## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Jobs Scraper & API + Career Page Scraper: All Open Jobs by Company

**A Workday jobs scraper and API, and a career page scraper, for a list of companies: type company names, websites or Workday career-site URLs, get their current job postings from their own career sites in one format.** The Actor finds each company's career board on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Recruitee, Oracle Recruiting (Oracle HCM, also when the career site runs on the employer's own domain), ADP MyJobs, Eightfold, Phenom, iCIMS career sites built on Jibe, Amazon.jobs, Rippling, Personio, Teamtailor, Breezy HR, Avature (for example Deloitte), the own career sites of Apple, IBM and Goldman Sachs, and any career site that publishes a job sitemap with schema.org JobPosting data (for example Radancy/TalentBrew sites), tells you which one it used, and lists companies it cannot confirm instead of guessing.

![Company names in, every open job out: real output rows from a test run on 2026-10-08](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hiver-data/all-open-jobs-by-company/main/media/jobs-by-company/readme.gif)

[Watch the 1-minute walkthrough (MP4)](https://github.com/hiver-data/all-open-jobs-by-company/blob/main/media/jobs-by-company/walkthrough.mp4)

Unofficial, not affiliated with Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Recruitee, Oracle Recruiting (Oracle HCM), ADP, Eightfold, Phenom, iCIMS/Jibe, Rippling, Personio, Teamtailor, Breezy HR, Avature or any of the other platforms named here or with any company whose jobs you read. The Actor reads only the public job-board data that each company already publishes for anyone to view. It does not log in, needs no API key and does not collect data about applicants or employees.

### Measured against the alternatives

Benchmarked on 2026-10-10 (build 0.3.22) against two other Store Actors that take company names or websites and find each company's job board themselves (the most-used Actor of this kind today, with 40 monthly users on 2026-10-13, was not in this bench). All three got the same four test cases, 11 companies: Stripe, Ramp and Spotify (websites and names mixed); NVIDIA, Salesforce and Airbnb by name only; one Stripe job and one NVIDIA job whose pay range appears only in the posting text; and Casey's, Kroger, Home Depot, Walgreens and Compass Group by name only. Every answer was checked against each company's real job board, read from the board's public API.

| | This Actor | Best alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Checks passed (job URL on the company's real board, job system named correctly, pay range) | 22 of 22 (100%) | 15 of 22 (68%) |
| Same checks, companies entered by name only (8 companies) | 12 of 12 | 9 of 12 |
| Pay range read from the posting text (one Stripe job, one NVIDIA job) | 2 of 2 | 0 of 2 |
| Test cases that returned the companies' jobs | 4 of 4 | 3 of 4 (the other: 1 of 4) |
| Job fields filled (company, title, URL, location, date, department, source, pay) | 88% | 58% |

"Best alternative" is the better of the two other Actors on each row. Both finish faster (3.3 s and 19.3 s per test case on average, vs 39.5 s). Eleven companies is a small sample; later builds have not been benched again yet.

**In Google Sheets:** a free Apps Script template puts every open job for the companies in column A into a sheet, with a Matches tab and a daily tab of new jobs only: [company-hiring-tracker-sheet on GitHub](https://github.com/hiver-data/company-hiring-tracker-sheet). Python and Node.js examples: [all-open-jobs-by-company on GitHub](https://github.com/hiver-data/all-open-jobs-by-company).

### What you get

For each open job: company, job title, direct job URL and apply URL, department and team, employment type, workplace type (remote, hybrid, onsite), location(s) with city, region and country where available, posting date, salary range and currency where the company publishes one, and the full description as plain text and HTML. Every job has the same fields, so you can combine results from many companies.

### Who uses this

- **Recruiters and sourcers** tracking which target companies are hiring for which roles.
- **Sales and growth teams** using new job posts as a buying signal (a company hiring its first data engineer is about to buy data tooling).
- **Job boards and aggregators** feeding fresh listings from company career pages.
- **Analysts and researchers** measuring hiring trends, remote share and pay transparency by company.
- **AI agents and automations** that need a current, structured list of jobs on demand.

