## Pricing

from $3.00 / 1,000 basic events

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does Partiful Events Scraper do?

**Partiful Events Scraper** extracts public event listings, full event details, discover rankings, locations, RSVP and ticketing settings, host profiles, and host-published events from [Partiful](https://partiful.com/). You can scrape a city feed, all available regions, one event, or a public host profile without using an official API.

Use it to build event databases, monitor local event trends, research venues and organizers, discover popular events, or send structured Partiful data into your own automations and analytics tools.

### Why scrape Partiful?

| Use case | What you can do |
| --- | --- |
| Event discovery | Collect upcoming events from one city or every available Partiful region. |
| Trend research | Compare curated discover shelves, shelf positions, and public RSVP counts. |
| Venue research | Build lists of venues, neighborhoods, addresses, and map links. |
| Organizer research | Extract public host profiles, social links, activity totals, and published events. |
| Event monitoring | Track event dates, status, capacity, waitlist rules, and ticketing information. |
| Data enrichment | Add full event details and similar-event recommendations to feed results. |

### What Partiful data can I extract?

The Actor returns event and host records. Useful fields include:

| Field | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `type` | String | Record type: `event` or `host`. |
| `url` | String | Canonical public Partiful URL. |
| `title` | String | Event title. |
| `description` | String | Public event description. |
| `startDate` / `endDate` | String | Event dates as ISO timestamps. |
| `venueName` | String | Venue or displayed location name. |
| `addressLines` | Array | Public address lines provided for the event. |
| `region` | String | Partiful discover region. |
| `discoverPlacements` | Array | Discover shelf names and the event's position in each shelf. |
| `goingGuestCount` | Number | Public count of guests marked as going. |
| `detail` | Object | Ticketing, capacity, RSVP rules, hosts, questions, callouts, and similar events. |
| `name` / `socials` | String / Object | Public host name and social handles. |

Conditional fields are present only when Partiful makes them public for that event or profile. The **Output** tab contains the complete schema and focused views for events, detailed events, discover rankings, locations, and host activity.

### How to scrape Partiful events

1. [Create a free Apify account](https://apify.com/) if you do not already have one.
2. Open **Partiful Events Scraper** and click **Try for free**.
3. Add one or more supported Partiful URLs.
4. Set **Max items** to cap the number of records and control cost.
5. Turn on **Get full event details** when you need ticketing, capacity, RSVP, host, or similar-event data.
6. Click **Start**. Download the results from the **Dataset** tab as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, RSS, or HTML.

### Supported Partiful URLs

| URL pattern | Result |
| --- | --- |
| `https://partiful.com/explore` | Events from every currently available region. |
| `https://partiful.com/explore/nyc` | Events from one region. |
| `https://partiful.com/explore/new_york` | Common region aliases are resolved to the current region. |
| `https://partiful.com/explore/nyc?tag=MUSIC` | Events from a specific region and feed tab. |
| `https://partiful.com/e/{eventId}` | One fully detailed event, regardless of the global detail setting. |
| `https://partiful.com/u/{userId}` | One public host profile and its published events. |
| `https://go.partiful.com/{code}` | The event targeted by the Partiful short link. |

Unknown regions are skipped instead of silently expanding the run to every region. Password-protected events are skipped and are not charged as results.

### Input

| Parameter | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `startUrls` | Array | Required | Partiful explore, event, host, or short-link URLs. |
| `maxItems` | Integer | `200` | Maximum event and host records returned; allowed range is 1–5,000. |
| `getEventDetails` | Boolean | `false` | Enrich feed events with ticketing, capacity, RSVP, host, and similar-event fields. Direct event URLs are always detailed. |
| `includeSimilarEvents` | Boolean | `false` | Follow similar events from detailed feed events, limited to one hop and five recommendations per source event. Requires full event details. |
| `maxConcurrency` | Integer | `10` | Maximum parallel requests; allowed range is 1–20. The default is recommended. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Object | Disabled | Proxy settings. Leave disabled unless repeated access errors occur. |
| `debugMode` | Boolean | `false` | Save failed-request diagnostics to the run's key-value store. |

#### Example: scrape a city feed

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://partiful.com/explore/la" }],
  "maxItems": 100,
  "getEventDetails": false
}
```

#### Example: get detailed event and RSVP data

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://partiful.com/explore/nyc" }],
  "maxItems": 25,
  "getEventDetails": true,
  "includeSimilarEvents": false
}
```

