## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Jobs Scraper

Pull **every open job from any company's Workday careers site** (the `*.myworkdayjobs.com` pages used by thousands of large employers) as clean, structured data, for **$1 per 1,000 jobs**.

Workday sites have no export button, and each company hides its jobs behind a search page. Paste the careers-page URL and this actor pages through the whole board and returns title, location(s), remote flag, employment type, posting date, apply link and the full job description.

### How to use

1. Open the company's careers site and copy its URL, for example `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`. Any job or search URL on that site works too.
2. Paste one or more URLs into **Companies**.
3. Optionally add **Title keywords**, **Locations**, **Remote only** or **Posted within (days)**.
4. Run, then download JSON, CSV or Excel, or call the API.

### Companies verified to work

| Company | Careers URL |
|---|---|
| NVIDIA | `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite` |
| Salesforce | `https://salesforce.wd12.myworkdayjobs.com/External_Career_Site` |
| Adobe | `https://adobe.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/external_experienced` |
| Cisco | `https://cisco.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/Cisco_Careers` |
| Mastercard | `https://mastercard.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/CorporateCareers` |
| PayPal | `https://paypal.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/jobs` |
| Pfizer | `https://pfizer.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/PfizerCareers` |
| Workday | `https://workday.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/Workday` |

### Good to know

- **2,000-job limit per site.** Workday returns at most 2,000 results for any single search. For bigger employers, run several times with different `keywords` or `locations`.
- **Posting dates.** Workday's list only says "Posted 3 Days Ago". The exact date is read from each job's detail page when `includeDescription` is on; otherwise `postedAt` is the approximate day.
- **Speed.** Turn off `includeDescription` for much faster bulk runs; filters by keyword are applied before details are fetched, so you only wait for jobs you keep.
- **Daily monitoring.** Schedule the actor with `postedWithinDays: 1` and send the results to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier or a webhook.

### Use cases

Recruiting and sourcing, competitor hiring intelligence, sales triggers (who is hiring for which roles), salary and skills research, job boards and aggregators, and feeding fresh job data to AI agents.

### Output

One consistent record per job, whatever careers system it came from: `company`, `title`, `department`, `team`,
`employmentType`, `workplaceType`, `isRemote`, `location`, `locations`, `country`, `postedAt`, `url`, `applyUrl`,
`salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryInterval`, `salaryText`, `descriptionHtml`, `descriptionText`,
`provider`, `jobId` and `scrapedAt`. Fields a careers system doesn't publish are `null`.

### Pricing

**$0.001 per job** ($1 per 1,000 jobs). Jobs removed by your filters are never charged. `maxItems` caps the cost of a run.

### Other careers systems

Beyond Workday, the same actor also reads Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Rippling,
Recruitee, Teamtailor, Personio, Breezy and Gem. You can mix them in one run.

### Legal

The actor only reads the public job feeds that companies publish so their openings can be displayed and shared.
It does not log in, bypass protection or collect personal data. You are responsible for how you use the data.

*This actor is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Workday, Inc.. Workday, Inc. is a trademark of its owner; the name is used only to describe which careers sites the actor reads.*

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line. Use a careers page URL (e.g. https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, https://jobs.lever.co/palantir, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp), a provider:slug pair (e.g. workable:huggingface), a Workday URL (e.g. https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite), or just the company's board name (e.g. stripe) and the right job board is detected automatically (not for Workday).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive). Leave empty for all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose location contains any of these (e.g. 'London', 'Germany', 'NY'). Leave empty for all.

## `includeRemoteInLocationFilter` (type: `boolean`):

When filtering by location, also keep remote jobs.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked as remote by the job board.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs published in the last N days. Leave empty for all.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Full description as HTML and plain text.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs. You pay per job, so this also caps your cost.
