## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Greenhouse Jobs Scraper

Get **all open jobs from any company that hires through Greenhouse**, as clean structured data, for **$1 per 1,000 jobs**.

Greenhouse powers the careers pages of thousands of tech and growth companies. Give the actor a company's board (a URL, or just its board name like `stripe`) and it returns every posting with department, office, remote flag, first-published and last-updated dates, apply link and the full description.

### How to use

1. Find the company's Greenhouse board, e.g. `https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb` or `https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/stripe`. You can also write `greenhouse:stripe`, or just `stripe`.
2. Paste one or more entries into **Companies**.
3. Optionally filter by **Title keywords**, **Locations**, **Remote only** or **Posted within (days)**.
4. Run and export JSON, CSV or Excel, or use the API.

### Boards verified to work

`airbnb` (190+ jobs), `stripe` (700+), `anthropic` (680+), `databricks` (890+), `cloudflare` (450+), `datadog` (430+), `coinbase`, `robinhood`, `brex`, `figma`, `gitlab`, `vercel`, `scaleai`, `togetherai`.

### Good to know

- **No salary field.** Greenhouse's public feed doesn't include pay ranges; salary fields are `null` (many Ashby and Lever boards do publish pay, and are covered by the same actor).
- **Two date fields.** `postedAt` is the first publication date; `updatedAt` is the last edit.
- **Daily monitoring.** Schedule with `postedWithinDays: 1` to receive only fresh postings, then push to Slack, Sheets or a webhook.

### Use cases

Candidate sourcing, hiring-signal sales intelligence, competitor team-growth tracking, job aggregators and alerts, labour-market research, and AI/RAG pipelines that need current job data.

### Output

One consistent record per job, whatever careers system it came from: `company`, `title`, `department`, `team`,
`employmentType`, `workplaceType`, `isRemote`, `location`, `locations`, `country`, `postedAt`, `url`, `applyUrl`,
`salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryInterval`, `salaryText`, `descriptionHtml`, `descriptionText`,
`provider`, `jobId` and `scrapedAt`. Fields a careers system doesn't publish are `null`.

### Pricing

**$0.001 per job** ($1 per 1,000 jobs). Jobs removed by your filters are never charged. `maxItems` caps the cost of a run.

### Other careers systems

Beyond Greenhouse Software, the same actor also reads Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Rippling,
Recruitee, Teamtailor, Personio, Breezy and Gem. You can mix them in one run.

### Legal

The actor only reads the public job feeds that companies publish so their openings can be displayed and shared.
It does not log in, bypass protection or collect personal data. You are responsible for how you use the data.

*This actor is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Greenhouse Software, Inc.. Greenhouse Software, Inc. is a trademark of its owner; the name is used only to describe which careers sites the actor reads.*

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line. Use a careers page URL (e.g. https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, https://jobs.lever.co/palantir, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp), a provider:slug pair (e.g. workable:huggingface), a Workday URL (e.g. https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite), or just the company's board name (e.g. stripe) and the right job board is detected automatically (not for Workday).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive). Leave empty for all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose location contains any of these (e.g. 'London', 'Germany', 'NY'). Leave empty for all.

## `includeRemoteInLocationFilter` (type: `boolean`):

When filtering by location, also keep remote jobs.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked as remote by the job board.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs published in the last N days. Leave empty for all.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Full description as HTML and plain text.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs. You pay per job, so this also caps your cost.
