## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Profession.hu Scraper — Hungarian Jobs & Salaries, No Phones

Get job ads from Profession.hu, Hungary's largest job board: title, company and its rating, place, on-site / hybrid / remote, the salary as the ad states it — parsed into minimum, maximum, period and gross or net — category, type of employment, requirements, the posting date, and the full ad text with education, languages, experience, contract type, postcode and expiry date. Paste your Profession.hu search links, or type keywords and places.

**Why this one**

- 🔗 **Your search, as you set it up.** Set up a search on profession.hu and paste the link — every filter in it is kept. Or type **Keywords** and **Places** here (Debrecen, Budapest XIII, Pest megye, Németország) and pick job category, type of employment, full-time or part-time, home office, experience, minimum salary and radius below.
- 💰 **Salaries you can sort by.** "Br. 450e - 500e Ft havi bér" becomes `salaryMin` 450000, `salaryMax` 500000, `salaryPeriod` month, `salaryType` gross; hourly wages ("Br. 2 300 - 2 600 Ft/óra bér") come as hourly numbers. About one ad in five states a salary (393 of the first 2,000 in the whole list); student jobs mostly do (601 of 802).
- 📄 **The full ad.** With **Full job ad and details** on (the default), every job comes with its tasks, requirements, advantages, what the employer offers and the company info as plain text, plus the education and languages asked, experience, contract type, postcode and the date the ad expires.
- ✅ **The whole search.** A live run read every student job in Hungary (802 of 802) and every job in Debrecen (554 of 555), with full ads, in 313 seconds.
- ⚡ **Fast.** No browser. Without the full ads, a live run read the first 2,000 jobs of the whole list and every "programozó" job with home office (312 of 313) — 2,312 jobs in 202 seconds.
- 🔒 **No phone numbers, no contact persons.** The ad's "how to apply" box — the one place that names recruiters — is left out, and phone numbers, e-mail addresses and names after "Kapcsolattartó:" or "Érdeklődni lehet:" are taken out of the text. Companies are named; people are not.
- 💸 **You pay only for jobs delivered.** A link that is not a Profession.hu search, a place Profession.hu does not know, or a search without jobs comes back as a free record with the reason.

### What you get

### How to use it

1. Paste **Search links** from profession.hu, one per line — or type **Keywords** and/or **Places**. Every keyword is searched in every place; a keyword alone searches all of Hungary, a place alone gives all its jobs.
2. Optionally pick **Job category**, **Type of employment**, **Full-time or part-time**, **Home office**, **Experience**, **Minimum salary**, **Only jobs with a stated salary**, and a **Radius around a town** (0 = only the town itself).
3. Set **Max jobs per search**, and turn off **Full job ad and details** if the list fields are enough (faster).
4. Press **Start**, and download the results from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.

You can also call it from the Apify API, from Make, Zapier or n8n, or from an AI agent through the Apify MCP server.

### Pricing

You are charged **per job delivered** — see the price on this page. The full ad and details cost nothing extra, only time. Links that are not Profession.hu searches, places Profession.hu does not know and searches without jobs are free.

### FAQ

**How many jobs per search?** As many as Profession.hu shows for it — live runs read all 802 student jobs, all 554 Debrecen jobs and the first 2,000 of the 20,250 jobs in the whole list. Set **Max jobs per search** as high as you need; a job is delivered once per search.

**Why are the "Kiemelt" jobs at the top of the page missing?** They are paid slots that Profession.hu puts on top of every page of a place search. They are not part of its result count and they ignore the search's filters — a search for Budapest jobs paying at least 600,000 Ft showed three of them without any salary — so they are left out.

**Why do so few jobs have a salary?** Most Hungarian employers do not state one. Tick **Only jobs with a stated salary**, or set a **Minimum salary**; Profession.hu compares hourly wages there as monthly pay, so hourly jobs come too.

**Why does `region` sometimes list several counties?** The ad has workplaces in several of them, and the job page lists every one.

**Why are contact persons missing?** They are personal data. Every job has its `url`; candidates apply through Profession.hu. When an employer trades under a person's name, that company name is kept as Profession.hu publishes it.

**Is this affiliated with Profession.hu?** No. This is an independent tool that reads the job ads Profession.hu publishes on its website.

**Like it?** A short review on the Store page helps other people find this Actor. Something missing or broken? Tell us on the Issues tab — we read every one.
