## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Jobs Scraper: every job from any myworkdayjobs.com career site, past the 2,000 limit

Paste any **Workday career site** link (`https://<company>.wdN.myworkdayjobs.com/<site>`) and get **every open job** with **title, locations, country, posted date, job ID, full-time / part-time, full description and the apply link**.

**Gets past Workday's 2,000-result limit.** Workday's career sites stop at 2,000 results. When a site has more, this Actor automatically splits the search by the site's own filters (location, job family, ...) and merges the results, so large employers come back complete. Example: NVIDIA's site shows "2,000" but has 2,711 open jobs; this Actor returns all 2,711.

No login, no proxies, no browser: it reads the same public JSON the career site loads in your browser, so runs are fast and cheap. It respects each site's robots.txt.

### Who uses it

- **Sales and GTM teams**: hiring is a buying signal. Many large companies hire through Workday; watch your target accounts and act when they post roles in your area.
- **Recruiters and staffing agencies**: see new openings at client and target companies the day they appear.
- **Job boards and newsletters**: feed boards with fresh, structured postings from big employers.
- **Market research**: hiring volume by country, team and role over time.

### How to scrape Workday jobs

1. Open the company's careers page. If the address contains `myworkdayjobs.com` (or `myworkdaysite.com/recruiting`), copy it into **Workday career site URLs**. Add as many companies as you like.
2. Optional: **Search text** (same as the site's search box), **Max jobs per site**, **Include full job details** off for a faster list.
3. Run it, or create a **Schedule** (e.g. daily) with **Only new jobs** on. Export as JSON, CSV or Excel, or connect it to Make, Zapier, Google Sheets or a webhook.

#### Input example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite",
    "https://adobe.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/external_experienced"
  ],
  "searchText": "",
  "onlyNew": true,
  "includeDetails": true
}
```

### Workday job data output

One row per job:

```json
{
  "source": "workday",
  "company": "adobe",
  "careerSite": "https://adobe.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/external_experienced",
  "hiringOrganization": "NDIN-Adobe Systems India Private Limited",
  "jobId": "R169928",
  "title": "Enterprise Architect",
  "location": "Bangalore",
  "allLocations": ["Bangalore", "Noida"],
  "country": "India",
  "isRemote": false,
  "timeType": "Full time",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-05",
  "postedOnText": "Posted 16 Days Ago",
  "url": "https://adobe.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/external_experienced/job/Bangalore/Enterprise-Architect_R169928",
  "description": "Enterprise Architect\n\nPosition Summary\n\nAs an Enterprise Architect at Adobe, ...",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-21T07:47:35.050Z"
}
```

A run summary (jobs found per site, sites that failed and why) is saved as `OUTPUT` in the run's key-value store. Sites that fail are not charged.

### Only new jobs (monitoring)

With **Only new jobs** on, the Actor remembers which jobs were open on each site at the end of every run (in a key-value store in your account named `workday-jobs-seen`). The next run returns only jobs that were not open last time, and skips opening the old ones, so daily runs are quick and cheap. The first run returns everything. A job that closes and later reopens counts as new again.

### How much does it cost to scrape Workday jobs?

$2.00 per 1,000 jobs. Pay per result: you pay for each job returned, nothing for sites that fail or return no jobs. Set a **maximum cost per run** in the run options and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.

### Limits

- **Workday only.** For Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee and Personio use our [Greenhouse Jobs Scraper (ATS Jobs Monitor)](https://apify.com/hiresignal-data/ats-jobs-monitor).
- Without full details, `postedAt` is exact only for jobs posted in the last 30 days (Workday's list shows "30+ Days Ago" after that); with details on, it is the posting date Workday shows.
- `company` is the Workday company code from the address (e.g. `nvidia`). `hiringOrganization` is the legal entity Workday shows on the posting, when it has one.
- Very large sites (several thousand jobs) take a few minutes with details on.

### Is it legal to scrape Workday job postings?

This Actor reads publicly listed job postings that each company publishes to attract applicants, and follows the site's robots.txt. Job postings are not personal data. You are responsible for how you use the data; check the terms that apply to your use case.

## `searchText` (type: `string`):

Optional keyword search, same as the search box on the career site (for example: engineer).

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):
