## Pricing

from $1.10 / 1,000 apps

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## App Store & Google Play Scraper (Search, Charts, Details)

Get app intelligence from **Google Play and the Apple App Store in one run**: keyword **search rankings**, **top free / paid / grossing charts** by country and category, **full app details**, **similar apps** and a **developer's whole portfolio**. Ratings, rating counts, installs, prices, in-app purchases, versions, update dates, descriptions and screenshots. No login.

### What you can use it for

- **ASO (App Store Optimization):** track where apps rank for your keywords in each country, every day.
- **Competitor tracking:** watch competitors' ratings, installs, versions and release notes.
- **Market research:** see what is climbing the top-grossing charts in a country or category.
- **Lead generation for app services:** find developers in a category for marketing, localization or dev-shop outreach (company websites included).
- **Investors and analysts:** compare installs and ratings across both stores.

### Modes

| Mode | Input | Output |
|---|---|---|
| Keyword search | Search terms | Apps in store ranking order, with `rank` |
| Top charts | Chart (free/paid/grossing), optional category | Chart positions with `rank` |
| App details | Play links/packages, App Store links/IDs | Full details per app |
| Similar apps | Apps | Apps the store shows as similar |
| Developer's apps | Developer names/IDs | Every app by that developer |

Choose the **country** (us, in, gb, de, ae...) and **language** for store-specific results.

```json
{
  "mode": "search",
  "stores": ["googlePlay", "appStore"],
  "searchTerms": ["meditation", "budget tracker"],
  "country": "us",
  "maxResultsPerQuery": 20,
  "fullDetails": true
}
```

### Output

One row per app (real output, October 2026; shortened):

```json
{
  "store": "googlePlay",
  "query": "meditation",
  "rank": 1,
  "appId": "com.spotlightsix.zentimerlite2",
  "title": "Insight Timer - Meditation App",
  "developer": "Insight Network Inc",
  "score": 4.7,
  "ratings": 263175,
  "installs": "10,000,000+",
  "price": 0,
  "free": true,
  "genre": "Health & Fitness",
  "contentRating": "Everyone",
  "offersInAppPurchases": true,
  "updated": "2026-10-15T14:52:11.000Z",
  "version": "20.37.0",
  "url": "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spotlightsix.zentimerlite2&hl=en&gl=us"
}
```

App Store rows add the numeric App Store ID, size, supported languages and minimum iOS version. Google Play rows add installs (range and exact estimate), rating histogram, ad support and in-app price range.

### Pricing

Pay per app saved: **$1.50 per 1,000 apps** on paid Apify plans (less on Scale and Business), including full details.

### Tips

- Turn off **Full details** for very fast rank tracking when you only need positions.
- Schedule a daily keyword search to build your own ranking history.
