## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Jobs Scraper: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Rippling & more

Get **every open job from any company's careers page** in one clean, consistent format, at **$1 per 1,000 jobs**.

Paste careers page URLs (or just company names) and get back titles, departments, locations, remote/hybrid flags, employment type, salary ranges (where published), posting dates, apply links and full descriptions.

### Why this scraper

- **12 applicant tracking systems in one actor**: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Rippling, Recruitee, Teamtailor, Personio, Breezy and Gem. Mix them freely in one run.
- **One schema for all of them**: no more writing a parser per job board.
- **Auto-detection**: type `stripe` or `ramp` and the actor finds which job board the company uses.
- **Fast and reliable**: it reads the job boards' official public JSON/XML feeds (the same ones career sites embed). No browser, no login and no proxy, so runs finish in seconds and rarely break.
- **Cheap**: you pay only per job returned. Filters (keywords, location, remote, date) are applied *before* charging, so you never pay for jobs you filtered out.

### Use cases

- **Job aggregators and boards**: keep listings fresh from hundreds of companies.
- **Recruiters and sourcers**: track which target companies are hiring, and for what.
- **Sales and market intelligence**: hiring is a buying signal. See who is hiring engineers, sales or security roles.
- **Job seekers**: watch your dream companies and get only new roles (combine `postedWithinDays` with a daily schedule).
- **Salary research**: Ashby, Lever and Recruitee boards often publish pay ranges.
- **AI agents and RAG**: structured, current job data for LLM pipelines.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `companies` | One per line. A careers URL (`https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb`, `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir`, `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp`, `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface`, `https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup`, `https://bunq.recruitee.com`, `https://acme.jobs.personio.de`, `https://career.teamtailor.com`, `https://breezy.breezy.hr`, `https://ats.rippling.com/rippling/jobs`, `https://jobs.gem.com/gem`), a Workday URL (`https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`), a `provider:slug` pair (`workable:huggingface`), or a bare board name (`stripe`) for auto-detection (not available for Workday). |
| `keywords` | Keep jobs whose title contains any of these words. |
| `locations` | Keep jobs whose location contains any of these (city, state or country). |
| `includeRemoteInLocationFilter` | Also keep remote jobs when filtering by location (default on). |
| `remoteOnly` | Only remote jobs. |
| `postedWithinDays` | Only jobs published in the last N days. |
| `includeDescription` | Include full description as HTML and plain text (default on). |
| `maxItems` | Hard cap on jobs returned (and on cost). |

Example:

```json
{
  "companies": ["https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb", "lever:palantir", "ramp"],
  "keywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "locations": ["New York", "London"],
  "postedWithinDays": 30
}
```

### Output

Every job has the same fields, whichever job board it came from:

```json
{
  "provider": "ashby",
  "company": "ramp",
  "companySlug": "ramp",
  "jobId": "34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "title": "Security Engineer, Cloud",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "team": "Backend",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "workplaceType": "Hybrid",
  "isRemote": true,
  "location": "New York, NY (HQ)",
  "locations": ["New York, NY (HQ)", "Remote (Canada)"],
  "country": "USA",
  "postedAt": "2026-04-07T17:12:35.753000+00:00",
  "updatedAt": null,
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-...",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-.../application",
  "salaryMin": 211400,
  "salaryMax": 290600,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryInterval": "1 YEAR",
  "salaryText": "$211.4K – $290.6K • Offers Equity",
  "descriptionHtml": "<h1>About Ramp</h1>...",
  "descriptionText": "ABOUT RAMP ...",
  "input": "ramp",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-25T00:00:00+00:00"
}
```

Fields a job board doesn't provide are `null` (for example, Greenhouse's public feed has no salary).

### Pricing

**$0.001 per job** ($1 per 1,000 jobs), plus Apify's tiny standard per-run start fee. Filtered-out jobs are never charged. Set `maxItems` to cap the cost of a run.

### Tips

- Not sure which board a company uses? Open their careers page and paste the URL of any job; the actor will recognize it. Or just try the bare name.
- For daily monitoring, schedule the actor with `postedWithinDays: 1` and connect the dataset to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Make or a webhook.
- EU-hosted Lever boards are supported (`jobs.eu.lever.co/...`).
- **Workday**: paste any job or search URL from the company's Workday careers site. Workday limits any single search to 2,000 results; use `keywords` or `locations` in separate runs for larger employers. Workday shows only relative posting dates ("Posted 3 Days Ago") in listings, so `postedAt` is exact only when descriptions are included.
- Rippling and SmartRecruiters fetch each job's details separately; turn off `includeDescription` for much faster bulk runs.

### Is it legal?

The actor only reads the public job-board feeds that companies publish so their openings can be displayed and shared. It doesn't log in, bypass any protection, or collect personal data. You are responsible for how you use the data; check the terms that apply to your use case.

### Support

Found a company that isn't detected, or need another job board (BambooHR, JazzHR, Jobvite…)? Open an issue on the actor's Issues tab and it will usually be added quickly.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line. Use a careers page URL (e.g. https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, https://jobs.lever.co/palantir, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp), a provider:slug pair (e.g. workable:huggingface), a Workday URL (e.g. https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite), or just the company's board name (e.g. stripe) and the right job board is detected automatically (not for Workday).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive). Leave empty for all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose location contains any of these (e.g. 'London', 'Germany', 'NY'). Leave empty for all.

## `includeRemoteInLocationFilter` (type: `boolean`):

When filtering by location, also keep remote jobs.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked as remote by the job board.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs published in the last N days. Leave empty for all.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Full description as HTML and plain text.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs. You pay per job, so this also caps your cost.
