## Pricing

from $1.40 / 1,000 images

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Google Images Scraper: Image Search API with New-Image Monitor

Use this Actor when you need Google Images results for keywords: full-size image URL, width, height, file size, color, source page, title and domain. Monitor mode returns only images new since the last run. Site filters. No per-search fee; failed searches are free.

One row per image, in Google's order: the **full-size image URL** (the original file, not Google's thumbnail) with **width and height**, the **thumbnail**, **file size**, **dominant color**, and the **page it appears on** with its **title, site name and domain**. With a time filter, each image also carries Google's **"published" label** ("4 hours ago").

No Google account, no API key, no browser.

### Why this one

- **Monitor mode.** Turn on *Only images not delivered before* and schedule the Actor: each run returns only images that were not in earlier results for that search. Pair it with *Published within: past 24 hours* and you get a daily feed of new images for a brand, a product or a topic, without paying again for the ones you already have.
- **Site filters.** Keep only images from the sites you care about (`etsy.com`, `pinterest.com`), or skip sites (your own domain, to see where your product photos show up elsewhere). Skipped images are not charged.
- **No per-search fee.** You pay per image delivered. Some Google Images Actors add a fee for every results page they read; this one does not. Failed searches are free.
- **Tested:** 5 real search terms on 2026-11-03 returned 500 of 500 images, 0 errors, every row with full-size URL, width, height, title, page and domain. Site filter `etsy.com` returned 30 of 30 images from Etsy pages; excluding `pinterest.com` and `wikipedia.org` returned 100 images with none from those sites.

### Input

| Field | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| `queries` | Search terms, one per line | `["golden retriever"]` |
| `maxImagesPerQuery` | Images per term, 1 to 100 (one Google results page) | 50 |
| `onlyNewImages` | Monitor mode: only images not delivered by earlier runs of the same search | `false` |
| `timeRange` | `any`, `hour`, `day`, `week`, `month`, `year` | `any` |
| `onlyFromSites` | Only images on pages of these domains | empty |
| `excludeSites` | Leave out images on pages of these domains | empty |
| `size` | `any`, `large`, `medium`, `icon` | `any` |
| `imageType` | `any`, `photo`, `clipart`, `lineart`, `animated` | `any` |
| `usageRights` | `any`, `creativeCommons`, `commercial` | `any` |
| `country` | Google market, two letters (`us`, `gb`, `de`, `br`...) | `us` |
| `language` | Interface language, two letters | `en` |
| `maxConcurrency` | Searches in parallel, 1 to 5 | 3 |

```json
{
  "queries": ["nike air max 90", "golden retriever"],
  "maxImagesPerQuery": 50,
  "timeRange": "week",
  "onlyNewImages": true
}
```

### Output

```json
{
  "imageId": "JKX4-tyssxqy6M",
  "imageUrl": "https://media.zenfs.com/en/parade_pets_articles_328/f66483e094d0fcfeb0bc8ecc58746f43.jpg",
  "imageWidth": 3000,
  "thumbnailUrl": "https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQT5vPSGlkyqPrZzq1B1VMwmXO8spZVVlAvTRrDMNcldQ&s=10",
  "thumbnailWidth": 561,
  "thumbnailHeight": 547,
  "dominantColor": "rgb(138,148,145)",
  "fileSizeText": "417KB",
  "fileSizeBytes": 427008,
  "aspectRatio": 1.025,
  "title": "Golden Retriever Puppy Finds the Perfect Pillow and It Has Four Paws",
  "pageUrl": "https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/articles/golden-retriever-puppy-finds-perfect-230000975.html",
  "siteName": "Yahoo",
  "domain": "www.yahoo.com",
  "publishedAgo": "4 hours ago",
  "position": 2,
  "query": "golden retriever",
  "country": "us",
  "language": "en",
  "filters": null,
  "isNew": null,
  "searchUrl": "https://www.google.com/search?q=golden+retriever&tbm=isch&hl=en&gl=us",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-11-03T10:15:02Z",
  "error": null,
  "charged": true
}
```

- `publishedAgo` is Google's own label; it is filled for most images when you use a time filter and for a few otherwise.
- `isNew` is `true` in monitor mode and `null` otherwise. Google reshuffles the lower part of its results page between requests, so "new" means *not delivered before by this monitor*: with *Published within* set, it is also recently published.
- A search that fails, or a term Google has no images for, comes back as a row with `query`, `error` and `charged: false`, and is not charged. The run's final message says how many searches failed.

### Pricing

Pricing: you pay per result, failures are free. One event per image delivered. In monitor mode there is also a small charge per search checked, because a check that finds nothing new still reads a Google results page.

### Notes

- Google shows up to 100 images on its results page for a term; for more images on one subject, add variations of the term ("golden retriever puppy", "golden retriever beach") or change the filters.
- Images belong to their owners. Check the license on the source page before reusing an image.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

One search per line, as you would type it into Google Images ("golden retriever", "nike air max 90", "minimalist logo design").

## `maxImagesPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

How many images to return for each search term, up to 100 (one Google Images results page). For more images on a subject, add variations of the term or run it with different filters.

## `onlyNewImages` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers the images already delivered for each search (same term, country, language and filters) and returns only new ones. The first run returns the current results and saves them as the baseline. Combine with 'Published within' = past day and a daily schedule to get a feed of fresh images for a brand, product or topic.

## `timeRange` (type: `string`):

Google's time filter. With a time filter, almost every image carries Google's 'publishedAgo' label ("4 hours ago").

## `onlyFromSites` (type: `array`):

Website domains, one per line (etsy.com, pinterest.com). Only images on pages of these sites (and their subdomains) are returned. Useful to see how your product or brand shows up on a marketplace.

## `excludeSites` (type: `array`):

Website domains, one per line. Images on pages of these sites are left out (and not charged). Example: your own domain, to find where your images appear elsewhere.

## `size` (type: `string`):

Google's size filter.

## `imageType` (type: `string`):

Google's type filter.

## `usageRights` (type: `string`):

Google's usage rights filter. Check the license on the source page before reusing an image.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Two-letter country code of the Google market to search (us, gb, ca, au, de, fr, br, in...). Results differ by country.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Two-letter language code for Google's interface and labels (en, de, fr, es, pt...).

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many searches run at the same time (1 to 5).

## `proxy` (type: `object`):

Apify's Google SERP proxy is the one that works reliably with Google. Leave as is.