### How to use

1. Add companies. Each entry is a company name (`Spotify`) or website (`stripe.com`). A website gives the most reliable match. To skip matching, give `source:name` such as `lever:spotify` or paste the career-site address.
2. Optionally filter by title keywords, location, department, remote only, or how recently a job was posted.
3. Run it. Results are in the dataset and can be downloaded as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read through the API.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `companies` | Required. The companies to read. |
| `titleKeywords`, `excludeTitleKeywords` | Keep or drop jobs by words in the title. |
| `locations`, `departments` | `locations`: a country name or code (`United States`, `US`, `UK`) matches the job's `country` (ISO-2, from the board's own fields or office list); `CA` alone means Canada; other terms (`London`, `Remote`) match whole words in the location text. `departments`: department or team contains one of your words. |
| `remoteOnly` | Keep only jobs marked remote. |
| `postedWithinDays` | Keep only jobs posted in the last N days. |
| `onlyNewSinceLastRun` | For scheduled monitoring: the first run delivers all open jobs and remembers them; later runs deliver (and charge) only jobs not delivered before. |
| `includeDescription` | Include the full description (default on). |
| `maxJobsPerCompany`, `maxJobs` | Caps. `maxJobs` also caps what you are charged. |

Example input:

```json
{
  "companies": [
    "stripe.com",
    "Spotify",
    "nvidia.com"
### How many companies it finds (measured, not promised)
Tested on lists of 100 companies in October 2026 that mix US large caps, mid-size SaaS and European companies, entered by name only:
- **About 70 of 100 companies matched** (69 to 70 after the fixes; the full list was not re-run) (the remaining 30 were reported as unmatched and cost nothing). A smaller list of 50 mostly well-known tech names matched 39 of 50.
- **Big employers by name:** on a list of 25 well-known large employers typed by name only (Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Walmart, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Pfizer and 15 more), 20 matched in our Lab's local run of build 0.4.16 on 2026-10-15 (16 before; not benched yet). Full reads the same day: Apple 6,038 of the 6,038 jobs its career site lists, IBM 2,420 of 2,420, Goldman Sachs 873 (its site showed 872-873), Deloitte 1,398, every posting its apply.deloitte.com portal lists. Meta, Tesla, McKinsey, Uber and UnitedHealth Group are reported unmatched: their career sites refuse or time out on automated reads, and the Actor does not work around that.
- **50 more large US employers the Lab had not tried before:** typed by name only (Salesforce, Cisco, Home Depot, Verizon, Wells Fargo, Citigroup, FedEx, Caterpillar, Merck, CVS Health, Marriott and 39 more), 43 matched on build 0.4.17 and 47 on build 0.4.18 (UPS on a second try after a timeout), both in our Lab's local runs on 2026-10-15, not benched yet. Build 0.4.18 added AT\&T, Kroger, Anthem (now Elevance Health) and Raytheon (now RTX). Best Buy, Walgreens and Delta Air Lines are reported unmatched: one job site sends automated readers to a login, one does not resolve from our servers and one blocks automated reads, and the Actor does not work around that.
- Largest gaps: big enterprises that run custom or in-house career sites with no public job feed, and some European fintechs on platforms we do not read yet.
- **Wrong matches:** reviewing those 100 results by hand we found 3 (Waste Management resolved to a publisher, Emerson to a college, Tide, the UK bank, to a detergent brand's careers site). The first two are fixed in this version; the Tide kind, a name shared by unrelated businesses, can still happen. Enter the company website (such as `tide.co`) or pin the board (`lever:spotify`) when a name is ambiguous, and check the COMPANY_MATCHES record, which shows the board and the evidence for every match.
- Typical speed: about 1 minute per company by name (faster with a website or a pinned board); companies are matched in parallel.
### Pricing
Pay per event, no subscription: **$0.03 per company for all its open jobs, up to 1,000**, descriptions included. A company with fewer than 20 jobs in a run is billed per job instead, so it costs less. A company that is not found or has no open jobs costs nothing. `maxJobs` caps what a run can charge, and you can also set a maximum cost per run in Apify.
| Apify plan | Per company (20 or more jobs, up to 1,000) | Per job (company with fewer than 20 jobs) | Each further 1,000 jobs of one company |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free / Bronze | $0.03 | $0.0015 | $0.01 |
