## Pricing

from $3.20 / 1,000 company checkeds

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Ads Advertiser Checker: Who Runs Ads?

Check a list of **company websites or names** against the Google Ads Transparency Center. One row per company: **does it advertise**, the advertiser behind it, **Google's ad count estimate**, ad formats, **latest ad date**, whether it was **active in the last 30 days**, the domains it promotes and sample ads. Fast, no login.

### What you can use it for

- **Agency lead generation:** find which prospects already spend on Google Ads (and which don't).
- **Sales qualification:** add an "advertises on Google" flag and ad volume to your CRM leads.
- **Competitor checks:** see who advertises in your market and how actively.
- **Market research:** ad activity across a list of brands in one table.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Companies to check | Domains (nike.com), names (Notion), advertiser IDs (AR...) or Ads Transparency links. |
| Country | Only ads shown in one country, or anywhere. |
| Sample ads per company | Links to the most recently shown ads (0 to 10). |

```json
{
  "targets": ["nike.com", "zomato.com", "Notion"],
  "region": "anywhere",
  "sampleAds": 3
}
```

### Output

One row per company (real output, October 2026; shortened):

```json
{
  "input": "zomato.com",
  "matchedBy": "domain",
  "advertises": true,
  "advertiserId": "AR16617001693950771201",
  "advertiserName": "ETERNAL LIMITED",
  "advertisersFound": 6,
  "adsEstimateLow": 800,
  "adsEstimateHigh": 900,
  "formatsInSample": { "VIDEO": 30, "TEXT": 8, "IMAGE": 2 },
  "latestAdShown": "2026-10-20T10:08:47.000Z",
  "activeLast30Days": true,
  "domainsAdvertised": ["zomato.com"],
  "transparencyUrl": "https://adstransparency.google.com/?domain=zomato.com"
}
```

For a domain, several advertisers can run ads that point to it (agencies and resellers), so `advertisers` lists them with their ad counts, and the biggest leads. Companies with no ads come back with `advertises: false`.

### Pricing

**$4 per 1,000 companies checked** on paid Apify plans, less on Scale and Business.

### Tips

- Domains give the most exact results; names pick the advertiser with the most ads.
- Need every ad of an advertiser with images and dates? Use our Google Ads Transparency Scraper.

# Actor input Schema

## `targets` (type: `array`):

Website domains (nike.com), company names (Notion), advertiser IDs (AR...) or Ads Transparency links. One per line. Domains give the most exact match.

## `region` (type: `string`):

Only ads shown in this country. Use a 2-letter code (US, IN, GB, DE, AE...) or "anywhere".

## `sampleAds` (type: `integer`):

Links to the most recently shown ads, 0 to 10.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Residential proxy is recommended: Google blocks repeated requests from one IP quickly.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "targets": [
    "nike.com",
    "zomato.com",
    "Notion"
  ],
  "region": "US",
  "sampleAds": 3,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ]
  }
}
