## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Intent Radar: Hiring, Google Ads & SEO Signals by Domain

Give it a list of company websites. For each company you get one short report that answers the questions sales teams and AI SDR agents actually ask before reaching out:

- **Are they hiring?** Open jobs, how many were posted in the last 30 days, which departments, remote share and the tech stack mentioned in job ads. Read live from their job board (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee).
- **Are they spending on ads?** Whether they run Google ads right now, how many ads, which formats, and who the advertisers are (from Google's Ads Transparency Center).
- **Is their website growing?** Estimated monthly organic search visits, ranking keywords, traffic value and the SEO trend (growing / stable / declining).
- **What do they use for email?** Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and more, from public DNS records.

Every report ends with an **intent score (0–100)** and a **one-line summary**, so an AI agent can read one sentence instead of a long JSON.

### Why it is built for AI agents

- **One call, one company, one short answer.** No chaining of four tools.
- **Compact output.** The `summary` field is a single line, for example:
  `stripe.com: hiring: 412 open jobs (38 new in 30 days, mostly Engineering); running Google ads now (2.1k ads); ~3.4M organic visits/month (stable); email: Google Workspace. Intent score 85/100.`
- Works from the Apify MCP server, n8n, Make, Zapier, Clay (HTTP) and the Apify API.

### Input

```json
{ "domains": ["stripe.com", "notion.so"], "country": "US", "include_jobs": false }
```

| Field | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| `domains` | Company websites (full URLs are fine). Up to 100 per run. |
| `country` | Country for the organic traffic estimate. Default `US`. |
| `include_jobs` | Also return the 5 newest job titles. |

### Output (one record per company)

```json
{
  "domain": "stripe.com",
  "intent_score": 85,
  "summary": "stripe.com: hiring: 412 open jobs ...",
  "hiring": true,
  "ats": "greenhouse",
  "open_jobs": 412,
  "jobs_posted_last_30_days": 38,
  "remote_jobs": 61,
  "top_departments": ["Engineering", "Sales"],
  "hiring_technologies": ["Python", "AWS", "Kubernetes"],
  "runs_google_ads": true,
  "ads_running_now": true,
  "total_google_ads": 2100,
  "organic_traffic_monthly": 3400000,
  "seo_trend": "stable",
  "paid_search_keywords": 950,
  "email_provider": "Google Workspace"
}
```

`hiring: null` means we did not find a job board on a supported system (the company may use Workday or its own site). That is different from `hiring: false` (the board exists and is empty).

### Pricing

**$0.03 per company report.** You are charged only when the full report was produced. If one of the data sources fails, you get what we have, free. The Actor never goes over the maximum cost you set for a run.

**Free plan:** hiring and email signals for up to 5 companies per run, free. Google ads and SEO traffic need a paid Apify plan, because they have a real data cost.

### Use cases

- **Prioritize outbound lists:** sort accounts by `intent_score` and start with companies that are hiring and advertising.
- **Trigger-based outreach:** a company that just opened 20 sales jobs or started running ads is in growth mode.
- **Agency prospecting:** find businesses that already pay for Google ads but have weak organic traffic.
- **AI SDR agents:** give your agent one tool that answers "is this account worth contacting now?"