| Silver | $0.027 | $0.00135 | $0.01 |
| Gold | $0.024 | $0.0012 | $0.01 |
**Worked examples (Free plan; board sizes read from the companies' public job boards on 2026-10-13):** Stripe (723 open jobs) costs $0.03, and so does Discord (47). A company with 12 open jobs costs $0.018 (12 x $0.0015). A company with 1,450 jobs would cost $0.04 ($0.03 + $0.01). Ten companies with 20 or more jobs each cost $0.30 per run, however many jobs they list.
**Monitoring with `onlyNewSinceLastRun`:** later runs deliver only new jobs, so a company with fewer than 20 new jobs costs $0.0015 per new job, and one with 20 or more new jobs costs one company price.
### Good to know
- **Country filter from the employer's own record:** `locations: ["United States"]` (or `US`, `UK`, `Germany`) matches the country the job system records for each job (for example Lever's `country` field or the Greenhouse office list; else the country its place text names), and every row carries `country` (ISO-2) and `countries`. Many postings never write the country: of Palantir's 235 Lever postings with country `US`, none says "United States" or "USA" in its location ("New York, NY", "Washington, D.C."). Our Lab's replay against 11 public boards' own APIs (8 Greenhouse, 3 Lever), 2026-10-11: a `United States` filter keeps all 2,644 jobs the boards place in the US and a `United Kingdom` filter all 396 UK jobs; 99.8% and 100% of what it keeps is in that country (the text matching used before 2026-10-11: 17% and 73%). A job whose board gives only a city and no country has `country: null`; add the city as a second term. **Workday jobs posted in several places:** Workday's job list shows such a job only as `"2 Locations"`, so since build 0.4.11 the Actor reads that job's own record for its real locations and country, with `includeDescription` on or off. In our Lab's local run of the live code on 2026-10-15 (04:55 UTC), NVIDIA's Workday board with `locations: ["United States"]` and descriptions off returned 1,409 jobs in 162 seconds, every row with country `US` and none labelled "N Locations" (a run with descriptions on earlier that day returned 1,411). Before the fix, the same descriptions-off filter missed 530 of them.
- Salary fields are filled where the job board publishes them, and otherwise from a pay range written in the posting text (Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday), even when includeDescription is off. Several ranges in one posting (levels, locations) give the lowest minimum and the highest maximum. No range in the text means empty fields, never a guess.
- **Workday:** type the company name or paste its career-site address, on `myworkdayjobs.com` (`https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`) or on `myworkdaysite.com` (`https://wd1.myworkdaysite.com/en-US/recruiting/fmr/FidelityCareers`). On the 2026-10-10 bench, three Workday employers typed by name only (NVIDIA, Salesforce, Home Depot) passed every check: their jobs link to the company's real career board, and Salesforce's job system is named as Workday. `myworkdaysite.com` sites are read since 2026-10-15: in the Lab's local run of that code on 2026-10-14, the pasted addresses of Fidelity, Mondelez and the University of Pennsylvania returned 803 of 806, 1,372 of 1,374 and 470 of 470 of the jobs Workday lists for them (not benched yet).
- **Workday boards past 2,000 jobs:** many Workday boards answer at most 2,000 jobs per search, so the Actor splits a bigger board's search by job category and location and merges the parts. NVIDIA: all 2,714 jobs on its Workday board in a 2-minute local run on 2026-10-14. **The very largest boards are read in full:** in local runs on 2026-10-15 (512 MB), Target returned 14,166 of the 14,170 jobs Workday lists in 170 s, CVS Health 19,828 of 19,819 (a few new postings) in 111 s and Lowe's 12,781 of 12,784 in 66 s, without descriptions; with descriptions the same runs take 12-14 minutes (default run timeout 20 minutes). You pay only for the jobs delivered.
- Data is read live on each run, so it reflects what the company shows at that moment. Jobs closed by the company disappear from the source and from your next run.
- Every entry gets a verdict in the COMPANY_MATCHES record of the run (key-value store): matched (with the board and the evidence) or unmatched (with the reason). A company is matched only when its own website links to the board, the board names the company, or the job ads do. Anything weaker is reported as unmatched, never guessed. Large companies often run several career sites (for example students or a subsidiary); all confirmed ones are read. Each job has an inputCompany field with the entry that produced it.
