## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Realtor.com Scraper — Homes for Sale, Sold & Rentals, No Phones

Get US property listings from Realtor.com: homes for sale, sold homes and rentals. Price (or rent), beds, baths, square feet, lot size, year built, property type, HOA fee, price per square foot, list date, sold date and sale price, price cuts, full address with ZIP code and map point, MLS number, and the listing office and brokerage. Paste your Realtor.com search links — or just type a city, a ZIP code, a county, a neighborhood or a state.

**Why this one**

- 🔗 **Your search, as you set it up.** Set the filters you like on realtor.com — price, beds, home type, HOA, new construction, recently sold, rentals that allow dogs — and paste the link. Or type a place here (Austin, TX · 98101 · King County, WA · Texas) and set the filters below.
- ⚡ **Fast, and no start fee.** A live test run read four searches — Los Angeles for sale, Seattle sold, Chicago rentals and Austin houses — 8,000 homes in 164 seconds. You pay per home delivered, nothing per run.
- 🏷️ **For sale, sold and for rent in one tool.** Sold homes come with the sale price, the sale date and the last list price. Rentals come with the rent range of a building, its name and property manager, available units, and whether cats and dogs are allowed.
- 🔒 **No agent names, no phone numbers.** Brokerages, builders and property managers are named by their company only. Phone numbers, e-mail addresses and people's names after "call", "text" or "contact" in a description are replaced with `[phone removed]`, `[e-mail removed]` and `[name removed]`. Rentals that landlords list themselves keep their town and ZIP code, not their street or map point.
- 💸 **You pay only for homes delivered.** A link that is not a Realtor.com search, or a place Realtor.com does not know, comes back as a free record with the reason.

### How to use it

1. Paste **Search links** from realtor.com — a city, ZIP code, county, neighborhood or state results page (`/realestateandhomes-search/…`), sold homes (`…/show-recently-sold`) or rentals (`/apartments/…`) — one per line. Or type **Places** and choose **For sale, sold or for rent** and the optional filters.
2. Set **Max results per search**.
3. Press **Start**, and download the results from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.

To follow new listings in an area, type the place, set **Listed in the last (days)** to 1, save the input as a task and schedule it daily.

You can also call it from the Apify API, from Make, Zapier or n8n, or from an AI agent through the Apify MCP server.

### Pricing

You are charged **per home delivered** — see the price on this page. There is no start fee. Links that are not Realtor.com searches and places Realtor.com does not know are free.

### FAQ

**How many homes per search?** All that Realtor.com finds, up to 10,000 — the most Realtor.com shows for one search. A live run read 10,000 of the 12,226 homes for sale in Los Angeles in 302 seconds, every one different. For more, split a search by price or by place.

**Which filters of my link are used?** The link is read the way realtor.com reads it: price, beds, baths, square feet, lot size, home age, home type, HOA, days on realtor.com, hide pending and contingent, new construction, foreclosures, open houses, price reduced, 55+ communities, features (pool, garage, views…), keywords, radius, sort, and sold within; for rentals also cats, dogs, specials and move-in date. A live run checked them: King County condos of 800–1,500 sq ft, HOA up to $500, no pending, cheapest first — all 293, every one inside the filters and in price order; Austin rentals with 2+ beds at $1,200–2,000 that allow cats — 600, all inside. Filters it cannot apply (a school, a commute time, a monthly payment) are left out and named in the run log.

**In which order?** Newest first (sold homes: most recently sold) unless your link or the form asks for another order. Realtor.com's own "relevant" order shifts while you page through it and would repeat or skip homes.

**A whole state?** Yes — type the state (Texas) or paste its link. Only the first 10,000 homes of a search can be read, so a large state is best split into cities or counties.

**Why no sale price for sold homes in Texas?** Texas and a few other states do not make sale prices public: the sale price is empty and `listPrice` has the last list price (all 600 Texas sales in a live run).

**Why do some sold homes have no listing office?** They are sales known only from public records, without an MLS listing (`listedBy: "public record"`): 364 of 2,000 Seattle sales in a live run.

**Why no street for some rentals?** They are listed by landlords themselves through rental platforms: their town and ZIP code are included, the street and map point are not, and `url` is the address-free form of the Realtor.com link. In a live run this was 796 of 2,000 Chicago rentals. Where a listing hides its own address, the map point is left out too.

**Why no agent names or phone numbers?** Every home has its `url`; buyers and renters contact the agent on Realtor.com.

**Is this affiliated with Realtor.com?** No. This is an independent tool that reads public Realtor.com listings.
