## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Ashby Jobs Scraper

Collect **all open jobs from any company that hires with Ashby**, including **published salary ranges**, as clean data for **$1 per 1,000 jobs**.

Ashby is the applicant tracking system behind many fast-growing startups. This actor reads each company's public job board and returns department, team, employment type, workplace type, remote flag, all locations, compensation (min, max, currency and interval), apply link and the full description.

### How to use

1. Copy the board URL, e.g. `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp`, or write `ashby:ramp`, or just the name.
2. Paste one or more into **Companies**.
3. Optionally filter by **Title keywords**, **Locations**, **Remote only** or **Posted within (days)**.
4. Run and export JSON/CSV/Excel or use the API.

### Boards verified to work

`openai` (790+ jobs), `ramp`, `perplexity`, `cohere`, `elevenlabs`, `notion`, `plaid`, `harvey` (350+), `cursor`, `replit`, `langchain`, `modal`, `supabase`, `linear`.

### Good to know

- **Salary fields.** `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency` and `salaryInterval` hold the numeric range; `salaryText` holds the display string (for example "$211.4K - $290.6K, offers equity").
- **Locations.** `location` is the primary office; `locations` also includes every secondary location.
- **Daily monitoring.** Use `postedWithinDays: 1` with a schedule to catch new roles on the day they appear.

### Use cases

Compensation benchmarking, startup hiring trends, recruiting and sourcing, sales triggers, job alerts and AI agents that need current job data.

### Output

One consistent record per job, whatever careers system it came from: `company`, `title`, `department`, `team`,
`employmentType`, `workplaceType`, `isRemote`, `location`, `locations`, `country`, `postedAt`, `url`, `applyUrl`,
`salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryInterval`, `salaryText`, `descriptionHtml`, `descriptionText`,
`provider`, `jobId` and `scrapedAt`. Fields a careers system doesn't publish are `null`.

### Pricing

**$0.001 per job** ($1 per 1,000 jobs). Jobs removed by your filters are never charged. `maxItems` caps the cost of a run.

### Other careers systems

Beyond Ashby, the same actor also reads Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Rippling,
Recruitee, Teamtailor, Personio, Breezy and Gem. You can mix them in one run.

### Legal

The actor only reads the public job feeds that companies publish so their openings can be displayed and shared.
It does not log in, bypass protection or collect personal data. You are responsible for how you use the data.

*This actor is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Ashby, Inc.. Ashby, Inc. is a trademark of its owner; the name is used only to describe which careers sites the actor reads.*

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line. Use a careers page URL (e.g. https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, https://jobs.lever.co/palantir, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp), a provider:slug pair (e.g. workable:huggingface), a Workday URL (e.g. https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite), or just the company's board name (e.g. stripe) and the right job board is detected automatically (not for Workday).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive). Leave empty for all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose location contains any of these (e.g. 'London', 'Germany', 'NY'). Leave empty for all.

## `includeRemoteInLocationFilter` (type: `boolean`):

When filtering by location, also keep remote jobs.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked as remote by the job board.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs published in the last N days. Leave empty for all.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Full description as HTML and plain text.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs. You pay per job, so this also caps your cost.
