## Pricing

from $3.00 / 1,000 tender saveds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Public Tenders Monitor: EU TED, UK & Brazil Government Bids

Get **open government tenders from 30+ countries in one clean table**. This Actor reads four official public-procurement sources and normalizes them into the same columns:

- **EU TED** (Tenders Electronic Daily): all EU/EEA contract notices above EU thresholds, searchable in every language
- **UK Find a Tender**: UK public-sector opportunities (including below-threshold under the Procurement Act)
- **UK Contracts Finder**: UK lower-value opportunities
- **Brazil PNCP**: every federal, state and municipal "licitação" (pregão, concorrência...)

No API keys, no logins, no browser. All four are official open-data APIs. Competitively priced: you pay only for tenders saved after your filters.

### Try it in under a minute

1. Keep the default sample (`keywords: ["software"]`, last 3 days, all four sources, only still-open) or add your own keywords / countries / CPV prefixes.
2. Click **Start**, then open **Dataset → Overview** for title, buyer, country, value, deadline, source and link.
3. Export JSON, CSV or Excel, or connect Make / Zapier / n8n / the API.
4. For daily bid alerts: turn on **Only tenders not seen before**, sort by deadline, and schedule the Actor once a day.

### Who uses it

- **B2B companies that sell to government** (IT, cleaning, construction, consulting, medical supplies): daily bid alerts across markets.
- **Bid writers and tender consultants**: one feed for several clients and countries.
- **Market researchers and analysts**: public-spend trends by sector (CPV) and country.
- **Sales teams**: buyers' names, and for UK notices buyer contact emails, for relationship building.

### Features

- **Keywords** (any match) and **exclude keywords**. TED runs a server-side full-text search in all languages; tip: add local words like "limpeza" or "Reinigung".
- **Country filter** for TED, **state (UF)** and **procurement type** filter for Brazil.
- **CPV prefix filter** (e.g. 72 = IT services, 48 = software, 45 = construction).
- **Value range** (in the notice's currency) and **only still-open tenders** (default on).
- **Sort** by newest, closest deadline, or highest value, applied before your cap.
- **Monitor mode**: only tenders you have not seen before. Schedule daily for bid alerts by email, Slack or webhook.
- **One normalized schema**: title, buyer, country, value, currency, published date, deadline, days left, procedure, CPV codes, contacts, official link.
- No duplicates: one row per notice id.

```
The `OUTPUT` record has per-source counts, filters used and the licence of each source.
### Why this Actor
- **Several countries, one table**: no need to run and merge separate single-source scrapers.
- **Official sources only**, with licences documented in every run summary.
- **Built for daily alerts**: monitor mode, deadline sort and "only open" by default.
- **Pay per saved tender**: notices removed by filters are free; cap spend with Max tenders.
### Pricing
Pay per event: charged per **saved tender**. Notices removed by your filters are free. Use "Max tenders" to control spend.
### Data sources and licences
- EU TED: © European Union, reused under Commission Decision 2011/833/EU. Source: ted.europa.eu.
- UK Find a Tender and Contracts Finder: Open Government Licence v3.0.
- Brazil PNCP: public information under Lei 14.133/2021 (PNCP open-data API).
### FAQ
**Why are some values empty?** Many notices don't publish an estimated value, and Brazil doesn't use CPV codes. Empty is always `null`.
**Why is a Brazil warning shown?** PNCP publishes thousands of pregões per day. The Actor reads the newest 3,000 per procurement type; add states (UF) or shorten the window for full coverage.
**Are TED titles translated?** TED provides an English summary title ("Country – CPV – original title"); the original-language text stays in the title and description.
### Changelog
- 1.0: first release.
