## Pricing

from $0.75 / 1,000 posts

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Telegram Channel Scraper

Scrape posts from any **public Telegram channel**: full text, date, views, reactions, photos, videos, files, links, hashtags, forwards and link previews, plus the channel's title, description and subscriber count. Filter by **keyword** and **date**. No Telegram account, no phone number, no API keys.

### What you can use it for

- **Market and crypto signals:** monitor news, trading and crypto channels on a schedule.
- **Brand and media monitoring:** track what channels say about a keyword.
- **Content research:** find the posts with the most views and reactions in a niche.
- **Datasets for AI:** clean text with dates and engagement for analysis or RAG.
- **Channel due diligence:** subscribers, posting frequency and engagement before you buy ads.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Public channels | `durov`, `@durov` or `https://t.me/durov`. |
| Max posts per channel | Newest first. |
| Only posts containing | Telegram's own in-channel search (also matches link previews). |
| Only posts after | Stops at this date: ideal for daily schedules. |
| Add channel info | Channel title, description, subscribers and verified badge on every row. |

```json
{
  "channels": ["telegram", "https://t.me/durov"],
  "maxPostsPerChannel": 500,
  "searchQuery": "AI",
  "postedAfter": "2026-01-01"
}
```

### Output

```json
### Pricing
Pay per post saved: **$1.00 per 1,000 posts** on paid Apify plans (less on Scale and Business). Set a spending limit per run and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.
### Limits
- Works only for channels that have a public web preview at `t.me/s/<channel>`. Private channels, groups and bots are skipped with a warning.
- Custom (premium) emoji reactions are reported as `custom` with their count.
### FAQ
**Do I need a Telegram account?** No. The Actor reads the public web preview that Telegram itself publishes for every public channel.
**Is this legal?** It reads only public channel posts that Telegram shows to anyone on the web. It does not collect member lists or phone numbers.
# Actor input Schema
## `channels` (type: `array`):
One per line: a username (durov), @durov, or a link (https://t.me/durov). Only public channels with a web preview work; private channels and groups are skipped.
## `maxPostsPerChannel` (type: `integer`):
Newest posts first. You pay per post saved.
## `searchQuery` (type: `string`):
Uses Telegram's own in-channel search, e.g. "bitcoin" or "#jobs".
## `postedAfter` (type: `string`):
Stop when posts get older than this date, e.g. 2026-09-01. Great for daily scheduled runs.
## `includeChannelInfo` (type: `boolean`):
Channel title, description, subscriber count and verified badge on every row.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Usually not needed. Turn on for very large runs.
## Actor input object example
```json
{
  "channels": [
    "telegram",
    "durov"
  ],
  "maxPostsPerChannel": 50,
  "includeChannelInfo": true,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `results` (type: `string`):