- The Actor reads at a polite pace and retries when a source asks it to slow down.
- Something broken or a field missing? Open an issue on this Actor's page with your input and the run link.
### FAQ
**Does it need a login or API key?** No. It reads public job-board data only.
**Can it find companies for me?** It finds the career board for each company you name; it does not suggest companies.
**Which sources are covered?** Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Recruitee, Oracle Recruiting (Oracle HCM, also when the career site runs on the employer's own domain), ADP MyJobs, Eightfold, Phenom, iCIMS career sites built on Jibe, Amazon.jobs, Rippling, Personio, Teamtailor, Breezy HR, Avature (for example Deloitte), the own career sites of Apple, IBM and Goldman Sachs, and any career site that publishes a job sitemap with schema.org JobPosting data (for example Radancy/TalentBrew sites).
**Is it legal to use this data?** The data is what each company publishes publicly for job seekers. You are responsible for how you use it and for following the rules that apply to you.
**What are the rate limits?** The Actor reads at a polite pace, retries when a source slows it down and stops asking a source that keeps refusing; it never tries to get around a limit. The run log says what was skipped.
**How many jobs can I get per run?** As many as the sources list, up to your `maxJobs` cap. Jobs closed by the employer disappear from the source and from your next run.
**Is it affiliated with the job systems or companies?** No. Unofficial, not affiliated with or endorsed by any job-board vendor or employer; it reads only public job data and no applicant or employee data.
**Something is broken or a field is missing?** Open an issue on the Actor page.
# Actor input Schema
## `companies` (type: `array`):
One entry per company: a company name ("Spotify") or website ("stripe.com"). The Actor finds the career board itself and tells you which one it used. You can also pin a board with "source:name" (lever:spotify, greenhouse:airbnb, ashby:ashby, smartrecruiters:Ubisoft2, workable:huggingface, recruitee:bunq, oracle:jpmc.fa.oraclecloud.com/CX_1001, adp:caseysstore, eightfold:citi.eightfold.ai/citi.com, phenom:talent.lowes.com/us/en) or paste a career-site address.
## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):
Keep only jobs whose title contains at least one of these words (not case sensitive). Leave empty for all jobs.
## `excludeTitleKeywords` (type: `array`):
Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words.
## `locations` (type: `array`):
Keep jobs in these places. A country name or code ("United States", "US", "USA", "United Kingdom", "UK", "Germany", "DE") matches the job's country, read from the job board's own country field or office list (whole words only: "US" never matches inside another word). "CA" alone means Canada (California is "California" or "San Francisco, CA"). Any other term ("Berlin", "Austin", "Remote") matches whole words in the job's location text. Leave empty for anywhere.
## `departments` (type: `array`):
Keep only jobs whose department or team contains one of these words, e.g. "Engineering".
## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):
Keep only jobs the company marks as remote.
## `jobTypes` (type: `array`):
Keep only jobs of these types (jobType field), applied before maxJobs. Read from the board's employment type, the title ('Intern', 'Co-op') or an explicit statement in the posting text ('Employment type: Full-time', 'this is a contract role'). Leave empty for all jobs.
## `includeUnknownJobType` (type: `boolean`):
With job types set, also keep jobs whose type is not stated (jobType: null). Off by default: they are left out.
## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):
Keep only recently posted jobs. Leave empty for all open jobs.
## `onlyNewSinceLastRun` (type: `boolean`):
For scheduled monitoring. The first run delivers every open job and remembers them (in a key-value store named hiver-jobs-seen under your account); later runs deliver and charge only for jobs that were not delivered before. Use the same companies each time.
## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):
Adds descriptionText and descriptionHtml to each job. Same price either way; turn off for a faster run.
## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):
Stop after this many matching jobs per company. Leave empty for every open job. The form starts at 20 so a first test run is quick and costs cents; clear it for the full list.
## `maxJobs` (type: `integer`):
Hard cap on jobs delivered (and charged) in this run. Leave empty for no limit.
