## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AliExpress Search Scraper: Products, Prices & Sales

Search AliExpress for any keyword and get every product in the results as clean data: title, price, original price, discount, rating, units sold, image, product URL and whether the result is sponsored.

**Built to be reliable.** It reads AliExpress search pages over plain HTTP (no headless browser), with automatic retries on fresh proxy addresses. In our test of 180 different searches, 180 returned full results (60 products per page).

### What you can do with it

- **Product research for dropshipping:** find what sells (sort by most orders) and at what price.
- **Price monitoring:** track prices and discounts of a niche over time (schedule the Actor daily).
- **Market sizing:** see how many products and sellers compete for a keyword.
- **Feed AI agents:** give a shopping or research agent live AliExpress data in one call.

### Input

```json
{ "queries": ["yoga mat", "usb c cable"], "max_results_per_query": 120, "sort": "orders", "currency": "USD", "ship_to": "US" }
```

| --- | --- |
| `queries` | Searches, up to 20 per run. |
| `max_results_per_query` | Up to 1,200 products per search (60 per page). |

### Pricing

**$2.50 per 1,000 products** ($0.0025 per product). No start fee beyond Apify's tiny Actor start event. Searches that fail are not charged, and the Actor never goes over the maximum cost you set for a run.

**Free plan:** up to 100 products per run, free.

### FAQ

**Why are prices different from what I see?** Prices follow the ship-to country and currency you choose, like on the website. Set `ship_to` and `currency` to match.

**Does it scrape product pages or reviews?** Not yet: this Actor covers search results. Product details and reviews may come in a later version.
