## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## App Store & Google Play Reviews Scraper

Get app reviews from **both the Apple App Store and Google Play in one run and one table**. Paste app links, IDs or package names, pick how many reviews you want, and download the results as CSV, Excel or JSON.

### What you get for each review

- **Store, app ID and country**
- **Rating** (1–5), **title** (App Store) and **review text**
- **Date** and the **app version** the reviewer used
- **Helpful votes** and, on Google Play, the **developer's reply** and its date
- Reviewer name and a link back to the store

### Why this actor

- **Two stores, one format**: compare iOS and Android feedback without merging files
- **Several countries at once** for the App Store, where each country has its own reviews
- **Newest or most helpful first**
- Fast and light: no browser, so runs finish in seconds

### Input example

```json
{
  "apps": ["https://apps.apple.com/us/app/whatsapp-messenger/id310633997", "com.whatsapp"],
  "maxReviewsPerApp": 200,
  "sort": "newest",
  "countries": ["us", "gb"],
  "language": "en"
}
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "store": "google_play",
  "appId": "com.whatsapp",
  "rating": 4,
  "text": "Works great, but backups take too long.",
  "date": "2026-10-18T09:12:44.000Z",
  "appVersion": "2.26.21.7",
  "thumbsUp": 12,
  "replyText": null,
  "userName": "A Google user",
  "url": "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whatsapp&reviewId=..."
}
```

### Limits

Apple's public feed returns up to 500 of the latest (or most helpful) reviews per app and country. Add more countries to get more App Store reviews. Google Play has no such cap.

### Use cases

App store optimization, competitor research, sentiment analysis, bug triage from user feedback, and feeding reviews to an LLM for summaries.

# Actor input Schema

## `apps` (type: `array`):

App Store links or IDs (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/whatsapp-messenger/id310633997 or 310633997) and Google Play links or package names (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whatsapp or com.whatsapp). Mix both stores freely.

## `maxReviewsPerApp` (type: `integer`):

The App Store feed gives at most 500 reviews per app per country. Google Play has no such limit.

## `sort` (type: `string`):

Newest reviews first, or the ones other users found most helpful.

## `countries` (type: `array`):

Two-letter country codes. App Store reviews differ per country, so add several to get more. Google Play uses the first one.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Two-letter language code for Google Play reviews.
