## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Jobs Scraper: Job Listings, Salaries & Apply Links

**Search Google Jobs like a person would, and get the results as clean JSON.** Give it job searches such as "data engineer" or "nurse night shift", a country or a city, and get every listing Google shows: title, company, location, salary, contract type, posting date and the link to apply.

No proxies, no browser, no blocked runs. Works in 90+ countries, for a whole country or a single city with a radius. Sized for AI agents (MCP), n8n, Make and bulk lists alike.

### What you can ask it

- "Which companies in Austin are hiring data engineers right now, and what do they pay?"
- "Give me 200 remote product manager jobs posted in the US this week."
- "Track new nursing jobs in London every morning."
- "Which job boards list the most openings for my target role?"
- "Find companies that are hiring for sales roles, as leads for my recruiting agency."

### Input

Only `queries` is required.

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `queries` | array of strings | *required* | Job searches, as you would type them into Google. Up to 50 per run. |
| `country` | string | `US` | Two-letter country code. |
| `location` | string | whole country | A city or region inside the country, written as `City,Region`, for example `Austin,Texas` or `London,England`. |
| `radius_km` | integer | city default | With a city only: search up to this many kilometers around it (1–300). |
| `max_jobs_per_query` | integer | `50` | Jobs to return per search, at most 200. |
| `employment_types` | array | all | Any of `fulltime`, `partime`, `contractor`, `intern`. |
| `language` | string | country's main language | Language code, for countries with several languages. |

#### Example: one role in one city

```json
{
    "queries": ["data engineer"],
    "country": "US",
    "location": "Austin,Texas",
    "radius_km": 40,
    "max_jobs_per_query": 100
}
```

#### Example: several roles across a country, full-time only

```json
{
    "queries": ["account executive", "sales development representative", "customer success manager"],
    "country": "GB",
    "employment_types": ["fulltime"]
}
```

### Output

One record per job:

```json
{
    "query": "data engineer",
    "country": "US",
    "position": 1,
    "title": "Senior Data Engineer",
    "company": "Acme Corp",
    "company_url": "https://acme.com",
    "company_logo_url": "https://...",
    "location": "Austin, TX",
    "contract_type": "Full-time",
    "salary": "$140K–$180K a year",
    "salary_min": 140000,
    "salary_max": 180000,
    "salary_currency": "USD",
    "salary_period": "year",
    "posted_at": "2026-10-12 10:00:00 +00:00",
    "posted_ago": "2 days ago",
    "source": "LinkedIn",
    "apply_url": "https://...",
    "google_job_id": "...",
    "scraped_at": "2026-10-14T12:00:00Z"
}
```

Salary fields are filled only when Google shows a salary. `salary_min` and `salary_max` are parsed from the text, so double-check unusual formats.

**What is not included:** the full job description text. Each record links to the original posting (`apply_url`), where the description lives.

A search that finds nothing returns one record with a `note`, and is not charged.

### Pricing

Pay per event: you pay for searches that returned jobs, and for each job returned. Empty searches cost nothing. Set a maximum cost per run in Apify and the Actor stops before it is reached.

**Free Apify plan:** try it for free. Each run returns real data for the first 10 jobs of your first search, marked with a `note`. Paid plans get the full results: up to 200 jobs per search and 50 searches per run. The free preview depends on availability and can be paused at times; when it is paused, the run returns one explanatory record per search and charges nothing.

### How it works

The Actor queries Google Jobs through a commercial search-data API on a priority queue. Each search usually takes about a minute; up to 10 searches run in parallel. There are no proxies or headless browsers to break.

### Use with AI agents

Add it to Claude, Cursor or any MCP client through Apify's MCP server: `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=hirepulse/google-jobs-scraper`. The agent can then call it with a plain JSON input like the examples above.

### Notes

- Results reflect what Google Jobs shows at the moment of the search, for the chosen country, city and language.
- Not affiliated with Google.