#### Example: scrape a Partiful host

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://partiful.com/u/{userId}" }],
  "maxItems": 25
}
```

### Output

Results are saved to the run's default dataset. Event and host records can appear in the same dataset; use `type` to distinguish them.

#### Sample event output

```json
{
  "type": "event",
  "id": "exampleEvent123",
  "url": "https://partiful.com/e/exampleEvent123",
  "title": "Rooftop Social",
  "description": "An evening community gathering.",
  "startDate": "2026-09-12T23:00:00.000Z",
  "endDate": "2026-09-13T02:00:00.000Z",
  "timezone": "America/New_York",
  "venueName": "Example Hall",
  "addressLines": ["100 Example St", "New York, NY 10001"],
  "region": "NYC",
  "discoverPlacements": [
    { "sectionId": "trending-events", "sectionTitle": "Trending", "position": 2 }
  ],
  "goingGuestCount": 42,
  "sourceType": "feed",
  "detail": null,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-08-30T12:00:00.000Z"
}
```

When detail enrichment is enabled, `detail` can include ticketing configuration, guest-status counts, maximum and remaining capacity, RSVP action, waitlist settings, public questionnaire prompts, event callouts, short URL, host summaries, and up to five similar-event summaries.

Host records can include `name`, `bio`, `socials`, `photoUrl`, `isManaged`, `publishedEventCount`, `hostedEventCountTotal`, and `attendedEventCount`.

### How much does it cost to scrape Partiful?

This Actor uses pay-per-result pricing. A basic event, detailed event, or host profile counts as one result. The current per-result rate depends on your Apify plan tier:

| Plan tier | Price per result | Approximate cost for 1,000 results |
| --- | ---: | ---: |
| Free | $0.006 | $6 |
| Bronze | $0.005 | $5 |
| Silver | $0.004 | $4 |
| Gold, Platinum, or Diamond | $0.003 | $3 |

Each run also has a $0.00005 start charge. Set `maxItems` before starting a broad regional crawl so the run cannot grow beyond the result count you intended.

### Tips and limitations

- Start with feed-only results for broad discovery, then enable full details for smaller, targeted runs.
- A direct `/e/{eventId}` URL always returns full details even when `getEventDetails` is `false`.
- Similar-event expansion is intentionally limited to one hop and five recommendations per source event.
- Leave the proxy setting disabled unless runs repeatedly encounter access errors.
- Public fields vary by event. For example, exact locations, capacity, guest counts, or ticketing may not be displayed by every organizer.

### FAQ

#### Can I scrape all Partiful regions?

Yes. Use `https://partiful.com/explore` as the start URL. The Actor discovers the currently available regions and stops when it reaches `maxItems`.

#### Can I scrape one Partiful event?

Yes. Add its `https://partiful.com/e/{eventId}` URL or a `go.partiful.com` short link. Direct event URLs are always enriched with full public details.

#### Does the Actor extract private guest information?

No. It extracts public event, RSVP summary, location, and host information. It does not extract private guest lists, questionnaire answers, or password-protected event data.

#### Is it legal to scrape Partiful?

This Actor only extracts publicly available data. You are responsible for checking Partiful's Terms of Service and applicable laws and for ensuring that you have a legitimate purpose for collecting and using the data.

### Support

- Report bugs or request features in the **Issues** tab.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Partiful URLs to scrape. Supports explore feeds (https://partiful.com/explore/nyc), common region names such as /explore/new_york, single events (https://partiful.com/e/{id}), host profiles (https://partiful.com/u/{id}), and go.partiful.com short links. Available regions are discovered from Partiful at run time. Use https://partiful.com/explore to crawl every region.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many records, including events and host profiles.

## `getEventDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Fetch each event page for ticketing, hosts, capacity and RSVP rules, public questions and callouts, timestamps, short URL, and similar event summaries. Direct event start URLs are always fetched with full details.

## `includeSimilarEvents` (type: `boolean`):

Follow similar events from detailed feed events, capped at one hop and five similar events per source event. Only applies when full event details are enabled.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Parallel HTTP requests. Partiful is small and currently unprotected, so 10 is enough for full crawls.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

No proxy is needed by default. Enable Apify Proxy only if runs start receiving persistent 403 responses.

## `debugMode` (type: `boolean`):

Save raw failed HTTP response diagnostics to the default key-value store.
