

**What does "Posted within" do?** MyCareersFuture has no such filter, so the run reads the search newest first and stops at the first job posted before that day (Singapore time). It applies to your search links too.

**Why no phone numbers or recruiter names?** They are personal data. Every job has its `url`; applicants apply on MyCareersFuture. Consultants' names, EA personnel registration numbers, mobile numbers, WhatsApp and Telegram links and e-mail addresses are taken out of the ad text by rules that know how Singapore agency ads write them ("EA Reg No: R…", "WhatsApp 9xxx xxxx (Ms …)", "please send your resume to:" followed by a name). Companies stay named by their registered company name. A rule can miss an unusual wording; untick **Include the full job description** if you need to be sure.

**Is this affiliated with MyCareersFuture?** No. This is an independent tool that reads public job ads on MyCareersFuture. It is not affiliated with Workforce Singapore, SkillsFuture Singapore or GovTech.
